Get a motorcycle lift table or similar. Very easy to ruin your back if you work like that for many hours. I have lived with back pain for many years after i tried to weld a skidplate-linkage guard. I have raced motorcycles for 20 years but i hurt my back while working on it. I hope you can consider buying or building a lift table for your own health. Nice snowbike cant wait for a testrun video.
Thank you for your consideration, I must get something to make life easier. Not young longer niether. Sorry for your back. Yes, I am looking forward to test it !! BR Per
I was looking for someone building something like this. I'm thinking of building a track for my bike miself. Did you buy a whole snowmobile for those parts? Do you have a full parts list?
Hello, Benjamin ! The best and cheapest way to do it is to find a wrecked or a snowmobile with broken motor. Then you have all the pieces you need and can adjust it to your build. Only thing I can recommend is to find a snowmobile as new as possible then you can find new pieces on aftermarket. If you look into the Electric Snowmobile playlist you can find tip how to build your skid/boogie. BR Per
Hello, Soldy ! I just made some sketches and printed it on a PDF and then during the build I changed construction without making changes on the drawing. If I had drawings I would give you them for free. I think if you get the parts an lay them out like I did on a big piece of paper, things will work out for you. But I check what I got left of drawings. BR Per
Really nice work! I've been looking same kind of ski to my snowbike project and haven't found suitable yet. Where did you buy yours, it looks really good?
Hello, Tlm ! Mostly salvaged some parts from snowmobiles and some sprockets bearings etc. The most expensive part is the ski. I estimate about 500-600 USD. Br Per.
@@alexanderpotzelsberger3567 I haven't needed them so far, but this is a fourstroke engine soo it has some engine brake. Also driving in snow is heavy duty, stops almost direct if you stop twisting the throttle. No problem with some speed and a bump. BR Per
@@persteel i plan to make my owen track with cutting two motocross tires on the left and right side to keep the middle of the tire and steel the round stability. 2 modified tires together should be enough for 250 2 stroke
You're a maniac! Awesome work on all those projects! You're a powerhouse!
:-) Thank you, John ! I really enjoy building things ! BR Per
Nice, looks better than my diy snowmobile for sure

Very nice Per, is there any chance of buying any type of drawings of the build?

Can't find brakes
Hello, Alexander ! Who needs brakes ?? That's correct don't have any. BR Per

Yes four stroke explained it with the brakes. How can I forget that. Classic 2 stroke rider 😏
