Erik, I'm 50 years old and this is the music I grew up on. This along with Maiden, Metallica and basically everything you have covered here on your channel. I am one of those fans that never liked hearing people cover my favorite bands because it just never invoked the same feeling and/or energy as the actual original singers did in me. But you sir.....you are different. I am amazed at how well you do it. You are probably THE ONLY person who I enjoy listening to as yo sing some of my favorite songs. You're an amazing talent and thank you for bringing my 80's back to me!

Dreams is one of my favorite Van Halen songs. Erik killed it 🤘 I love his version. He signs it so well.
I don't know how I could have missed s fellow Swede - but I guess late is better than never.
His talent is just spectacular. He signs songs from my favorite signers: Dio, Bruce Dickinson, Tony Martin, ... All of them are spectacular and powerful singers but Erik does them all so well.

Dreams is one of her all time favorite songs, and she loved your version. It's inspiring for her to see another survivor, thriving after such a tremendous challenge. @ErikGronwallOfficial Thank you so much for replying, Erik! I read your message to my wife, and she literally had tears of happiness! You really are a hero to her! She had a relapse of A.L.L. in March, and just finished two rounds of T-Cell transplants. She is in remission again, and is scheduled for a bone marrow transplant around October. I haven't told her, but I have soundcheck tickets to see you and Skid Row at the end of this month in Dallas. I also have purchased a "Reborn" t-shirt (She will have a reborn date soon with our sons bone marrow☺️) and I got her the "Power" necklace. She really gets power from seeing you sing while both of you faced this challenge.

So good! I totally respect his decision to do the New Horizon metal stuff....But his voice was made for melodic rock/hard rock exactly like this (and HEAT) in my humble opinion. Either way, happy Erik is healthy and rocking again!

@@jensnordin1822 That confirm my statements, Skid Row is my favorite rock band of all time, and Eric is my favorite “new singer”. On my opinion he’s the only one that could replace Sebastian. I just watched the live video and he just needs a few more shows to find he’s place in the band. Sebastian was a beast on stage. Eric needs to incorporate that old school rock n’ roll vibe or he’s gonna look like Adam Levine singing in a pop band. For the first show it was great!

Hallo fra Norge!!! Dette er fantastisk. Jeg føler av og til at jeg er den eneste som virkelig ELSKER Van Hagar. Ikke noe negativt om DLR, men med Hagar i front så ble Van Halen et gigantisk band. Og din versjon av Dreams understreker kvaliteten på låtskrivingen til Van Halen i denne perioden. 1000 tomler opp!!!
