I saw an episode here in the UK , it was based on the UK show, where they tried to fit a new toilet, the lady playing 'Olive' looked really weird with a funny wig & think glasses and teeth that stuck out, The US just played it for laughs whereas the UK version had some pathos & irony in it...

Canada got the original, but American TV(except cable)is as isolationist as Mainland Chinese TV.
