As much as I love the new dinosaurs, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t just as happy that my sweet Allosaurus is finally getting the variant skins she deserved from the very beginning! The Brachi and Ptero variants are extremely good to have too!

I think the Automation can be VERY Useful for making star dinosaurs. You can constantly have a weak Dino released into say... A Rex enclosure, they fight, the weak one dies, the Rex's Combat Infamy rating rises and therefore its Main rating rises. And them, the hatchery releases another Dino, wash rinse repeat.
One of the things I love here is how the skins updated are mostly on base game animals. Now, you have the best stegosaur, medium pterosaur and sauropod just by buying the game. That Brachiosaurus looks so great that it basically makes Alamosaurus and Dominion Dreadnoughtus redundant outside of wanting more variety. Stegosaurus looks so vibrant and natural with some of those skins that it's nuts.
The Update is just as awesome as the DLC, so much we asked for and all done so well. Though I really wish Frontier would have guests actually sit on the chairs and benches, or at least spawn a random number already sitting when you place them. Guests tossing things into the trash bins would also be really nice. As an aside, the animals need more than one "feeding spot" on their bodies so that the predators can position themselves at different points and have several feeding at the same time depending on the sizes of the prey and predator, i.e. several raptors or three Allosaurs can feed on a sauropod at the same time.
The air lift option on the automation was something I was really concerned they wouldn’t do but I’m so glad they added that. My issue on site bs is my Dino’s never spreading out as much as I want to do I like being able to have a sort of pre set area for them
Really love having 2001 Brach skins back. The model really resembles Baylene from Disney’s Dinosaur to me so I’m delighted to get closer to having her in the game! The 2001 skins in JWE 1 also looked like Baylene, I do miss them and the JWE 1 movie variant Para skins
I love the new Frontier skins for the canon variants. Expecially the Stegosaurus, Pteranodon, and Brachiosaurus. The Battle at Big Rock Allosaurus skin looks so much better with skins and patterns. The hatchery automation mechanic looks interesting. Especially the fly to area instead of just gate release.
I love the idea of the autobays because we can literally make a habitat/safari where different Dinosaur species can roam together. And if they get hunted by a species and killed then the autobay will send out a new one. Its great.
I think automation might be really useful for big carnivore habitats... just have it automatically create a small herd of dryosaurus or something to make a constant food source for your big carnivore of choice. Definitely gonna do that in the tarbo habitat I've got planned on my current park.
I believe the flags at the start are themed around the different eras! Metal- Jurassic World, Wood- Jurassic Park, white metal- DFW/Biosyn The reason why some of the prebuilt levels are so barebone its because they are from challenge mode and its what you are supposed to use/salvage to get to 5 stars and I think the minimum populations for the automated hatchery its the minimum population for species for the social treshold The only thing I am still missing and wish Frontier adds eventually is a "No Panic" slider for Dinosaurs
This is by far the best free update. Fantastic new skins (finally I can ignore the JW Pteranodon and Stegosaurus forever), automatical hatcheries, BENCHES AND BINS! I haven't been this hyped to play the game in a while. Frontier's still got it.
I wonder if they’ll ever give us two models of triceratops. I really like the JP1 trikes, but they only come in one color. I tend to mix the variants to make one version the “cows” and the other the “bulls,” but they gave us the option in JWE1 and I’d like that back.
I am also happy that we're getting some colorful Sauropods more frequently. Dreadnoughtus and Alamosaurus are pretty dang colorful in their own right, IMO but I really dig they gave 2001 Brachiosaurus so much love in that department. While I don't really care much for the design itself, I do love the original coloration so it's good to see some more. Of course everything else in the free update is fantastic like the weather changing system and the new decorations (specialty the signs and fountains) but I'm really loving these new variations on older dinos; makes them more versatile and fun.

I love the update you could also make an actual bioactive/bio diversity in a habitat with the site b thing and you can imagine that there is a tour guide educating the guests and I love the skins

Pack hunting, even if only aesthetic, is the greatest thing possible i love it, does it work against humans is the question i wanna find the answer for though, imagine having different human hunting animations depending on the numbers
13:06, I think its the taiga maps that get snow, not the alpine ones, cause I tried on Canada and got snow, but in alpine maps I got rain. Great showcase tho, very helpful to see how all of the new stuff works before jumpin in myself
I think the only thing I’d want now is a version of Dominion’s ‘air control system’ (I don’t remember what it was called), the technology they used to keep flying reptiles from escaping the valley. That way we can have flying/land hybrid enclosures and the reptiles might not feel quite as claustrophobic. Someone might say it’d be hard to code but, just do what the invisible fences did, aviary dome collision that’s invisible/with a small model to show it’s there and possibly powered by a tower somewhere. It would probably be very jank if used on an unusually shaped enclosure, like if the way you placed the ‘air space’ is exactly like an aviary dome, but wouldn’t it be cool? c:
AMAZING! One of the best dino packs and updates I've seen to date! If they keep supporting this game, I hope they give the JP Raptor and JP III Ankylo models the same treatment as these variants. Such a hideous pattern for the base JW Raptor in my opinion. Great video as always, Path Lady! 💟

I love the allosaurus 2022 skin so I’m so excited to have it as a variant! A cool idea I had before this update was to have a Allosaurus 2022 as a male and a regular Allosaurus as a female which worked out really good. But I’m excited still really excited about this new update.
I wonder if there could be a way to connect the lagoon to shallow water or instead, if invisible lagoon fence could be added as an extension to the biosyn stuff. I wonder if they could make that work and what it would look like.
Now I will actually use a colorful movie variant instead of one fixed skin! They used to be so bland in color and the models themselves were the main focus, but now we can have both good looking and colorful Dinos. So happy that sauropods are getting a good skin and I can finally use them in tropical parks alongside other vibrant creatures, and at last pteranodon won’t get overshadowed by other flying reptiles. Very glad for this update, it’s definitely one of the best improvements they added to the game. Now for species viewer in the hatchery, editable lagoon terrain and lastly…. Microceratus!
Im really glad they made new variants for the allo, the dimorpho, pteranodon, brachio and stego... but i really wish they did the same with the trike 1993 and para 2022 skins. And also with the T.rex 65 MYA skin. That would have been alot better!
Your issue is the enclosure size as well as the comfort and gene mods. It's really when you have two large groups of competing carnivores and if the bonus is one being troodon then the hatchery might have some trouble. But size and comfort requirements being met i can see making the automated hatchery great. I been experimenting and my carnivores for the most part with the proper enclosures and proper balance of predator and prey. The dino loss is manageable though annoying on a pre auto hatchery level but this will make it easier from the looks of it even though i hate we cant have it pump out skin/variant specific dinos. I'll accept it.

It makes artic dimorphodons a lot easier to make, as something in a colder biome would have fur and be smaller.
Stegosaurus had the best glow-up imo

You could use the automated hatchery as a new feeder for carnivores if you get board of the old hatchery.

Would make more sense for the invisible fence to extend onto Pterosaurs. Furthermore, make it an optional setting.

Now I'd like to see visitors interact with decorations. But another custom animation moveset for say T-Rex would be a welcome one for the next update.

I've been critical of species packs, but I'm actually kinda hyped for Tarbosaurus and Utahraptor.
The sauropod curse thing has been lifted from the Brachi🎉🎉🎉
