When i was using gel, i like that one. Now i use oil and water mixture and setting lotion. Oh and i used an aloe plant to retwist after i saw u do it. I liked it and for my loose texture hair it lasted til my next wash and retwist i did.

Hi I love your videos. I will be doing my clients hair with the lock extensions for the first time. I've never done lock extensions this will be my first attempt. I think I'm going to start off with this method because my clients hair is the same length and I love how you lock your clients hair without gel. I was sceptical about the gel but I get it now.

I got this bc I have been working out and have been sweating out my retwist really bad and can’t get to my loctitian for a month bc she super booked. It’s worked so far... even after my intense workout. I guess I didn’t realize it was a GEL... all I saw was “tight hold” and grabbed it bc I was desperate.

Now I'm starting all over again I had fake ass loctitian told me that my hair is to short to start ( excuses) my hair is the same length if not longer as you video model! Clockwise is the most common but it can be CCW too. Although, hard to see in ppl/adults with curly/kinky textures.

This product flakes like crazy. I used it for my son's locs and he had a head full of white flakes for days until I was forced to wash it.

Quite the contrary from my experience. My son has been locd for 8 months and I've used this product on him for at least half of his journey. Absolutely no flake up or build up from this product. I do oil his scalp before applying this product and only wahs/retwist every 2 months on average. I also use very little per application and only air dry...never use hair dryer or blow dryer.

Starter locks will shrink, unless re twisted and maintained regularly, so if you have long hair, let it mature and you should be able to style it

While washing? If so I've heard uhmm like stocking cap and wash through it (kinda like waves n durag) or braid n band. But if you're talking about not getting them wet in the shower at all then use an actual shower cap.
