Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Excellent instructional video! You have clearly explained what I have been being taught for months as a white belt! It just takes so long and so much practice, to remember all the moves in real time, and to make them work. Fortunately, it’s slowly coming together!
Great details on the prerequisites for the Kipping escape. I am trying to incorporate it into my game and I am able to hit it from time to time with so much ease but most often I just can’t seem to be able to create the space. I will focus on the hip out of knee aspect and my knee on their tail bone. Best video on this topic so far, thanks!!
A crossface without an underhook doesn’t mean anything, it is not to heavy and it slides right off. Actually crossface without underhook helps the knee elbow escape (top player crossfaces in the direction of the knee/elbow escape). Also, the moment you shove your partners leg between yours, the top player is now too far and their crossface can (and often will) become just an exposed arm
Wonderful video! Can you also do escaping side control?
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Amazing
What's stopping him from getting a crossface during the elbow escape?
