That is the same thing that we have been doing here on Lake Waco using the Danny King's, we can catch a 100 fish a day and only have four or five keepers. I love the Danny King's though. Great video
JT's All Outdoors typically If I have had been baiting the spot we would have had a limit quickly. But for the purpose of the video I just wanted to show that folks can pull up to a random spot and start catching fish. I may do another video after it’s been baited awhile to show the improvement of size. Thanks for watching
Hey Bill thanks for the comment. Yes sir it does attract larger fish especially if you fish the area regularly. When I bait a spot for several weeks it’s not uncommon to catch some fish in the 10 to 15 lb range.
ROBERT JOHNSON for this video I just picked a random stump to tie too. Just for the purpose of showing just how fast the chum brings the fish in. The more you do it the bigger the fish will get. Thanks for watching
I had some of that line that you would use for a trot line on them. It’s a braided nylon. Not sure what lb test it is. I hope that helps. Thank you for the comment 👍
If I were going to bait for good keeper sized catfish I would concentrate on 25 ft. The more chum you put in the area the more fish will come. Around a creek channel would be perfect. Good luck out there 👍
Kip Wright yes sir it is. I think it’s one of the best channel catfish lakes in the state although you couldn’t tell it by the size we were catching lol thanks for watching
I have been catching small channels on Fork all the time just like this video. In the spring, I catch bigger ones shallow. Where do the bigger ones go during summer, fall, and winter. Do they keep shallow or do they go deeper?
Actually it seems like the best depths for the larger channel cat is 28 to 30 ft. They will be suspended above that depth in the summer but will go down to feed on cubes or soured grain. Sometimes you will need to be several cranks of the bottom to really catch them. The more chum you put out the more fish will come.
PJ Jackson if the wind isn’t blowing very much I will use a 1/4 ounce weight and I always use a #6 treble hook. You can use a #4 but you will use more bait and not catch as many fish. Thank you for watching
Cousin Edo not promoting any lake just showing that you can dump some chum and have your kids or wife on some fish quickly. It’s all about the experience for those young uns. Thanks for watching
Bsjr 1988 if I have customers with me then yes I will spot lock away from any stumps to avoid hangups and also to keep someone else from being on your spot lol thanks for watching
Hey Adam thanks for your comment. Those cubes do attract blue catfish as well but you may catch more channels in the beginning. Let me know how it works out for you 👍

what kind of cord or line do you use on your jugs/floats? thanks

i fish in a river in south louisiana.. can i add range cubes fishing on the bank and catch on same day?? Or I have to keep throwing them out daily??
They will work on the same day and the fish will just get better the more days you fish. Thank you for watching and your comment 👍
You set up in open lake or is a cove better? What's the best depth to set up in? July August September...

Lately I’m catching more channel cat than crappie... and not on purpose lol. That lake is plum full of catfish...

Thanks for sharing. How do you decide what size weight to use? What size and type hook for the sticky bait?

Them little ones make pretty good cut bait. What kind of lake feature are you focusing on?

Nice 👍 do you anchor down or spot lock where you put down the chum?

We call them little ones squealer's they sure are some good eating
We get to keep them in the winter on a few surrounding lakes and they are definitely mighty fine eating 👍
My bad Christopher. I’m so used to nobody watching my catfish videos I replied to your comment as though it was about crappie lol 😂 😂
Are bluecats attracted also?
