Man i gotta give it to my brotha hes the ONLY one that has gone this far in depth on the controls and their exact meaning and he done it soo nice n simplified. Im one whos used Tech.1200mk2 in the 90's and a Rane One and just returned the Rane four outta personal preference and reliability. Now i have the pioneer ddj-flx 10 coming today and am even more EXCITED. thanks and God bless and blessings to you and all my dj FAM out there.
This the best flex 10 breakdown i see so far good shit g
Thanks so much, just got my FLX10 & I’m coming from using a DDJ-SR. It’s a quantum leap, ur review was beyond helpful to get a handle on all of these features👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I like the tell and show demonstrations.
this info helped me make my decision... Thanks DJ
Best FLX10 Review! Keep up the excellent work!!!
🙏🏾🙏🏾 thank you man, appreciate that!
Really good videos thank you very much very informative. Really helping to reduce the fear of spending so much. Been djing for 10 year but this will be my first bit of pro quality gear...
More than welcome 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Very clear and detailed helpful information. You got a GIFT with this DJ shit bro
Appreciate that, honestly 🙌🏾
Great Job Bro
Appreciate you bro! 🙏🏾
dope review ✊😎
✊🏾✊🏾
support you bro! ;)
Appreciate you man!! 🙏🏾
great video ! But i do have one question....does it have the smart fader like the flex 4 ?
You can change the jog wheel display in Serato also not only Rekordbox*
💯💯 found out I had to hold opposed to tap the buttons to change em.
with the flx10 can you use the Serato effects?..the 1000srt don't do that
01:29 Hold Shift + Hold Page button to change Jogwheel display in Serato 🦾
Ahhh dope, thanks!
Nice review man :)
Guessing you prefer the Rane Four over this being a Serato guy?
Or the Rev 7?
Damn so much nice gear we so spoilt a the moment :)
Thanks man! 100% would take the Rane Four over the FLX10. I really like the Rev 7 so it’s a hard pick between that and the Rane Four but I might be leaning towards the Four. It’s just more fun to play with for me.
@@DJLiftOFF In the words of the late great Tupac "I ain't mad at cha" I'm a Traktor guy but, it looks like I am going to make a migration to either the Rane Four or FLX10. As I say that the Hercules Impulse T7 with the belt drive platters seems interesting but I know if the DJuiced software is stem compliant. I will await your review if you can your hands on one.
Hello please how can I automatically gain my tracks in serato to the same volume level
Hi I just get a new DDJ-FLX10 and the jogwheels rattle when I perform scratching motions. When performing backspins there is a scratchy sound. Some people says that's how they sound. Its my first time using mechanical jogs.?
Thanks
You’re welcome!
@DJLiftOFF this or the Rane 4?
Thanks, good rewiew! How do you think is it worth upgrading from ddj1000 not srt?
Thanks man! Ehhh, with the ability to map stems or just replace using sampler, etc, it’s not necessary unless you really want to use the part iso, or part instant doubles. It’s definitely more convenient for stems, but nothing too crazily different.
What kind of best laptop to use with the DDJ-FLX10
Good review on the FLX10. Now that you have some experience with the FLX10 in your own opinion is it a close competitor to the Rane Four? If you had to pick between the two to perform a gig which would you choose?
For me personally, the Rane four! There’s things I like from both of them such as the hardware FX on the flx10 are better for me, but I just more fun with the Rane four. Im also a huge fan of the paddle FX versus the dial-ish FX on pioneer controllers - never really liked em.
They’re both good. But the Rane four fits my style more.
Pioneer flex 10 are the jog wheels touch sensitive?
@@marvinwilliams8254 not overly sensitive, no.
Does it support rekordbox 5.8.7 coz I dont use version 6
is it true there is no mid bump on the tempo fader on the flx10? there was on the 1000
Yessir, that’s correct!
Ask Hercules to send you their new impulse t7 for rewiew. It looks interesting, first time I am interested in Hercules product.
Yessir, will be doing a review on the T7 for sure.
@DJ LiftOFF it will be awesome 👌 content
Hi can you telle me if the beat fx are automatically synchronised with the bpm of the software SERATO ?
Yes, it automatically syncs unless you manually change the bpm of the FX.
@@DJLiftOFF thanks for the answer because i had seen that on the ddj 1000 srt the bpm was not synchronized with serato at th first and that an update of the firmware fixed that. And with the pad fx the last fx seems dope it sounds like an old fx that was on scratch live rollout. What do you think abaout the quality of the fx as compared to a djm 900 nexus2. I want to upgrade to a pioneer controler mainly for the fx
Apparently you can't control Serato FX on the FLX10 unless you do some ad hoc midi mapping, which is far from ideal.
Serato FX is overlooked by many people. They just don't know how to make use of them.
@@thatchinaboi1 yes I know but I was talking about the hardware beat fx. You can't control the serato fx on the flx10
whats the difference between 1000srt platters and flx10 platters..which is better
I personally think the SRT platters were more responsive. On the FLX10 I used, my scratches dropped sometimes because the platter wasn’t detecting my quick movements which was extremely frustrating for me. However, it’s a good controller overall.
It may be just that you have to use more pressure as well.
Which platter feels better for scratching and beat juggling? Rane Four or FLX 10???
Even though I like the Rane four better, ima have to go with the FLX10. The Rane four is great for scratching too but the FLX10 has more grip and can be customized to your liking. Crossfader is butter too.
Give us this unit with the rev7 platters and build quality instead and we would have a clear winner for the perfect Dj controller
I understand that something you would want. But I don’t think that will ever happen. It will look too corky
Build quality on this could definitely be better 😩
So flex 10 or rane 4?
I would say Rane 4!
if pioneer had the cdj3000 platters and the s11 mixer in the middle with effect paddle shifters..flx10 could had been the best controller of all time..but pioneer is cheap
I agree that would have been dope as hell them cdj 3000 jog wheels are phenomenal!💯
i love ddj flx10 is cost 1600 $ and then i want so bad i cant afford
Yeaaa it’s definitely expensive. There are cheaper controllers that get the job done.
So is it worth it?
Honestly, I think unless you’re really looking to use specific features, it’s not much different than a DDJ1000/SRT. It has new features of course and FX, but for the price, you can just map things for stems and the other controllers still have good FX.
never and will not be a fan of the ddj 1000 range. it feels so toyish to me honestly.
Are you referring to just the feel of it in general - or the length?
@DJ LiftOFF no i mean the build materials and the faders and knobs. Compared to ddj sz or rx or xz
@@DeejayWilly oh yeah, that’s what I thought you meant. I can definitely agree. Feels cheap.
@DJ LiftOFF with that price range that pioneer costs them. I prefer adding some extra and get the pro controllers.
