Couldnt stand the UK version, but enjoyed Julie Dawn Cole -- go grown-up Veruca Salt! Nice to see that people realize that even tho Americans ruin great UK shows, they do the same with ours. The UK version of That '70s Show was utter shit.
Frequently things funny in the US dont translate across the pond and vice versa. The ground breaking and definitive sit-com 'Steptoe and Son' was taken to the US as Sanford and Son, and sucked donkey Balls. The point about the US version of Married with Children was the fantastic casting - Ed O'Neill was perfect, as was Katey Sagal Christina Applegate and David Faustino.
