I think the Spinosaurus got a model tweak. A lot of people mentioned the Spinosaurus leaned forward and now it doesn’t look like it does. It keeps it’s head up and stands taller than before. So why not give it a new exit animation for the new edited rig?
I’d love for the hostility toggle to have more options, like limit it to scavengers like compies or oviraptor or limit it to specific sizes like when you sort by size in the hatchery
Right! I feel like some of the smaller carnivores shouldn’t present a dangers to guests, but some of the larger herbivores should. Hopefully frontier will tweet in in future updates, maybe letting you choose by species instead of diet.
Can't wait! I love that they gave the Spino a new exiting animation! He sure deserves some love considering his skins are not the greatest. Also, I'm making a petition for Frontier to implement the TALL NUTS brush to the lagoon. Yes EVO, I'm bringing back this classic.
The spino got a new large carnivore kill animation as well, it now snaps the necks of other large carnivores like it did in jp3, also I think it isn't leaning forward as much as it used to. Glad to see spino get the love he deserves.
A neat way that you can bypass the amphitheater still saying San Diego, is to build a San Diego themed section of your park, maybe as a reference to the San Diego incident.

Lagoon viewing dome reminds me of subnautica multipurpose rooms, covered in windows and a glass roof, the way I usually set them up. If you're into survival games it has base building also and is my absolute favourite game, in 20+ years of gaming nothing has had me equally terrified and still interested in exploring further like subnautica has. Would love to see some new videos of subnautica experiences.
Whenever I see your builds, I am blown away. I have a lot of trouble making enclosures interesting, but yours are beautiful. Any tips for that kind of thing? Because I get bored coming up with ideas, lol. But I have so many ideas for this update and the new dlc, I'm so excited.

14:28 the best thing about this is it appears the humans are actually aware of the dinosaurs, looking at them and even waving at them, and 16:45 it looks like a conscious effort of the Spino to walk around them instead of trampling them
I just love that when Frontier runs out of ideas, they start adding the more popular mods. For example the damage tool was a mod for a few months now and they just add it to the game.
Another option for a walk through park, in grand Evo style, would be to make a small gap in the fence just wide enough for a path, then constrict the gap with planters and decorations until it is not wide enough for the dinosaurs to walk through it but will allow guest traffic. Not sure if this would work or not. Definitely not on the smaller species, but maybe on medium to large sized species. I’ll have to give it a try tomorrow. Until then, just a friendly suggestion for you. Hope Bo is recovering well!
Since you can make the entrance far away that means you could make a hidden lagoon that the guests can’t see. Maybe kind of like a hidden underground ocean
Instead of the FAVORITE option, they should have added ACTUAL 2D IMAGES of the skins INSIDE THE HATCHERY when you create them. It’s been years since they should have done that in JWE1. 2D image of the skin colors and an overlay image for the pattern. Not Rocket Science! It’s like Frontier doesn’t game test anything.
i would have liked it if they made the plesiosaurus get on the rock like the archelon like in old paleoart (even if it is'nt really the case for real life plesiosaurus)
I know this isn’t part of the update but I think the dunk should be able to jump over the fence and escape even though he will die after he jumps out because you can see he jumps higher then the fence when he jumps to get the shark so I think it would be cool
Hey Evo, I recently discovered a way to contain a goat without it moving, obviously just for decoration, but nevertheless cool. First, place a goat feeder, and as soon as the host moves, contain with 8 concrete barriers and then corner it so it can't move. Delete the rest, and you have a accurate goat feeder decoration. Enjoy!
Another way you can get guests to the petting zoo would be through using the park tour stations as "drop off" areas, similar to how you can use the park tours as transport
Can't wait to see your builds with the new Dinosaur Guest Hostility slider and the worn effect adder, Evo! As a console player myself, the Cosmetic Damage effect is a great help in making abandoned parks!
The only things this game needs are walking for pterosaurs, lagoon foliage and other customisation and a setting to turn off building damage so that dinosaurs and mainly weather cant damage buildings. I want to have extreme weather because its so cinematic but it destroys my parks :(

I really like the new damage tool! But I don't really like the fire and the smoke and the electric sparks on the buildings. It would be so cool if you use the damage tool, you don't get the fire, and so on. I hope they can change that. Then you can build a really abandoned park!
They should add lagoon biomes like seaweed fields and rocky areas and caves and different lagoon types eg:shallows,reefs,caverns to have more animal requirements to make lagoon creatures a bit more interesting and involved
What I really want to see for lagoons is shores. A small segment where land Dinos can go to the water and drink as well as have a chance of an interaction between our lagoon and land Dinos. Imagine a Para getting a drink only to be grabbed by a Mosa and pulled into the lagoon like an orca hunting a seal!
Love how to play unmodded and give creativity to console players like myself because we can’t mod which would make me frustrated at times because I saw the perfect baby olrotitan

If so please include a small section with anti social animations, I have noted only with two sauropods that dislike each other, the animation is like an angry look btw them and a grump or something like that, is not so spectacular but the animators include them and I wonder if there are more.
When it comes to behavior a lot of things always seemed odd to me, but I guess that's a general Jurassic Park/World problem. At least we can let the dinosaurs roam peacefully among humans now. And I can finally build my hand raised Indoraptor petting zoo.

Niiice. Randomizing favorite skins will make it less time consuming to get something like the Baryonyx trio from Camp Cretaceous, the Raptor Squad, or the Atrociraptor pack.
well he will pick the favorited skins *randomly*. So let's say you favorite the Atrociraptor pack skins and release four: you might end up with 3 ghosts and 1 panthera and none of the others.

I think frontier needs to add in underwater foliage and terrain editing, Like Kelp forest, Coral reefs, Jagged rocks, Bioluminescent Plants. Idea for Cross Lagoon/Land Traversal. Id love it if frontier added in a Lagoon "Attachment" like the banners but basically its a beach with no gates. The water gets shallow and it allows Dinos to go from swimming to land. Or even for things like the turtles or one day a sarco to sunbathe.
For the petting zoo, could you use planters to form a narrow entrance that guests can still go through? I don’t know how to describe it so il try it and let you know!

Be good if they grouped up as well and I'm really liking the Elasmosaurus and Kronosaurus social animations. Probably the reason Mosasaurs and Tylosaurus didn't get social animations is because their apexes and non social but they should have gotten a couple of hunting animations for land and water so they wasn't left out 😁💯👍👍
them being non-social isnt really a good reason because every single non-social dinosaur have their own social emotions regardless, not the mention there is a modification that makes them accept more of their kind

just had a potential idea for a video that could be interesting: what about trying a “reverse challenge” where you put everything on the easiest settings in challenge mode and also outline your own rules (for example needing at least x amount of species, at least one species that has a rating above x high number, having at least x amount of guest buildings, or having a species for every niche: lagoon, land, and aviary) you can make any rules you’d like that would normally make a good park BUT the reverse is you have to keep the park UNDER 1 star and meet all those rules while being on the easiest challenge settings. (easy high click title: my worst park ever?!) idk it sounded more interesting in my head but typing it out I’m not sure if it would be. (this thought came to me on no sleep and high deliriousness) anyways, thank you for all the great creative park builds and all your informative videos on the updates! I always enjoy your content and expert insight to the game!
I dont really mind thay the amphitheater says San Diego, im actually glad it still does because i can finally make Jurassic Park San Diego. I never completed a build for JP SD because I hated that it was in the desert.
They should do a dlc we’re we can get dna from the dinosaur fossils or from the dinosaurs in are park and we use that dna to make a hybrid and we could customize the features and apearince of the hybrid
Being able to mark your favorite skin is a huge W. I literally had to write down my favorite skins for each dino on paper cuz i always forgot and the icons are misleading.
There’s a way to allow guests to walk into a custom made enclosure without having to use monorails etc. if you use the walls from the 1993 update (fossil walls/doorway) you can use this to keep large dinosaurs enclosed whilst allowing guests to walk in and out easily
I just realized, it would be epic if Frontier add some kind of thing where the dinosaur exits from the hatchery and it isnt aware that the gate is opening, when it notices it opening it quickly turns its head and inspects its surroundings (like with the indominus crawl exit animation). This would fit perfectly with indominus. Only thing wrong with this is that they'd have to remove the trees or make an opening in front of the exit so it is visible. Edit: also yeah, spinosaurus got a model tweak and they improved its walk animation. and a new exit
For certain species you can also use the new JP Wall pieces to make a walk through enclosure but the dinos have to be larger than the gateway otherwise they can walk through it
The damage tool its so similar to one of the kai mods, but the difference is that it really damage all buildings, including fences and you can damage the dinosaurs as well XD

Being able to favorite skins and Randomize favorites means we can finally release the Raptor Squad together, and Buck and Doe as a duo
For the petting zoo you can use the Jp gate decoration and the banner decoration the guests can walk through but the dinos can’t
that's a great idea! Although keep in mind that "small" dinosaurs CAN walk under those gates and banners and escape.

I don't see why he would tho, since it would kill him. SOME fish do this, very rarely, but mostly they stay in the water, even when they CAN jump

Im going to make the singular worst challenge mode settings just to see how difficult and unfair it’s possible to make it.
it actually let's you know with a warning if you've made something SO difficult that it "might be impossible to complete"

@@observingeye9579 Understand your point but other then that I'm not sure why the reason for no Mosa or Tylo social animation, still perhaps they didn't count the gene that increases tolerant levels. 👨👍👍💯 or just leave it at that they were running out of time til release that's all I can say. 👍👍👨
just had a potential idea for a video that could be interesting: what about trying a “reverse challenge” where you put everything on the easiest settings in challenge mode and also outline your own rules (for example needing at least x amount of species, at least one species that has a rating above x high number, having at least x amount of guest buildings, or having a species for every niche: lagoon, land, and aviary) you can make any rules you’d like that would normally make a good park BUT the reverse is you have to keep the park UNDER 1 star and meet all those rules while being on the easiest challenge settings. (easy high click title: my worst park ever?!) idk it sounded more interesting in my head but typing it out I’m not sure if it would be. (this thought came to me on no sleep and high deliriousness) anyways, thank you for all the great creative park builds and all your informative videos on the updates! I always enjoy your content and expert insight to the game!
I really like that the Theathre says San Diego its like u have a reffenece to another country or place in ur park
Using the tour vehicle buildings and tracks would be an interesting way to make believable petting zoo connection points.
I dont really mind thay the amphitheater says San Diego, im actually glad it still does because i can finally make Jurassic Park San Diego. I never completed a build for JP SD because I hated that it was in the desert.

They should do a dlc we’re we can get dna from the dinosaur fossils or from the dinosaurs in are park and we use that dna to make a hybrid and we could customize the features and apearince of the hybrid
Being able to mark your favorite skin is a huge W. I literally had to write down my favorite skins for each dino on paper cuz i always forgot and the icons are misleading.

There’s a way to allow guests to walk into a custom made enclosure without having to use monorails etc. if you use the walls from the 1993 update (fossil walls/doorway) you can use this to keep large dinosaurs enclosed whilst allowing guests to walk in and out easily
I just realized, it would be epic if Frontier add some kind of thing where the dinosaur exits from the hatchery and it isnt aware that the gate is opening, when it notices it opening it quickly turns its head and inspects its surroundings (like with the indominus crawl exit animation). This would fit perfectly with indominus. Only thing wrong with this is that they'd have to remove the trees or make an opening in front of the exit so it is visible.
Edit: also yeah, spinosaurus got a model tweak and they improved its walk animation. and a new exit

For certain species you can also use the new JP Wall pieces to make a walk through enclosure but the dinos have to be larger than the gateway otherwise they can walk through it

The damage tool its so similar to one of the kai mods, but the difference is that it really damage all buildings, including fences and you can damage the dinosaurs as well XD
