I need to write here, in my case if the passenger seat is occupied then it starts with this problem. I will check the fuses, after disconnect the battery to and reply. Great vid, I will look in your others also.
Hi I have a 2011 insignia I have put leather power seats before I had semi auto seats but the new ones are full auto but they don’t move Checked the fuse and connectors all ok Can I get help please
Most likely needs coding... so the module knows what seats are installed... this if the module you have can actually support those seats... Start by scan the car, and see what you are dealing with... Thank you for watching!
Gordie Bob Hi Have you watched the entire video? I have de powered the modules... let's say I have disconnected the battery... and reconnected again... As I said this worked this time as it seems that the problem was just some sort of glitch on the airbag system... anything else wouldn't work... Hope that helps....
I did remove all the fuses and replaced them ,and disconnected the positive lead on the battery ,but still the light is on ,,doing my head in lol ,,thanks anyway
seems a common issue with the insignia, spent last few hours pulling hair with opcom. hoping its this simple. have had times where the can bus has a hissy fit the. certain things stop working
@@LMAutoRepairs i cant communicate with the airbag ecu and the instruments on my vxr with delphi diagnostics for some reason, any idea what that could be.no warning lights or anything though.👍
Péter Kiss In this case was the Airbag module that was kinda crashed/frozen... so I removed the fuses that powers the airbag module and it worked... This does not necessarily means that your problem is going to be the same... I would advise you to have the car scanned first...
@@LMAutoRepairs you said in all the answers that you remove the fuse but in no answer you didn't specify witch number has this fuse so anyone can check... Write the fuse number because did in important...
Cable failure, typically where cables get moved like under the seat. Often hard to find. Can 'replace' cables to airbag with same specified resistor (another video) that way get true airbag light fading off to pass MOT. eBay premade resistors can be hit & miss, because you need the same resistance as those in your car (could measure with a multimeter but keep your head away)
Correct... however, I advise not to bodge safety systems... airbag, abs, etc... Will not be very pleasant if you have an accident and the only thing you have to save you is a resistor...🤔 Thank you for watching and for your comment!
I have exactly the same problem with a Corsa. Just a useless POS Vauxhall softwear issue. Tried fuse out and battery removal for 30 minutes. No Joy. I would say buy something else but they're all equally fucking useless. Just 'Cars'. I think I'll take it somewhere quiet and torch it.
which corsa model? I have the same trouble doe u0151 with a 2017 corsa e, how did you resolve? I tried pulling the fuse to the air bag module but it didn't work
@@cngmtb Sorry we had to resort to paying a twat to laptop it. It hasn't been back since. The damn things on it's way out. Six years is enough. Patience be fuk'd. But all cars are the same. Worth a fortune to buy, not worth a wank when you're selling them...because THEY'RE SHITE...😂

Hi. Which fuse did you change ?
I did not changed any fuses... have you watched the entire video?
I have essentially removed and restored the power to the module...
I just had a random idea to check the airbag fuse so I took it off and just put it back and It is working now.

Péter Kiss where is the airbag fuse I've had this airbag light come on today

What was the problem in the first place.
Probably a glitch with the module...
A power cycle/reboot bought it back to life...

It could be your scan tool... as everything is working OK...
Have you had the opportunity to try another tool?
Where can I find those cabels what I have to chack
