In world 4, you can perform a sequence break in the level Rolling-Ball Hall. You will need the elephant power-up to do this. You go to the wall that the giant spiking ball is supposed to break, then with your trunk you can shoot a ball onto the wall, then go down the pit. Now you have entered a "wonder area" without even using a wonder flower! The talking flowers even react to this, and question how you even made it there.
There's a secret that's really late game, but still wanted to mention it. If you equip the Sound Off badge you get for beating the badge challenge and go to a level with a really tall flagpole (I know the bull level in world 1 has one), you can hear an extended version of the flagpole slide that you hear after beating a level with the Sound Off Badge. It sounds pretty funny in my opinion.
I'm pretty sure certain talking flowers have dialogue if you go afk for a while. I specifically remember the one in the first level asking me if I was tired. Maybe it's the first talking flower in each level?
(SPOILERS kinda) In the level Hot Hot Hot! There is a secret cloud area higher in the stage with a purple flower, if you activate it and follow the glowing purple light back toward the start of the stage it will activate a door, if you enter the door it will be the normal level, just with the light background dark foreground effect enabled. This is referencing the sub zones in Super Mario Bros 2 activated by the red potion door

In The Midway Trial: Hop To It, there is a Wonder Hopycat that you need to chase throughout the level as it keeps jumping away when you get close. However, if you have the Invisibility Badge equipped, you can actually get the Wonder Flower early because it won’t see you jumping. You need to use a Power Up though. For some reason, this doesn’t work when he shows up at the beginning of the level, but the next time you see him you can kill him early.
2:10 You can use the pipe to go back up and try the wonder flower again without exiting the level. You're supposed to see the different dialogue the next time you fail
If you wear the invisibility badge when fighting Bowser Jr., he'll say something along the lines of, "I feel like someone's there, but I can't see them. Eh, probably Mario." This also works with a certain other boss, but he actually knows you're there, mocking you for thinking the badge would fool him.
If you start a new save file, you can see at the first part of the game, there are mushrooms in the background implying that you’re leaving the mushroom kingdom and entering the flower kingdom. I didn’t know this while on my first play through and thought it was an awesome attention to detail.
In Beware of the Rifts (World 5), if you repeatedly hit the POW Blocks during the Wonder Flower section, you can destroy some of the trees in the background.
I assume it's common knowledge that you can look up by pressing up, but did you know the character braces themselves when you hold Y without moving? You also can't look up while holding Y.
Fun fact, i just discovered that if you stick Yoshie's tough out at a wonder flower it looks kinds distorted. (At the moment, i can only confirm that it works in the first level).
I don't know if this was already suggested but, if you try to use yoshi in the level countdown to drop down where you find the melon piranha plants, you can eat the seeds (or the melon piranha plants) and spit seeds at enemies just like in yoshi's island when you eat a watermelon
The sproings ennemis are always seen when all characters and objects on screen are dark, for exemple in his home level "sproings in the twilight forest" this is a cool gameplay gimmick but a side effect is that we can't see how sproings look like whithout this dark effect, well actually in the level "the final test wonder gauntlet" we can see for a vert short period of time the sproings whithout the dark effect, they are brown and yellow, this is useless but i love this detail !
In world 6, the level with the spikes, there’s a roulette betweeen the wonder flower and a talking flower. If you choose the talking flower, a talking flower will appear with secret dialogue.
World 4 features purple snake enemies that hide in pots. These could be a throwback to Cobrats from Super Mario Bros. 2, which were snake enemies that similar jumped out of pipes to chase the player (or popped out to shoot bullets like the ones shot by Snifits)
I'll comment it again but enemies sit down and get mad when they get stuck in a one block gap or if they get blocked by objects You can easily make a goomba get stuck in the earliest level of the 2nd world
probably wont be for another few video since it's pretty late game but in the world 6 level Wavy Ride through the Magma Tube one of the blocks you have to hit shows either the wonder flower or a talking flower, it's pretty easy to get right so most people will hit the wonder flower and do the wonder effect but if you hit it while on the talking flower like i did without thinking, a talking flower will pop out and say LOOK AT ME I'M A WONDER FLOWER
Idk if this is already covered, already submitted, or well known, but the note blocks actually play whatever music that goes with the wonder effect a level has. Most notable in the fluff-puff peaks' castle and piranha plants on parade.
Another detail is if you use the invisibility badge in the level "light switch mansion" and hit the switch block and go to the light, you character can become visible (but if you get out of the light, your character will turn invisible again)
If you use the ! Block badge in the first level, if you hit the block with the propeller flower in it, if you go beyond the clouds there will be a series of ! Blocks leading up to one that if you hit it a secret vine will appear leading you to a secret area!
If you do shining falls levels again after 100%ing them, master poplin will say how he is proud to see you still training. I found this out when speed running levels for fun.
The dialogue of the flower is not only for that one in the Jump! Jump! Jump! level! First time I booted up the game and entered the first level, I AFK'd without moving at all and the flower said one of those lines shown in the video.
Remember when a lot of people thought Prince Florian's name was Prince Haru from the Mario animated series. Well if you listen closely to what Florian says, he says "Haru Haru" as his voice clips when you run out of lives.
In world 3 there's a level called "Midway Trial: Hop To It". Normally you get a wonder flower and turn into a hoppycat to fly up through the level, however, you can actually skip the wonder flower, but still continue down the wonder flower path (a sequence break of sorts) by using the bubble flower and midair spin badge to gain infinite height (it's incredibly hard and took me around 2 hours to fully complete). There's absolutely nothing of interest at the top, and the talking flowers that watch the fireworks are actually gone, however I think the infinite height exploit alone is pretty interesting, though it probably wasn't intended, considering there's nothing at the top.
Not sure if this has been covered but a cool animation happens when you stand on the edge of a platform. The character balances over the edge. Real nice animation.
In the level jump jump jump, you can go to the flower in the bottom area as drill Mario, and burrow underneath him. Every time you jump out, he will replay his dialog, treating you as if you went away. This might work with other flowers, but I’m not sure.
While messing around with Yoshi i noticed that you can eat a Melon Piranha Plant and then shoot seed just like in Yoshi's Island (it feels like they knew the reference and just rolled with it)
In the dolphin kick 2 and the final badge marathon dolphin kick the red talking flower usually says "focus...Take a breath" and underwater it says "focus...take a breath Wait maybe not we're underwater"
When you do the first wiggler race with friends and just stand there, the flowers say random stuff. I like this one because wiggler is just standing there.
Found out theres small box hidden in each level tells you what character you need in each level. For instance luigi will have a green box with a L, toad be either blue or pink for toadette and nibbet will be purple with his character on it
That's not what character you need, but every hidden block of this type corresponds to a specific character, where said character will be able to see the hidden block when they are close. It's the intended mechanic for completing the search party levels (rather than jump around aimlessly trying to hit the hidden blocks)
In world 3, level "the Sugarsar Trial: Across the Night Sky", near the end of the level, if you haven't taken the wonder flower two talking flowers will say: "I WONDER what there is to do." "yes i too, WONDER that" Just a bit of fun dialogue
In every Palace and Battleship stage, the song that plays during a Wonder uses the Mario theme, instead of any of Bowser's themes like you would expect.
when going into the scardie/scadlers thing level in pipe rock falls (its the 3rd level) the wired things that shoot you from behind can be blocked with the trunk but each time you do it gets faster and if you hit it 5 times you get some coins

Other flowers can do the random idle dialogue. I’m not sure why it didn’t work with other flowers but it can happen. In Fluff-Puff Peaks Canin, after beating Bowser Jr., the Talking Flower will yodel after going through the Poplin’s dialogue. This only happens with the English and Brazilian Portuguese voices, and the Brazilian Portuguese version is much better. Most other voices will say “Yoo-hoo!” or “Yahoo!” The Japanese voice says “ヤッホー” (Yahho~!) And the Russian voice... it’s better to experience it yourself.
I actually only recently found out what the HD rumble on the controllers are truely for and all this time I thought they just make weird sound they rumble but it's actually intended.

When you 100 percent Mario Wonder, the title screen changes. Also, some levels hav secret exits which lead you to Captain Toad. He will give you some Purple Coins.

Spoilers for Mario wonder so if you don’t want that than don’t click down So in high voltage gauntlet, the wonder effect is actually a callback to metal Mario from Super Mario 64. It even has the music to fit it with a very good remix.
In the Petey piranha stage in world one there is a secret poplin house you gotta get up to that hill what does a red pipe and then you gotta do a certain jump but when you beat the other flag pole, it doesn’t tell you that is 3 sends it only tells you that there’s 2 not 3. I hope that detail helps people to advance in the game

My favourite detail is the end of world 3 and how there's no extra modes so after you've beat the game there's nothing to do

Play as peach in the Bowser boss battle! He has different dialogue compared to anyone else!
If you start a boss fight with bowser jr or the bowser fight with the invisibility badge equipped, bowser and bowser jr will have different dialogue.

on Jump Jump Jump, even if u fall, u can go back up the pipe and start the race over again to get the wonder seed
With the sound off badge both yellow and purple coins have different sounds when you collect them

The talking flower at the start of the game(1-1) asks if your day dreaming if you AFK
