well, I saw this knife on our video and used your code, I now own 6 of these, sent one to my son for his birthday, the Ambulo black and black. Going to pass more of these out for holidays and thank you gifts, love these knifes.
Hi, thanks for video! I've got W-1 as a gift for my order, and I use it as a secondary knife, with 440C steel and absolutely satisfied 👍 Das ist gut!!! 🇩🇪BTW my wife also likes it in a kitchen for harder tasks 😄 excellent grip and control! Take care, stay safe!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🏋️ Greetings from Lithuania 🇱🇹🫡
I have that in my cart. been eyeballing it. its not hollow it appears and with what you said about the tang I'll move it up. glad i saw your discount code. Preesh.
Looks like a good woods knife . People are negative to d2 but if it’s done right it’s an awesome steel imo . Most of them are if they’re done right with a good heat treat . Comparing steels is tricky because even the same steel can be different from knife or knife company to company . Great channel . I really like the content and you can throw a knife good 👍.
Thanks for the video. This knife looks great. I wish the website were in English. At this point in my life, I probably won't buy another survival knife, but this one would interest me if I were in that market.
@@411Outdoors 55 bucks shipped on Amazon right now. That’s pretty inexpensive for a knife like this. I’ve wondered about this myself. They seem to go out of their way to make a nice knife… maybe after they have a foothold in the market then raise their prices?
I ordered that knife via amazon, but out of the box it doesnt even stay in sheath at all. And there is grit, sandy junk inside sheath such the first time i put knife into sheath not only does knife totally fall out of sheath if even merely tilted as there is zero clicking in place and retention at all, there is also grit inside sheath that makes a crunchy sound and scratched the blade immediately upon inserting into and removing knife from its sheath. Total junk, returning it.
D2 and tough, are 2 words that don't match. Easily the most brittle steel in my collection and I have like 80 custom and semi custom knives and even more mass produced.
@@SirPraiseSun D2 tough? You don't know anything about steel then. It;s one of the least tough steels. Also mass produced D2, it's always mass produced, it won't be a custome level heat treatment, neither semi - custom.Sop, no matyter how "good" it was made, it's still a D2 man.. Why on Earth try to prove me wrong, when I just mentioned facts? D2 is what you get on the cheap lines of knives made in China, so give me a break...very old steel, huge particles and one of the most brittle steels I';ve ever experienced. Edge chips very easily, no matter how good the heat treatment is. and it's alwasy easier to break the blade, than almost any other steel out there. Get your facts right.
@@SirPraiseSun Forgot to mention, that it's also a pain to shapren and since it's not a tough steel, this is literally the last steel I'd choose on such a tool.
I have this Ambulo and the Hunter … perfect D2 😜✌️🔥🔥🔥🔥🍀🍀🍀🍀

Haha 💯
Great video as usual, dude. Rock on!
Thanks!
Nice blade shape.

Awesome! Glad to hear!
Great review !
Looks like a good product.
Saw your video and couldn't resist! Went and bought the Ambulo. Beautiful knife. Feels very substantial in the hand. Very sharp.
Awesome! Def a solid piece
Nice blade. Good video.

I like it.

Greetings! 🙂
Totally agree with you. D2 is a great steel (if it's the real one) for everyday use. And with a diamont stone quite easy to sharp.
Not grteat at all, for any hard use knife or big choppers nad this is botha hard use knife AND a chopper. The last steel I'd choose for such a blade.

@@Hungrybird474 thank you! That’s awesome!
👍
This is an awesome knife and I so wish I could get it in Canada☹️

I have heard the good and bad about D2 steel it is very good when the heat treat is spot on, but it’s not easy to work with
Ouuuu What a knife looking blade must add to my Christmas list. (Pun) intended. Thanks for sharing. XD
You bet!🙂👍
Although that being said that could be true with any steel
True 👍
D2 will really seperate the "sharpening", men from the boys. Hard to get right, but in my experience, it holds that edge.
Spot on
Yeah and how much is it, the price of a Ford Raptor?
Ha! Round 55 ish
I've been hearing about them for a while now. Why are their knives so cheap?
Prices very, for example this one’s a little more expensive. They’ve got some with a lower end steel thats more affordable

I hate to hear that. I’ll have to pass that feedback along.
Man id be rollling laughing if the blade😂 broke
Haha! Me too
I don't like it. Don't like the blade design and it's not scandi grind.
I know it’s not scandi and I’m assuming that’s what you’re looking for?

@@greekveteran2715 it’s always done well for me, but I guess it depends on how you use it
False, if its well made its tough, just like any steel for the most part the process and quality of how its made and how clean it is.

Have used D2 amongst my knives and have never really had an issue with any of them, not as great as other we have but pulls through easily.
