- Walking through Michigan Central Station, we come to the Great Hall Main Lobby. Limestone columns, arches & pillars adorn this room. @michigancentraldetroit @ford
I just learned this morning that the Lego model of the Station was made by Chris Leach a Livonia Clarenceville alum. It will be on display through August 31, 2024. ⭐👍🏻
They did a terrific work!
Absolutely majestic in every way. Been what 9? years since they installed the windows. Clearly no expense has been spared. Detroit deserves every bit of this.
Newer, better windows were put in after Ford bought it from Matty Maroun....
@@wolfiethedog76 historically accurate I presume I didn’t know that thank you
..this was no easy task from every angle. While a chunk of the incentive is financial benefit, Ford easily could have looked the other way w/the project. It took a unique perspective from a big American, yes, American company, to invest company funds that could go directly to competitive marketing and product planning. An attitude more corporations need to present to make Americans proud of our rich history. Thank you, Ford Motor Car Company.
I'd LOVE to see that!!!!
Fantastico 👏🏻👏🏻
When do you think they'll bring trains back?
It's been repurposed into Ford's Corktown Campus HQ. There's no longer any tracks there. So, not for the foreseeable future.
@@FrankaiVideos-DetroitsComeback Are there any plans for new entertainment venues around Detroit? Maybe a new Boblo Island like amusement park perhaps?
Beautiful building, great job Frankie!
