Great video! Exactly what I needed!
I went to change plugs and freaked out when I saw where the rear bank was. Watching you do it gave me the confidence I needed.

My deepest thanks to you sir!
You are my hero. This video saved me $1720. I had an engine misfire code come up, cylinder 1. In the back of course. I got a quote from my local Hyundai dealer service of....$2100 to replace all the spark plugs, all the coils, the PCV valve, intake gasket, clean throttle body and MAF. I could not believe how expensive it was. BUT...I found your video here and got the confidence to do this myself for $380 with all new OEM parts from Rock Auto. Took me over 4 hours but dang it...I DID IT!!!! Thanks to YOU!!! BTW, I found the source of the misfire which was a fouled spark plug and some water in the chamber from cleaning the engine. No matter, my 2008 is running in great shape now. No codes. GREAT VIDEO!!!

Hey! Great video, I wanted to do this service on my 2009 3.3L and as timing would have it, the knock sensor needs to be replaced now the check engine light is on. P0331 Knock Sensor 2 Circuit Range/Performance (Bank 2) is the code. Any advice or steps? Thanks

Hi! Unfortunately I don't have much experience with the knock sensor. Sorry.

This is a great video. I am getting ready to do the plugs on my g/f 2009 santa fe and this really helped! But one question for you. Where is the knock sensor on an 09 santa fe? Auto zone said she had tat code as well. I saw a video that said it was under the thermostat housing. Not sure if you can help me that would be great. Thanks and great video! Dave

Based on my research, the knock sensor on the 3.3 are mounted on top of the engine block between the two cylinder heads. There will be a lot of stripping of the engine to get to them...

Nice work, but please try to make videos shorter. 10-15 min is what viewers prefer. A lot of viewers look at length of video before clicking on it.

Not true, if you want something done right it takes time, not half assed and fast.

I prefer the long method because it gives an insight into your thought process since you've never worked on one of these engines. Keep up the good work!
