Thanks for sharing! I figured out another option to share. To me it appears the problem you found is that MSFS SU9 is not executing all or part of the exe.xml file. Prior to the update, I would always see the Honeycomb driver (AFC_Bridge.exe) running in Task Manager>Processes>Background processes after starting MSFS; not now.... This can potentially impact other add-ons that may be added to your exe.xml file (e.g. FS2Crew, VDGS, etc.). My "work around" is to link the Honeycomb driver (found at Community\AFC_Bridge\Bin\AFC_Bridge.exe) to my Task Bar. After starting up MSFS and not seeing it running in Task Manager, I just click the Task Bar link while in the Main Menu before loading my flight. This is frustrating just as you've said! Fortunately this process has worked for me so far too. That being said, I understand nothing in MSFS is foolproof! Thank you again for your great informational and educational productions!! Much appreciated!!

Thanks for sharing this information. It is the only thing that has worked for me. It is a pain to have to take this extra step to get the led lights working. But at least this works.
Hi Avantuur Light Railway! Yeah, it's a pain but at least works like you said! Check out the sticky comment above. That might save you a few steps as well. Cheers & Blue Skies!!
For me, the problem was that the previous addon above the AFCBridge in the EXE.XML didn't have a closing tag () so the AFCBridge was ignored at startup and was not being loaded. Once I added the closing tag to the prior addon (for me it was the FenixA320 Bootstrapper), AFCBridge loaded up with the sim as expected and the LEDs worked.
Hi Mike P, thank you for watching and for commenting. I have noticed since SU11, AFCBridge has almost automatically opened with the Sim without the workaround. It's not 100% of the time, but close. Again, thank you for watching and for commenting with the tip! Blue Skies!!

To be honest, I have flown XP12 but haven't ran it since it came out. @@SimFanatic Thank you so much for your reply “SF” ;) Back in the day, acquiring my CFI was quite a challenge. @SimFanatic Update: My LEDs (and LEDs only, no AP, HDG,NAV, etc., lights are inop.) have stayed on. I've updated the PMDG 737 and have since noticed some instability w/ MSFS crashes. 3 this weekend alone. I thought perhaps this was coinciding w/ the change to the exe.xml file. Hi Shannon, I have not. Although, I completely removed the AFC_Bridge directory and did a fresh install of the Honeycomb software. My experience with their support has been excellent. I had to return their Honeycomb Alpha since it had a bad potentiometer and they were quick to help me.
@@SimFanatic I already returned for full refund from Amazon as I was not getting anywhere with their tech support.
Idk you guys pay $280 for this thing and it's not working? what a piece of shit it is?
Lol, well Smolex, I'm sure Honeycomb and Asobo will get the LED issue resolved, hopefully, with SU10. There is an even easier fix submitted by a viewer that I pinned up above; essentially all one has to remember to do is start the software program for the Bravo after MSFS has loaded.
Cheers & Blue Skies!
@@SimFanatic and what about snapping wires after using reverse thrust?
They have a new model of the Bravo so hopefully any issue with that is resolved, not sure. I have never had that issue and I have the original/pre-order model. I still think it's the best deal out there for the price point.
@@SimFanatic I ordered Alpha 2 days ago and I'm still not sure about bravo I mean how do I know if this model what I buy is new or old lol
@@Voltomess Older models do not have the markings down at the levers and the white plastic is really white with the newer model.
Quick fix.... 10 minute video.
@@EZ8E Yeah, the fix is shorter than the video. Cheers!
@SimFanatic Just messing. I need to see if it applies to 2024. I noticed today my gear lights weren't working.
@@EZ8E All good buddy! Appreciate you watching. Happy holidays.
@SimFanatic Appreciate anyone making the platforms and Intergrations better. I'm on my way to a RL license.
@@EZ8E Congratulations! That is awesome. Good luck with everything.
May 2024, just bought this quadrant and downloaded the driver ANNNNNND no lights - so much money and so shabby!!
Hi there! Assume this is with MSFS? Please be sure when you are in the map view of MSFS, the file AFC_Bridge.exe is Emily in your list of processes. Cheers!
