You seem to be referring to 'Why Pay Tax' in which Kika Markham is credited as Dolly. A quick Google reveals that quite a few people agree it's her in the Cornetto ad. I don't doubt it, except that she's quite well preserved for 40 here.
Peter Lewis, what a great announcer. This clip links up well with the one from the day before from Thames when Peter Marshall (another great announcer) introduces Dr. Strangelove as a tribute to Peter Sellers (too many Peters) after staring into space for about a minute. End Of Part One is terrific too.
Still waiting for Part Two - can't have End Of Part One without Part Two! My parents didn't like that programme - they struggled to understand the concept of democracy - one is more than any other number - had they ran for political office, they would have got in automatically - only needs one person to vote for them and they were elected!
1:44 *BUZZ!* Deviation, it's the wrong programme! "Oh Ant, you're trying so hard, I'll give you a bonus point because the audience enjoyed it, but you did interrupt Kenneth, so he gets a point for an incorrect challenge, and carries on with the subject 'Summer on ITV' for 36 seconds, starting... now."
Forty years ago this week. Very good tribute to Peter Sellers.
Lady in the Cornetto advert also starred in a Minder episode - where she played Dolly the widow of a local bookmaker who Terry took a fancy to.

I have to wonder.... what card went upwhen "End Of Part One" went to a commercial break?
I remember the French Atlantic Affair. Telly Savalas led the hijack team. Gripping stuff.
