I like the way you use your compression tester hose to connect your Mighty Vac to the engine. I always grab the impulse line but this is another option. I wish there was an easy way to block off the exhaust side.
Appreciate ya sharing the build with us! She sure came out pretty. I been saying for awhile, I'm gonna pick up the next 394 part saw I see, but I dunno. Maybe I should just stick to my junkyard 395s. Haha
You'll find the right one. Just make sure it's complete and in decent cosmetic condition. Keep a keen eye out for Chinese knock-off parts. If there is one there's probably more.
@@richardflagg3084 Joe piper? Yeah I sold him some parts including that top cover. Nice....ok...phew. I was gonna be embarrassed as hell if I had previously gone through that saw lol
@@matthewolson8875 Maybe I should have been more clear in this and the previous two videos that this was a box of saw with a bucket of "hopefully some of this stuff can be used" rather than a saw you built.
@@matthewolson8875 No worries. The powerhead still had the original clutch on it, a million miles later. Wore slap out, just like the rest of it. NO ONE Ever worked on this saw.

Sometimes the best repair is to jack it up and run a new one under it.
Just put skinny snaps on .. for the skinny top cover
You have some? I can't bring myself to replace another part on this saw. LOL!!!! Send them to Joe if you have some. Please and thank you.
@@richardflagg3084 I think they are same as 262....I can check and see what I have
That's my sticker....did I built this one or do you have a top cover of mine?
This was Pipers' basket of joy.
