Thank you, best video for this. Took me 3 hours but I was very careful and forgot some bolts so had to take door panel off but well worth it!!!!
Thanks, instructions worked perfectly, found the handle on Ebay for $16 total time 1 1/2 hours including watching video. Only slip up, make sure the handle cable is seated before you put everything back together or else the handle wont work, minor 5 minute undo redo, elsewise everything came off and on fairly easily.

Great video! I would have liked to see the remainder of reinstalling the door panel, door camera, etc. Just as a precaution to not make it worse.

Very helpful! I must admit, idk if it was just mine but my door handle plastic piece was quite hard to get off. Other then that it was very easy to follow. Reconnecting the door handle itself would be nice to add but that’s okay. Thank you!

Why was it necessary to disassemble the entire door panel? Is it not possible to remove the piece without dismantling it?

I just followed the steps and replaced the handle successfully, but post to that, my keyfob is not unlocking the door, but it is locking perfectly. It's unlocking other doors. What could I have done wrong.
7:39 there are four screws. two long and two short. it's good to mark which is which because they are all the same diameter and you don't want to put a long screw back into a hole that a short screw came out of!

Video is good. I it help a lot. Unfortunately the electric part didn’t work after I finished all the Set up. I doble check the connections and still not working. Any ideas?

sorry I can't find the link for the new door handle cover clips , I broke mine
Followed the steps comnpletely...no issues until the end..None of the switches work. The divers window is stuck down. None of the other switches work.
Did you ever figure this out? Same thing happened to me
He left out the step where he reconnects the electrical harness back into the reinstalled control panel. It was inferred but if you forgot to do it, your window would be stuck

It's should be crime for BMW to design a panel that they already knew. The cheap material would melt on hot day. And make it inaccessible.

I did the passenger side the other day and it worked fine after reinstalling everything.
