This video is slightly different than usual, hope guys like it❤ (Tbh, you may not notice much of a difference but it felt v different editing it🤣) In any case, we love you guys!!!
Loved this video. Christchurch is my home town, and interesting thing is that 70% of the centre of town was demolished after a massive earthquake nearly 12 years ago. The centre of the city has struggled to get the population back that it once had, so it seems fairly dead. I love your editing style, I’m planning on using your story board format and shot ideas, when I produce videos on our next trip to Italy and Spain. I’m currently using LumaFusion but have Final Cut installed on my Mac so I will start to learn that from now on overall I have loved your video series on New Zealand so much and I am thrilled that you have found our country very beautiful and friendly. Safe travels
I am so glad you are enjoying my little country so much. I left Canada in 2011 to move here and is still amazed by what I continue to discover. Cannot wait to see what you think of Auckland (and would have loved a small review on your Air NZ flight as I work for the airline) Ka kite anō (Thanks and good bye)
Living in a very different part of the world where people worry about such life basics and live in a very low frequency, wishing tomorrow won't be worse than today! watching you guys always brings me peace and calm, and watching what you are able to do, and where you are now, gives me a big hope in life, and it reminds me how life is great and beautiful and motivates me to do my best to be able to see the world, I've been following you for a long time, every vlog is different and unique, I feel like being there having these experiences with you, you are doing so good, keep it up and keep giving us more joy and hope. All the best😊🙌❤
Oh wow! I live in Christchurch :) half Kiwi/ Portuguese. It takes SO long to get here from Europe, but worth it! Hope you had a good time and that the earthquake repair/ damage in Christchurch didn't put you off coming back. It's an interesting city, also around the river is beautiful. Have a nice time both, come back soon!
The editing looks great guys! I hope you continue sharing with us this new phase of your life that you're getting into I'm sure we're all excited to watch it.
That was awesome Boys, your editing skills just keep improving ,not surprising when you have such amazing scenery to film. I wouldn't swear to it ,but,I'd say,it was a little more "arty & introspective" than usual? But,it might also be that you've both really enjoyed this incredible experience;it's such a pleasure to vicariously follow you both. As ever very best wishes to you&yours💥👊❤💯👏👏👏💙💙👌⭐'s💯👋✌
Those 2 mountains behind you in the tekapo (said teck-a-po) shot are the two thumb range, and are the head of the rangitata tover rivr on the eastern side of them. Over the river is Samuel Butlers Erewhon Station. You Boyd have left so much to see and do. An hour north of Christchurch is the mountain village of Hanmer Springs where beautiful hot mineral pools ease all your aches and pains. Love to take you to both places
Go to Matai bay next time! I go camping there every year but because I live just outside of Matamata on a dairy farm it’s a 7 hour drive up 😢 but totally worth it
Nice video! As a local, I just wanted to point out that you're pronouncing Tekapo incorrectly 😉 Should be "teh·ka·pow" - the vowels are similar to Japanese
New Zealand is one big giant Hobbiton. You aretn wrong, CHCH city use to be a giant bustling town with nightlife till 6am then the earthquake happened and its still recovering.
I would love to take a guess as to your direction of travel going forward,,,,,, More Travel,,,, at a different pace ,,,,,,, Possible Parenthood,,,,,, you both would be great with that,,,,, and although you have documented everything very well,,,,, possibly a BOOK 📕,,,,, keep blogging. ✌✌✌✌👍👍👍❤❤❤🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇳🇴🇩🇰🇮🇸🇫🇷🇷🇴🇨🇳🇯🇵🏳🌈🇧🇴🇺🇸🌍
idk if im just sleep deprived or not but i kinda prefer the former style. I like it when you guys just talk about how you experience the area more. I personally watch you for your stories since theres lots of media abt diff biomes already. It's cool that you're switching it up tho and experimenting and stuff! You guys deserve to immerse yourself in peace as much as you want. I guess it comes with traveling through so many places that you'd just want to be in the moment more.
Next time you guys go...a stop in Wellington is well-worth it to me. I think it gets overlooked. I love seeing you guys discovering my favorite place in the world.
Really hoping you guys have missed this horrible weather we're being plagued with. It's such a shame that you're here while all of this is going on. NZ summer is usually really beautiful. This is very out of the ordinary for this time of year. Hope you're not stuck!!
@@OskarandDan i can just see what's going to happen. You get stranded at the airport waist deep in water? Oh nooooo!!!! It's so unfortunate that you had to pick the worst time to come to your 100th country. Really so sorry!
New Zealand is definitely on my bucket list. It’s so green and beautiful there. I can’t wait to see Auckland. Both styles of editing is great Oskar. However you want to do it!❤✈️
New Zealand has so many different types of scenery ! Enjoy your trip here. It’s a very sacred place, great for reflection. It’s a place that you need time to stop and appreciate everything :)
You guys must go out to Waiheke island off Auckland. Look it up! Im sure you'll love it there. It's a very beautiful place, lots of great accommodation, it's for foodies and wine lovers!
Beautiful. Whatever the future holds you're both so lucky to be able to experience it with a wonderful travel companion. Thanks for the videos and please consider a coffee table book.
Loved the video! I appreciate the effort and so I feel a little bad that I couldn’t tell much difference. 😢 I’ll go back and watch an earlier one and then watch this one again. 😊
So just yesterday I watched you fly into my current home airport on Dan’s channel, now I watch you exploring where I spent my childhood (Banks Peninsular).. Loving your trip “down under”.. keep it up guys! But not too much, dont want to let our hidden gems get too popular!!! 😊
Thanks Oskar and Dan! I'm so glad you enjoyed the Banks Peninsula and also Christchurch!! But so happy you got to see my home city Auckland! Yes sorry you both arrived when we had the hurricane weather coming in (ugh 😔😔) but I hope you did manage to do some exploring around. If you ever return let me know and I'll be happy to welcome you both 💖💖💖
I Loved the video!!!!!! And honestly, even though it was 12 minutes long it felt like it was only 2 minutes. The editing was fantastic. It seemed like we didn’t see as much of Dan as we did Oskar, maybe that’s just me. The video felt subtle, calming and quaint, which could be a product of the environment in New Zealand, rather than what you were aiming for. Either way it was a awesome video. I love following you guys. You give me lots of ideas. I’m about to start a travel blog with my 11 year old identical twin boys and although we have done a fair bit of traveling we have never been to New Zealand, this beautiful place is now on the list for us. Now I’m off to watch your other New Zealand vlogs. Stay safe fellas. P.S The shots of the lakes and mountains definitely reminded me of Loch Ness, Loch Lomond and isle of skye in Scotland. I live in Washington DC and we don’t see that natural beauty, although the cherry blossom festival is beautiful lol 😂
I really like this new type of content you guys have been putting out. I love planes AND travel so it’s really cool between your two channels! Keep doing what you’re doing, I love your content!!!!!
New Zealand is absolutely on my bucket list. I have watched many videos on it, but you guys did a really great job in showing the beauty that is New Zealand! Your headline had me a little worried that this was the last hurrah for travel! I haven't been through all your videos, in fact I have so many yet to view, which is awesome. However, did you ever do a comprehensive video on Sweden and Goteburg in particular through the eyes of two Swedes? I would love to see that! It's always nice to see what the natives show.
Lovely video. It’s always nice to see my home country, I was out there last year visiting family. Yes, the plants and flowers are more colourful in NZ. You would of definitely felt the difference in temperature in Auckland. Way too hot for me. 👍
Hey guys you are in my top 3 of YT channels. I love the new style that is probably influenced by your introspection. The only thing I found a bit jarring was the zooming in & out at Lake Tekapo. I look forward to your next 100 countries :D
One piece of advice with editing. Sometimes you only show a shot for like a second and it’s hard on the eyes. Maybe slow it down just a tad. Also, the focus jumps around sometimes when you are speaking, like the shot in the car. Not complaining. Your videos are amazing. Thank you for showing us the beautiful scenery.
Jokes aside, I have loved experiencing my home country through your eyes. Aotearoa truly is a unique taonga (treasure) of this earth. I am glad you were able to feel and be blessed by its beauty. In future visits, hire a car from Auckland and explore the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Coromandel and Northland regions!
This video is slightly different than usual, hope guys like it❤ (Tbh, you may not notice much of a difference but it felt v different editing it🤣) In any case, we love you guys!!!
Hey Sofia!
Like the slightly new style. 👍🏼

Was it faster transitions? Not too much difference tbh, but still appreciate the comic sans commentary on the vids

When you talk to us, quitting the sunglasses is appreciated. Thanks for all your wonderful videos
Sorry, we have very sensitive eyes😆 Will try to think about it!

Loved this new style of filming, also a little more personal in the story-telling. So proud of you, guys :)

Quite introspective. But, I suppose, that’s what travel is about. It makes one reevaluate the world and one’s role in it.
Those 2 mountains behind you in the tekapo (said teck-a-po) shot are the two thumb range, and are the head of the rangitata tover rivr on the eastern side of them. Great job! Enjoy! 🥰
Loved this vlog! Haven't been to NZ in 30 years but thanks for bringing back Happy memories 🥰
So beautiful!
Love it guys. I can’t wait to see the rest of this New Zealand adventure. Love and blessings from the United States!!❤️
GLORIOUS
It's a shame you didn't make it to Nelson, Sunshine capital of NZ,Golden Bay is pretty spectacular.
GLORIOUS!

Another great video guys! Always great editing…and Hannah Montana! 😂😂😂
What a beautiful place! The video seemed to "flow" better...it felt calmer. I'd like to see you explore the Scandinavian countries more.
It was different? Huh, i did not notice ... love your videos!
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍vidéo Tooop . Merci . Bonjour du Maroc .
It is a higher quality video guys. Bravo!! You might think of staying put in New Zealand?
We wish it wasn't so far away from everyone!
I'm new to the channel, but wondered if this video "flowed" more than the few previous ones I've watched...
I’m just watching this wondering if you guys got caught in floods in Auckland. Love your content.
11:38 the one and only black Star Alliance (Air New Zealand) plane.
😀🤔🤔I just got the association to "Lord of the Flies".🙃🙃🙃🙃
I honestly didn't notice that much difference in the video editing!
I definitely noticed the style change. That and the title had me worried you were wrapping up the channel given it is your 100th country.
We're just getting started🙌
Nice video! As a local, I just wanted to point out that you're pronouncing Tekapo incorrectly 😉 Should be "teh·ka·pow" - the vowels are similar to Japanese
As you focus on quality, can you recall your past 10 trips? Can you recall the 10 photo moments of each?
Head way up north to the Bay of Islands, you won't regret it.
I agree but it’s no use, they post these videos months after they do them, so right now they’re probably already on to other countries

Hannah Montanaaa the movie in the background🤣😍
Yeeeesss😍
@@OskarandDan iconic I need a trip w yall asap to blast some disney music🤣

so your going to get a real job xox
Great vid but you guys really need to learn how to say the place names properly...

No real difference to me

Thanks for coming to New Zealand and comparing New Zealand to European counties it helps me know more about them
Great video guys, definitely enjoyed the way it was presented 👍

Beautiful window on such incredible vistas. A life-changing experience. Reason, alone, to spend time on some introspection.

I liked this video a lot. Hawaii here, and I've been to Auckland just once.
I love this video as well all the rest of them. Well? Regarding the song... It wasn't, Do you know the way to San Jose 😉
Lovely some places I haven't gone to,thanks for sharing love New Zealand.
Suggestion: Go to Mt Hikurangi its the first point in the counrtry (and world) that sees the sun

I hope you realise what the earthquake did to Chch!!
That initial dance just cracks me up so so much.
You drove thru where live, geraldine
Welcome to Auckland. You guys must be here during December, unfortunately we had one of the worst starts to summer in a long time. Bon Voyage.
