Your songwriting is different, you take a different approach to things. I like that I don't get how you aren't famous, I mean you are but only because you played with knives which isn't right.
This song totally changed my perspective on the homeless. I cant imagine trying to get your life together when it may seem the only people who care about you are in the same position. If we would show them some compassion they could be rehabilitated from their problems.
TheKCarmine I remember, when i was like 8 I saw a guy who was about 17 or 18 the guy was struggling to buy food and all the cashiers and guards were yellin at him, i gave him all my ice cream money so the guy could eat..... man when i remember this i feel so fucking sad... world is fucking harsh and twisted. I hope he's doing well .. its been about 10+ years
TheKCarmine My dad had a horrible time before I was born he was in poverty and when I was like a kid about 10 he stopped by a homeless man and gave him 100 and the homeless man started to cry and we still weren't in a good position then
Rusty in 2011: I'm gonna make a song called Requim of the Crazies! Rusty in 2018: I'm gonna make a comic of the same name and of the same premise of a song I made 7 years ago!
I love this song immensely. You've told a very real story here in an extremely honest way. It's not common to see someone take this approach and it's extremely refreshing and enjoyable. Keep on playing and never stop.
Reminds me of my childhood home back in Oregon. I lived in this shitty apartment complex, with the street to the left and a parallel alleyway running past on the right. I remember walking down the alley past the homeless people who camped out back there on my way to the store or the bus stop. I didn't know it at the time, but me and my mom were a few hundred dollars from where those people where. That exposure to the less fortunate that early in my life helped shape me into a person who cared for those people, conscious and aware of them. Thanks for the memories of my old home, Rusty
What an excellent original song and awesome performance. I wish this kind of music was in the charts and not those overproduced songs we hear everywhere.
I've been a fan for two years and this is the first song I've heard from you. This is a new level of gospel music I've listened to. It's heavy but I like it. You should make a third album. God will it , thank you for exposing me to a new melody of chords - thanks
Nice version, a beautiful variation on your piano version, including the difference in using your voice. Curious how the full instrument version will sound.
I honestly love this version, it reminds me of more if your other songs like bone to pick, I prefer this version than the album version, it has more emotion in it
You are definitely right, but then again my answer is just 1 possibility of many. Lets just all agree that he is an amazing artisit and he should be recognized for it.
Great song my God it seems like you where really Into this song emotionally or you where really concentrating on getting It right, either way this song really hones In on the perspective that this man Is going through and it's really cool that you can tell these stories and walk Into someone's shoes like that.
Oh!! damn thanks for the recap buddy =) yea, i remember learning this in my freshman year, but i often get mixed up between christian and catholic because im not religious myself and dont really think about it =PPP but thanks for clearing it all jp for me =)
(Cont.) So as such it's unlikely that an atheist would become a big talent here because so many people would feel his beliefs are challenging or insulting their own. It's really a shame. If people could keep calm, rational, and reasonable about it he would probably be extremely popular. And since you're likely to ask or at least be curious... I used to be hard core christian, but now lie in the Agnostic camp between Atheism and Christianity. Sorry for the big text block just wanted to clarify.
bro, learn how to tap your foot on time
Hello rusty!

He wrote the comic ages ago but he's finishing it off now

Rusty in 2031: I’m gonna make a movie of the same name and premise of a comic I made 23 years ago.

You deserve to be a multimillionaire, I swear! Your stuff is so much better than a lot of what's on the radio these days.
7 years later he made a comic.
