So glad you are back making UA-cam videos! I have watched your old ones over and over again!

I've fixed up 4 old Singer machines and I do love the sound of the treadle. I find the old machines make the most beautiful straight stitches! Thanks for sharing.

Ooh - I hope this means we're going to get a bit of a "series" over the course of the year as you make different blocks on your machines. As I've seen these recent videos of yours come out I've clicked on them right away so I can see what you're doing next and listen to your lovely voice.
If you do anything as you go along like wind a bobbin or thread one up or - whatever - I love watching everything like that too. I love watching experienced people using the older sewing machines, I guess! :-) There are things I can learn just from watching that have become so natural to them they don't even think about it but I site here on my side of the screen going "Oh - so that's what that is for!" or "Oh, so that's what they mean in the book when they say XXX...".
Thank you so much for every video I make - each is a lovely gift.

I just watched an earlier video you had made on the Florence sewing machine using the tuck marker. I now know I now know what a mystery sewing machine attachment I have had but did not know where or even how to use it. It looks exactly like the one we used in that video. Thank you

I'd like to see a W&W 8 series that shows how to use the different glass feet and attachments.

Me too! After puzzling over just what the side-cut insert was used for, and still not totally sure, I looked around for some videos showing how these glass inserts were used and haven't found much information. I got to thinking I should do a video showing how to use them...maybe I can get around to doing that...but no promises. 🤭

I have a WW8 (serial number 566835) in that same cabinet, that is about the same age. YOurs has mcuh much better decals than mine, though.
I have a puzzlement over the bobbin holder assembly and case--it appears that mine if from a WW9, with locator finger on the case and a cutout at the top edge of the holder assembly in the machine. So it doesn't take the usual WW8 bobbin of the time, but rather that of a 9.
    Nice piecing, by the way!

I watched your earlier videos. I am especially interested in the National Two Spooler as I have one but cannot get the rhythm right. Thread breaks.

I assume you are talking about the treadling rhythm?? The best advice I can give on treadling is to place your feet diagonally on the pedal. I put my right foot on the right upper area, and usually my toes and ball of the left foot down in the corner of the left side of the pedal. This makes it less likely that you will accidentally go backwards while treadling and break thread. Also, if you are new to treadling, just practice a lot with the presser foot up and start and stop the threadling until you are really comfortable. I'm thinking of making a "how to treadle" video...there are some out there, but I can't find a really good one in my searches to recommend.
