This boy got surrounded by a cop; even more police cars arrived for him. People wondered what the little boy had done to gather so many cops. and the reason was the badge he was wearing. It was his father's badge who was a cop and got killed on a job mission. And when it was time for him to go back to school, he had one request: He wanted a cop to walk him to school on his first day. But instead of one, 70 cops showed up to welcome him on behalf of his dad, even giving him special gifts. He dreamed of being an officer just like his father.

I know that they are part of police but nonetheless they are still entirely different, which is why I made the comment I made. It is more special than just officers

The army, the navy, the airforce are different divisions but still are apart of the military much like how the swat, officers, sheriff, detectives are all still police with different training.
To be clear, SWAT are standard police in most juristictions. They aren't geared up every day for a hostage situation or bank robbery, nor are they sitting at home waiting for those to happen. They're regular "officers" with extra training for the day it's needed. The gear doesn't make the man. They aren't as "entirely different," as you say.
It's the equivalent of a cop grabbing a shotty from the trunk, and all of a sudden, they're a "super" cop. Hell, SWAT doesn't even refer to the person, "Special Weapons and Tactics." If anyone knows that they're all equal, its the son of a dead officer.

I recently also lost my father in the line of duty. He was an AC at North Richland Hills Texas PD. Seeing others honored like this really warms my heart and I thank the creator.
No one is mentioning how much the boy is very respectful to his late father. Walking with his head lowered facing the ground. Well raised child, good job to his parents and sending them love and blessings.
