9:25 If you want to learn Baltic language then you can choose only from Latvian or Lithuanian. (Estonian is not a Baltic language) I am Latvian 100%. I recommend Lithuanian for you to learn. It is a little bit harder than Latvian but they are still using old words which we Latvians replaced with English words. To me correct Latvian language sounds a lot older language than Lithuanian originally but Lithuanians did not replace their words with English words just to sound "Cooler"... Basically Learn Lithuanian to understand and Love Latvian language!
Just a tiny note about the languages: Estonia is generally considered a Baltic country, but Estonian is not a Baltic language. It's a Finno-Ugric language, closely related to Finnish (which I'm currently learning) and Hungarian, and completely unrelated to Latvian and Lithuanian, which are the only two surviving Baltic languages. I once I feel reasonably fluent in Finnish I might learn some Estonian, but I don't know if I'll ever learn Latvian or Lithuanian. 😅

Hi, there from Latvian historian. A lot of factual errors in video. Speaking about languages, then Latvian Latgalian dialect is even more authentic and older than Lithuanian. Estonian language is different language group. All tree modern languages aren't mutually intelligible. And Baltic Prussian language isn't dead language either.
