  • This video is an initial walk through of the Trace Elliot Elf and I gotta say...I love this little thing. Its everything you can ask for in a ultra compact package. Trace Elliot is doing it right I'm just waiting for a bigger version. To come out... I might have to grab that one too.

    I'm looking at the ELF and the Warwick GNOME which is very similar. Thanks for the review

    I am contemplating on getting one. I currently have a Gallien Kruger Backline 600 but its old and very road worn. I need something smaller but i dont know if 200 watts will be enough for my Peavey Headliner 112 i have.

    It would be fun to try this through the 2x15, 2x12s and 4x8.

    Try having your gain a bit above your volume, it won’t heat up as much, at least mine doesn’t, let me know what you think, peace.

    which cab you say you used

    Hi Bully, are you still using/digging the elf amp?
    I'm new to bass, and have a 15' cab and a 400w head (traded/gifted) from a friend. But I was looking at this to be my first purchase/head. Do you think this into a 1x15 cab would be loud enough to start playing with a band?
    Thx

    • @BullyThaKidd
      @BullyThaKidd  4 роки тому

      No I don't especially if the cab is 8 ohms. The elf puts out 200 @4ohms and 130@8ohms.
      .. that's enough to practice edith a band but playing a show you would blow the little guy up

    • @MrNickynick52
      @MrNickynick52 4 роки тому

      Thanks for getting back to me. Do you think running the 1x10 and a 1x15 cab would be ok to unlock the 200w for some gigs and provide a better stage volume?

    • @BullyThaKidd
      @BullyThaKidd  4 роки тому

      @@MrNickynick52 the elf only has one output... so you have to get a cab that can handle chaining a second cab to it
