This movie created “who done its” revitalized horror movies. At the time people were scared staying at home alone. They invented caller ID’s after this movie. This is a cult classic. Hope you enjoyed the movie… and don’t forget to set the alarm 👻
A lot of people like to poke fun at the mismatched friend groups in movies, but my highschool was like that. My group had the nerdy guy, the good-natured bodybuilder, the sporty jock, the foreign exchange student who doesnt speak english, the goth kid, then me. So, its real you guys.
I think a lot of people too when they're kids can stick with the same friend group as they grow up. The guys just seem to always pick on Randy, but I guess some friend groups are like that too
@@pineappleandlemon yeah. Unfortunately... i was the "prankster" back then and i cringe at a lot of the stuff i did. There was the kid we always picked on as well.
As 90’s and cliché as this movie seems today. I’m sure it was a breath of fresh air back then to not have a major studio horror movie that revolved around a supernatural killer or was a legacy movie. Even today as I watch it again I find myself still vining with light self-awareness and decent enough performances.
There's something to be said when a movie makes things the norm and then the tropes become cliché so when you circle back it feels more dated even though it started the trends. Just a fascinating concept
Hey thanks for the suggestion. A lot of jumps and edits is to avoid copyright issues with the footage. People seemed to not like when we did longer times about the movie in the past too. It's a balancing act, will be different for everyone

This movie did so much for setting the stage for horror movies to follow. Definitely always a great watch!
Caller ID already existed but was not common or popular.
Great reaction. Love your drawings.
Thank you so much! Always really appreciate hearing that

Great video. Something you might want to try is if you put "first time reaction" in the title you might get more views. Hope you do the sequels.
Thanks for the suggestion! It's always such a toss up since usually one of us has seen it

No offense, but this reaction feels so all over the place. I suggest less edits/jump cuts and more focusing on the movie.
