This is a stepping stone to what Hendrick Motorsports has become today

Rick Hendrick has always seem to be the man that knew or knows exactly how to put something together and make it click, wether a race team or personnel in general. Everyone that I've talked to who knows or met Rick have said he is a very down to Earth, calm and collective man.

Owning a Sterling dealership was much more risky than driving a race car. There’s more Sterlings in that dealer footage than still exist in the world today

Dude that's pretty cool that Rick Hendrick raced a Cup race. Take that Joe Gibbs or Jack Roush 😁 😁 😁 😁 (though I think he was a drag racer back in the day).

Wayne Gapp and Jack Roush hence the Gapp n Roush pro/stock drag team from 1960's and 70"s out of Livonia, Mich. if memeory serves, it was roush building the motors and gapp driving the cars. All Fords, Mustangs and sometimes Mavericks and Pintos too.

Not mentioned was Rick Hendrick's near win in a NASCAR Southwest Tour race at Riverside. He was leading when a late race caution allowed another driver to jump the re-start for the win. Rick was no slouch at Riverside...

Another thing Rick had that Joe or Jack didn't have. Rick had a felony conviction.

I think Joe Gibbs drove some drag races back when he lived in car crazy San Diego which is where his coaching career started.

Rick Hendrick should pace himself and enter some races if he had more guts back in the 80s

He would have win that race if it weren't for the flat tires and bell house issues

Having likable and appearance of a humbled personality is not the same as having character and a moral compass. Most people don’t remember or really understand the ramifications of his felonious and deliberate actions that landed him in federal prison. By bribing Honda executives, he got a larger allotment of cars. That meant his competitors got fewer cars. By having fewer cars to sell, the value of their businesses declined.....and Rick was in full acquisition mode buying every family owned dealership he could find....and he was getting them at a deflated value that he caused.
The man is a crook. Stop ignoring the fact and kissing his a- -

Lol big pharma does this everyday with politicians and doctors and none of them are in jail. Some sore losers turned him into a Jew-attorney and tainted his legacy. Rick is the man
