  • This tutorial explains how to use ROS in a Webots simulation.
    A pioneer3at equipped with a Sick lidar is performing SLAM thanks to the gmapping ROS package. The sensors output and the map is visualized in Rviz.

    I wish there would be a way to use ROS parts as a library without depending on the non-portable behemoth.

    is there any updated tutorial about connection between ros-webots?

    i downloaded webots compressed version and cant seem to find the webots_ros folder in the directory "projects/languages/ros"

      Webots is now open-source, you can check the location of this folder on the Github project: github.com/omichel/webots/tree/revision/projects/languages/ros/webots_ros
