This kid is a beast. Just saw him on Thursday night (4/14/22) in Las Vegas with Skid Row and he won over the crowd. Myself included. The place went nuts and everyone was hyped and talking about him before the Scorpions came on. He is the real deal.

Erik! this is absolutely amazing. I just wanted to tell you a quick story if you don't mind. I am a caregiver for my father, he is disabled he has not been able to walk since I was about five years old (I am turning 30 in June) & he raised me by himself after my mother left when I was young. Music is something that we have always bonded over, and because he grew up in the 80's, I was for the most part raised around bands from the 70's and 80's. Skid Row has been one of my favorite bands since I was about seven or eight years old and he found H.E.A.T online a few years after you had joined and we were instantly hooked. Now seeing you overcome everything you have and becoming the lead singer of Skid Row has just made us so happy and we are so proud to see you killing it and I just wanted to say thank you for everything that you have done and will continue to do in the future. Keep up all the great work man, you deserve it so much. 😊🤘

There is no doubt in my mind you could release a killer album of "80's" rock. A great album of journey, survivor, tesla, guns n roses style material would be great with you on vocals. When it was announced that Erik is the new singer for Skid Row, I'd never heard of him. After hearing the new single and many other UA-cam videos of him performing with the band, it's clear he's the guy for the job. I always thought Johnny was a great singer and never thought any of the others fit the band at all. Erik does. Since then, I've seen video after video of him and this guy is amazing. I'm glad he landed the gig and very glad that Skid Row has a singer who can really bring it.

The original is the Mecca but there are a few versions, like this one, that meet it. Daughtry and Lizzy Hale also hit the mark. It’s a testament to the original that all these years later it’s still inspiring singers to test their vocals.
