Very Strange House in Minecraft That I Did NOT Build...

Has anyone ever experienced this before? I took a portal out of the nether to explore in other parts of my world and I found a house on top of a mountain equipped with the following:
Chests full of materials and tools
crops growing
outside and inside lit up with torches
other projects outside that are still in progress
mining shafts - Ігри
I love how at this time the Nether is still mostly referred to as Hell.
Its because old versions biome name was "Hell"
If you looked at the old biome data it said hell. Even old servers like 2b2t will still refer it as "hell" if you press the F3 key.

I launched the exact Alpha version that this guy had, created a world and build tall wooden towers, deleted it and made another world, explored a massive radius around my world and then I found my towers from my old world in the new world.

It's weird seeing how the comments turned from "Omg Herobrine did it", to "He built it himself lmao", to (currently) "It's a chunk error that shows builds in a past version".

That's basically what Herobrine was about.
Well as others mentioned, this is some sort of bug with chunks being created on your world that come from your other worlds. I tested it on the same alpha version and had similar results. BUT the guy in the video mentions that he has never seen that place before. This leads me to believe that the bug also works if you have recently played on a server/multiplayer world. Wow this is actually creepy. There were many bugs with the chunk loading in alpha and now that makes sense as to why people thought herobrine was real at that time

Don’t know how multiplayer works in alpha, but if it’s like a free for all server where anyone can join to build, then how come it only took this build from the server?

I gotta say, that base is still pretty decent to this day, simple but effective for what it is. Bases incrusted in mountains or caves are still underrated
Right. It’s a very cozy style of early survival that you don’t see much anymore with current players, at least from what I’ve seen. Every time my friends and I start a new world nowadays, we still just default to digging the base out of a cliffside or mountain, instead of building it up from scratch.

@@CavittYeah agreed. Honestly I can't have fun with the game anymore. I've minmaxed so hard. I build the same couple houses every time, then just rush for diamonds and strip mine for iron and all that. I just can't seem to play the game how I used to and actually be creative and all. Sad!
If you can fit a bed, chest, furnace and crafting table in it, it's already a good base

From what i am seeing in the comments this is a bug due to the version he is using, but cna you imagine if this bug was refined and made into a feature?
Builds from other worlds of yours showing up as structures in new worlds, perhaps with some form of decay like vines and such. It would be such a neat way to connect your seperate playthroughs together.

I can confirm that this is a bug that happens on the version of alpha that he is playing on. Stuff from your deleted worlds will mash up into the world that is in the same save slot (Minecraft had slots for worlds back then) Something similar happened to me when massive chunks from one of my deleted worlds would appear in another world of mine, far from spawn. Basically, when your world is deleted, it is still there until overwritten by a new world, in this version of Minecraft, the worlds did not overwrite properly, which causes these chunk errors.

Problem is is the fact that he never built anything like this before he said. So maybe it was a multi-player version of that bug where you go to someone else's world and it glitches into yours
I can confirm that this is a chunk issue. I use amulet all the time to edit my saves, and if you don't properly place objects, chunks will get corrupted. You can tell when chunks are corrupted because a specific spot in your world looks perfectly cut into a cube like shape. Another world somehow got mixed in with his current world, but I'm not sure how, though.

back in beta 1.8.1 I deleted a world accidently and couldn't get it back, so I ended up creating a new world. I decided once I had the equipment, to go exploring and not set my home up close to the world spawnpoint. I traveled a long ways and ended up stumbling across a section of forest that looked familiar. I continued walking and noticed something in a desert beside the forest, I thought it may be one of the new villages they added in beta 1.8 but it seemed odd. after I reached it I noticed it was my house from the world I deleted with the chests and everything. I continued playing on that world. but when the original one got deleted I had a couple diamond tools so that sacked that I couldn't get those back. this was a similar situation I had, but the one in the video is creepier because it's something he didn't build.

Ahh.. 13 years later and I still remember this good ol' bug like it was yesterday. Yea this has something to do with multiplayer server worlds clashing with your singleplayer worlds. When multiplayer was released these bugs were bound to happen at some point. This video is a good example of what happens when something goes wrong with the Minecraft client itself and it starts pulling info from multiplayer servers and loading it into your singleplayer world. The client way back in this era had a mind of its own for sure which is why Notch was so fed up with fixing the bugs every time. Every bug he fixed a new one would pop up. Man this brings back memories!

I remember watching this video like 10 years ago. I think my brother found it and showed it too me and then we tried making portals in the nether to see if we could find the same place. I'm glad I found this video again. It reminded me of a lost old memory.
I noticed the dirt bridge that hadn't turned into grass blocks, meaning they were recently placed. Although it was most likely the chunk loading error that loads chunks from other worlds incorrectly into your world, really creepy the first time I saw this sort of thing happen.
The fire was also there, meaning that it hadnt even rained yet.

If I remember correctly, there was a glitch where worlds could merge. I don't remember much about it though.Perhaps this was one from a very old world of his that he didn't delete yet. Or maybe he had a friend/roommate/blood relative that played MC, and their world just happened to leak in.
There was never a glitch where worlds could merge... the code for world generation does not and has never had anything like that. It's an obvious fake.
This being a fake still doesn't explain the chunk errors. Such errors are not natural and could only be produced by a glitch, but there's no glitch I remember that can produce such an error, minus the farlands... and the farlands are... well... farlands.
The chunk errors are from version changes. When the world generation is updated, and you load new chunks beyond those you've loaded before, there'll be those chunk errors. I've seen them countless times before.
Except that has only happened to me 8 times, and that was because I was porting to Beta. Every time. It could be that it's just that I was unlucky or something, but I don't think it could be that either. Plus, why go through the effort of faking something like this anyways, what with you having to find a glitch and all.

I know what this is about, thats one of your older worlds you played. In the alpha version the game had a bug where when you spawn a new world, you spawn in one of your old worlds but just more far away. One time I deleted a world and made a new, I ran a good 200/300 blocks and than I saw the things i left there bevor I deleted the other world.

Something similar to this happened to my very first survival world and a random creative world I had. It was as if the creative world merged into my survival world… which was awful as I basically spawned armies of monsters everywhere and covered the trees in lava in my creative world lmao
OK guys for those of you who still think it is fake I want to clear this up a bit. First of all look at the version of the game - alpha 1.2.0 It is a very old version from back in 2010 (miss those times very much btw) back then at the edge of the map there was something called "the farlands" you can google it and see some pics. And well basically various strange things used to happen in the far lands mostly because it was a generation error and so on. And it sometimes (very rarely) happened so that your world would connect with someone else's at the farlands. And well if this is them it is very possible that his world connected to someone else's back then. So yeah there is a big possibility this is not fake. Also I remember watching this video when it was just released and someone did say in the comments back then that his brother or someone had built stuff exactly like this so yeah! Because unlike now of almost unlimited generation it used to connect your world to other worlds to sort of make the world bigger and the part where 2 worlds would connect are the far lands of course they are like VERY far away. But yeah rarely when 2 worlds connected sometimes existing player creations from other player worlds would appear in your world. I think that is what also caused the herobrine hoax since they saw player made things in places they have never been to before and well decided to make something out of it.

how i know its fake, he some how new where everything was and when you see chests in a place you just find, the reaction you would have is to see whats in the chests. he also stopped searching the chests on the right side just before the empty chests like he new they where empty. the flaming logs should have been gone long before he got there. also i feel like he light them considering he has a flint and steel that has been used atleast twice

There’s actually an easy explanation for this.
In Alpha Minecraft, there were only 5 worlds per computer, saved in folders World1 World2 World3 World4 World5. So when you deleted a world and recreated in the same slot, not all the files were deleted properly (maybe through a computer backup system or just a glitch) and some chunks were kept in the same world
That's what i thought but i still don't get why he doesn't seem to recognize that base at all. If say that was his older brother's world that he deleated and he's playing on his family computer i think he should still recognize it, but he doesn't act like so what so ever, that's what has me wondering the most

This isn't Herobrine. :) In old versions of Minecraft, instead of Farlands or the world not ending, a glitch wound happen where another player's singleplayer world would be merged with yours. Get Alpha v1.2.0 and explore. Eventually you will come across something you didn't build.

There is a huge amount of evidence this is fake. Firstly, he never gave us a seed of the world, so we can see it for ourselves. Secondly, he said many times he had been there with lots of evidence for that as well. But that doesn't make much sense as at 4:38 when he looks down the deep mine you said "What!? A cave system?". Why would he say that if you have already seen it? Further proving how fake the video is. Finally, in the version he is using (alpha v1.2.0_02), there is no trace of this build in its files, showing you have probably built it yourself. There is so much more evidence I can add as well but I'm not really bothered.
Funnily enough, stuff similar to this actually did happen in early versions of minecraft. There used to be a bug where cached save data would sometimes transfer over to other worlds, bringing ingame structures with them. So sometimes something you built in one world would randomly spawn in completely separate world.
So this video could have hypothetically been a real unstaged occurrence.
Somehow I still manage to stumble across this video even 10 years after I first discover it. I hope you've been doing well wherever you are, and hopefully you've made something just as iconic (if not more so) as this vid.

Ok this is going to sound really creepy but in minecraft I made a world and it was building the terrain and then it finished loading and I was walking and I bumped into a house and I saw treasure chest filled with iron ingot and other unusual things.But then I found a water fall and I KNEW there was a cave behind the water but I was SO DUMB that I actually when in then I was led to a CAVE and I knew it was a HEROBRINE CAVE and I got stuck so I tried to break blocks and all of a sudden silverfish came and attacked ME!
