Hi there. I have been inspired by your videos. I'm about to mirror your roof vent installation. Is your vent the 280 x 280mm or the larger 400 x 400mm please. I have seen the link to the mastic strips on ebay. Could you tell me the actual item so i can get the size/width of the roll please. Keep up the good work :)
@@TheCampervanBuilder Hi there. Sorry to be a pain but i want to try and get both the air vent and mastic at the same time. On Amazon it suggests a 19mm mastic strip. Do you know the width of the plastic base that sits on the van roof. Hope i explained this correct. Thanks in advance (total novice)
How would you make a bed base that would start from dashboard right across about 6.2", is it possiable a carpenter could make it? Sort of folding with hinges? If his clever? would appreciate your opinion?

Should undercoat the roof it would help preserve against further rust
I've already done a full rust repair to the roof and the whole van will be going in for new paint soon
What was the black stuff that you painted onto the cut out hole edging?

400mm skylight used, I think the mastic was either 25mm or 32mm wide

My bed build video is coming soon and that will be a bed big enough for someone 6'2 to sleep in with confort that might give you ideas
