Thanks for all the good information you put in this video. As I speak, I'm waiting for the same cabinet, along with the Gnome iPro 300. Looking forward to gigging with this combination. Also your bass has a great tone, clear or dirty.
Thank you so much for your support and compliments.
cool, i just bought the same rig...hopefully i dig it as much as you do but im sure i will !!! great video dude.
Thank you!!! I’m sure you will find great tone too. Feel free to keep me posted. Thank you for the support.
My mother's second name was Delfina, she has passed away, does it count as much as Kerry's King playlist of the day?! I don't know. Namastè.
Thank you for a very good review and demos! I need a smaller and lighter combo amp and the ELF 110 is near the top if not at the top of my list. It sounds a lot bigger than it's size on the UA-cam videos that I've seen so far!
Thank you. I’m glad you liked the review. I actually just bought an MXR M85 distortion pedal that arrived today. I will be doing a review of the pedal and how it reacts with the elf. Stay well
@@larrymartins3014 Have you had any issues with fan noise on your ELF combo like in this video? ua-cam.com/users/shortskcHISLTUYvQ
I have an Elf and 1x10 - they are very good. I have other amps including some big old Trace Elliot amps and cabs from the 90s. The Elf really does sound good and I use mine with a band - especially for rehearsals. And for home recording too.
That’s funny about the name plate being upside down!
Nice video review.
Thank you very much. Thank you for watching.
Can i use elf 1x10 on rehearsals with acoustic drums? Will it load enough? Which amp do you use?
@darkknight3879 truthfully these days all my work in studio work. The good thing about the elf is it can power larger cabs so if you are in a rehearsal space you may be able to use the elf with whatever cab they have at the space.
Thank you for watching and I appreciate your support.
i have one it's killer indeed - smaller gigs good - using Mark Bass Combo for mid sized stages. add 4X10 to MB for large stages. Played Ampeg SVT 8X10 etc... have a ton of experience. The ELF has great Tone. But the fan is loud.
I will admit, the fan is a bit loud. Thank you for watching.
I hope someone has already suggested to simply…spin the entire speaker grill 90°
…hence, the badge will be on the lower right corner. Freaking awesome.😉
Indeed I agree but of course o can say if only it was built right to start. Thank you for watching.
I used to sell Peavey back in the 1990’s and was recently surprised to learn that they (Peavey) purchased and now sell Trace Elliot Elf amps & Elf mini bass cabinets.
I do believe it’s manufactured in China!
dood...you want a TE V6.
You have the ONLY upside down plate on the planet
Thank you for watching and happy holidays. I think you are I have the custom version.
Knuckle head 🤣🤣🤣🤣 great amp
Thank you for watching.
The metal bassist community is the single most disappointing thing I've ever had to confront. like 1% of those guys are correct everyone else just doesn't know anything about anything when it comes to music theory or melody. I hope one day you get to play an old school TE fullstack, I know that's not the purpose of your video here- Im glad the little ELF line are available it's a shame TE isn't what they use to be... We need Clive Button back at the helm.
Hello and thank you for watching. I must say have not played a TE full stack. I have had the pleasure in the past ( a very long time ago 20 plus ago) of playing / owning Ampeg SVT and Yamaha head and cab as well as some other gear too. The Elf is good for me. As these days I’m all studio and not gigging anymore. ( never say die). For me I’m happy to get some decent bass sounds for recording, however improvements still need to be made on my end. Thank you so much for watching.
