    Is there this possibility: students purchase my course that lasts for 6 months for, let's say, $300. Then, when their course expires, they are denied access to the course until they decide to pay a monthly fee, but this time it would be a different amount, say $10 per month. So, I don't want them to be automatically charged every subsequent month after the initial 6-month course expires, but instead, they should extend the subscription at their own will. Of course, the price of $10 per month would only apply to those who have already purchased the $300 course. Is there such an option?

      Hi! Yes you could do this using 2 different prices on the bundle (one set up with the $300 and the other $10/month) and send out an email after the expiry date to invite the member to stay on at the $10/month rate. Set up the email in your email markeitng system in an automation so that it happens automatically. Hope that helps!

    When someone purchase a membership, are they paying a monthly subscription?

      Hi Rain, yes generally memberships are a monthly subscription, or you can offer an annual fee as well. Both are options.

    Can you go live in a membership in Thinkific?

    • @aletheatuitahi
      @aletheatuitahi  6 місяців тому

      Hi Louise, no unfortunately you can't go live inside a community, you can go live via Zoom plugin inside the course area, but it's pretty much just using Zoom. It's not like Facebook live.

    Can you customise the members site to make it look aesthetic?

      @@akashicmedicine yes you can. I’d recommend checking out superpowerups.com these are apps you can add to easily customise the inside and outside of the membership.

    What does it look like when someone actually purchases the membership and lands on the "courses page." I'd like to see how obvious it is for the paying members to navigate once they are logged in. I have healing recordings that I'd like to have in the paid membership space, they aren't courses. But it sounds like the only way I can offer them is to set them up as "courses." There isn't necessarily a "product" option where I can just upload videos. Everything needs to be built as a course. Am I understanding correctly? Could that be confusing for the members?

    • @aletheatuitahi
      @aletheatuitahi  Рік тому

      Hi! You are correct that the only way to have products in Thinkific is via Courses, but this is not confusing for members. When someone signs in they will see the different categories in a membership. I've done a quick screen recording here this is the standard thinkific dashboard : www.loom.com/share/b6b3b5091c3b4e1e8851b0b50a5a5604?sid=93f87069-4a76-4afc-8645-fc4edd03a8ef It's easy for people to navigate, so you'd have healing recordings in one course, then another course the other aspects you offer in your membership etc. You can change this layout by using SuperPowerUps and I have examples on my blog here: www.cloudxs.com.au/course/online-course-apps-improve-student-experience/ I hope that helps! :)

      @@aletheatuitahi Ok, I see ... Thank you! I'd like to schedule a consulting session with you. I'm on your site right now and there is nothing until tomorrow my time. However, I'm going out of town for a week. On the off-chance you see this comment and have any availability today (which would be your Monday morning - I'm in the US - so my Sunday evening), maybe we could connect. @@laurennechou3350 No they don't, you only pay the standard processing fees. You also don't need to withdraw the money, it's automatically scheduled to go to your bank account every 2 days through Thinkific Payments or Stripe. Hope that helps!
