I don't disagree with you, and you probably are right, but they have made-it that way to be soft at touch! of course, now you can say you didn't want that you prefer plastic! but when you buy a new premium car, you expect to be premium not cheap plastic :), don't get me wrong, I don't keep with them, but this is the truth.
Wonderful video. However, I have a question: is the tool that you use at 1:43 the same as the Amazon pliers you wrote in the description? If so, do you use them to simply exert pressure to the panel or do you aim for the plastic clip in one way or another? I tried to remove my F10's door panel with a simple plastic tool and it feels too tight, i don't want to break it haha. Thanks in advance.
Hello ,Yes, correct same tool , I use it to create pressure and depending sometimes I use it directly on the clips if they're stuck, or on panel between them....
@@MOvidiu Thank you for your response, It was really helpful. I would buy the pliers directly from the link, but It seems that they are not available in my country. Thanks anyways!
Yes it's common . but not because of cheap plastic, the plastics use by BMW are anything but not cheap , that handle have a rubber structure to be sensitive to touch , but because of some chemical's use to clean the car and most of the time from wet tissues , that rubber is affected . on paper and in laboratory testing some material used are better but in real life after years some are failing . I'm not affiliated with BMW to defend them , but this is the truth .
Good video. Just replaced my 2014 528i door pull. Was easier than I thought. No more sticky door handle!

Real Pro. Godd work!
Multumesc pentru tutorial, am comandat acuma un maner din asta si probabil il voi inlocui singur ca sa nu mai platesc cine stie ce sume 😄
I think this handle is the first one BMW made from reused garbage. I'm so happy now the full intereior of new BMWs made similar materials. 😀
