The basic tips to add mixed number is to change it into improper fractions and use the cross multiply and add the answers and multiply the denominator to denominator

Guys just times the whole number by denominator then keep the same denominator but instead add it to numerator. Then just either cancel them out then multiply or if you can’t just multiply. Trust me
