I don’t subscribe to channels in general but yours is totally worth it. Found it a couple of hours ago and been binging on the videos. I’m a PM in tech and was aware of these mind mapping and note-taking tools but wasn’t able to implement them well. But your way of mind mapping and note-taking gave me a proper structure that makes total sense to a visual person like me. Great video Sheng, When creating my presentations I usually use an outline. Would you see mind mapping as pre-step before the outline or more of a replacement, geared more for those who are visual thinkers? Mind maps seem to be an evolution of the old school flowchart.
Hey Jon, great question - I see mapping as a replacement to the outline because you can "linearize" your map using annotations (numbers for slides for example) so you can go directly from the mind map to the preso.

Yup! I actually did one on lecture mind mapping here: ua-cam.com/video/88tTj39jAdY/v-deo.html. It's not the quickest or easiest but it is the deepest way to learn.

iThoughtsX for the most part. I sometimes will use Mind Meister to collab real time with clients.
Needed to balance out my chaos, I write a lot of notes but get stuck or procrastinate in clearing it out to structure order! Also is pen and paper your go to? What about online mindmaps and your reasons why? Thanks!
