Tiny Rogues is a fantasy rogue-lite bullet-hell dungeon crawler with rpg elements. Build a new unique character each run and fight one monster-infested room after another! Discover unique weapons, collect magical items and level up to become more and more powerful!

There will probably be more patches without patch notes before release, I might tweak cost of meta progression a bit. Like you said, some people love to have it, some people hate it. The game is definitely beat-able without using any meta progression! Just wanted to mention that! Also, to the point of "this is Early Access and has more than some 1.0 versions" - I am kind of aware. This is the first commercial product I am releasing, so Early Access gives me a chance to go into it with "training wheels", also I have so many ideas for traits, weapons, stages and so on, I cannot wait to implement more stuff during Early Access!

I love how the game is so fast paced. Idk the technical term for it, but the fact that the screen is always centered on the character in like a camera-esque way because of the shakiness of it is so cool to see.
I made the dash very very forgiving, you have s during the dash and even for 0.25s or so after the dash. All of that so the player doesn't feel punished for dashing into attacks and so on. In mind mind it should provoke quick and risky gameplay!

The Archvale inspiration is the one that comes up the most to me when watching. The details on the bow/the sword animations, the dash, the end animation on rooms. Everything.

Archvale mastered polishing games, and I tried to take as much of the good stuff of Archvale as I could. To be honest, while playing Archvale multiple times, I always thought "man this would be so much better if it was a roguelike!" - so I guess I made that! Personal opinion though obviously, I respect Archvale for the path it took.

This has very much the same energy of Brotato. Just that the runs tend to be longer.
OMG this is dopamine injected straight in my brain, just enough of everything (Bullet Hell Dungeoncrawler RPG) while being super fast. insane!
I've loved watching, would love to see a mini-series on Tiny Rogues pre-release. Looks like almost every character was a dirt-cheap 50 souls (except the one you unlocked for 1000 and one more that was 500 souls).
I was looking for a game like Gungeon, and honestly I believe Gungeon is the peak of its kind. Thanks for this showcase.

It is very much inspired by ETG but also I googled like "fortress of death" and some metal album cover came up, check it out it's rad! The castle should resemble floor 10 and the different paths to it resemble how you take different paths in the game to get there!

The Pharaoh quotes Nasus from league "the cycle of life and death continues, we will live, they will die"
There are quite a few league of legends references in the game. There is a weapon inspired by Twisted Fate which on secondary action can switch between blue, red and yellow cards. There is a relic-crossbow which applies silver bolts like Vayne! I think there might be some more, but that's what stands out.

I love the feel of this game and the music takes me back to the golden age of RPGs. Would love to see you do a series on this. Admit it, this game is your jam. Undermine had meta progression and you played the heck out of that one.

Wow this looks amazing already. Difficult but fair, good telegraphing, cool bosses, lots of room for all kinds of enemies/items/skills. Looks like I know what I'll be busy with in 2 weeks when this gets to early access.

Oh my god! This game is already a classic! Looks incredibly well balanced, packed with options and therefore replayability and the items/upgrades are actually fun and interesting, not just "20% to that and 10% to that".

I don't mind heavy meta-progression IF the game holds up on its own if the meta is ignored. This one does completely! It's fast, it's fun, and it has a satisfying feel.

The game seems heavily inspired by monolith more than the others imo. The graphics and music, and even the way the character moves, the pace of the game. It's like I'm seeing monolith, but with a different gameplay

The energy saber is definitely referencing the fightsaber from gungeon! It looks identical and has a similar attack pattern.
ACTUALLY, this one time it is a combo of me looking through Terraria weapons, noticing their line of phaseblades (I think that's what they are called) and then remembering Nuclear Thrones energy sword. So, no intentional gungeon reference in the energy blade. :p

If they were to add an item for you it should be a blessing/background/starting perk which disables all the meta upgrades and gives something like +1 heart and +5 luck.
Thats a super good idea. Probably won't make it to launch but I will definitely implement something like this for the people like reto! Maybe a hard-mode? I'll think about it.

The game looks like a lot of fun, but sadly it doesn't sound like it. Specifically, I mean the background music sounds like someone is spam clicking a mouse. It was the gameplay and Reto's excitement that got me through the video.

Super fun game you should make a series
Some good stuff. I loved the bosses but the regular rooms felt a bit bland. A lot of the rewards did not seem that interesting like choosing between a key and a bomb. Rooms seemed really similar too. Could use more enemy variety and some hazards. Maybe some random events.
