I grew up in Bentonville and still live only 20 minutes away. It’s crazy to see it becoming a mountain biking Mecca. I used to have to drive 2 hours away to go ride trails that were basically just logging roads and hiking trails that allowed bikes. 😂
Local here! Great to see everyone making the trip up here. It’s a great town with even better trails. If you guys ever come back I’d definitely recommend talking to some of the locals, most of us are more than happy to help navigate the trails and show everyone the best spots!
Agreed, great town, even better trails. But ya I still felt like we barely skimmed the surface and I have a lot more to learn, definitely can’t wait to go back!
Enjoyed the vid, thanx. Thanx for adding the tip on e bikes. I actually bought mine at Phat Tire in Bentonville. So sick of the negativity towards them, I can’t even ride my favorite trail, run by the Forest Service, due the rule of no motorized vehicles. Hard to believe someone can’t differentiate between a motorcycle and e-bike, or refuse to. Maybe I should just move to Ark, I was blown away by this place.
Ya Bentonville is epic! Sorry you are having so much trouble finding places to shred on your ebike.... I think people are slowly coming around to them though.
live in fort smith AR, been a motorcross and quad racer since i was young young, recently really been into trail building and mtb in general, bought a nice bike, and now after watching this, gonna reserve an e bike for her at phat tire before we drive an hour there😂 great vid man, cant wait to go there for the first time. bout time NWA gets some cool stuff
I will be renting the e-bike next time. Hopefully I wont run into the dude bros who would undoubtably call me a puss hahah. This was a smart video, anyone who hasn't been here yet should check this out to know what to expect.
For sure! That would awesome! I am not sure we are going to make it out to NWA again this year but I'll definitely keep you in mind if we do, it would be great to have a local show us around.
Woww I loved this video!! It was so great to see the footage from your POV- so much shredding. I'll use the tips when we go back! Make more videos, Ryan!!
Ryan Drops and Shreds No. I am in central Missouri about 4 hours away, but we have a house on the Little Sugar trails in Bella Vista and I try to get down at least one weekend a month to ride.
@@bltbiking7448 Ohh nice, I wish I was 4 hours away. Have you been out to Shepard Mountain... or is it even open yet? I thinking of making the drive out there next year.
Ryan Drops and Shreds Shepard isn’t open yet. I think the target is next spring. From what I have seen, it is going to be a lot of fun. Ironton is probably 3 hour or so drive for me, so I will get down shortly after it opens.
Ohh ok. I saw some videos on it awhile and thought it was open now... well next spring you’re gonna some really awesome spots to ride in 4 hour radius. Hey one other question, we are going back to Bentonville in a few weeks, other than three places I mentioned where is your favorite spot to ride?
That's "Drop the Hammer" it's at Coler Mountain. From the hub at the top you take Cease and Desist down to where the Drop the Hammer section breaks off... you'll definitely see it.
If you are on Trail Forks it is called “Phase 1 Free Ride” It is in the middle of the Slaughter Pen trail system area and most people probably just refer to it as the “skills area”.... pretty cool area Feel free to subscribe.
Ryan Drops and Shreds. It was so fun it was also my first going to a bike park and I almost clear all the jumps it was so fun. Thank you for the trip I'll be going back there soon!

Would this be a trip that a 6 year old who just learned to ride a bike last summer would have fun on?
Hi! How is the weather down there in mid October ??
Right on. Got my van build just about done. This is 1 of the trips im taking no doubt. Thinking a couple weeks if not longer in the general area.
Dude that's awesome! And ya man you could easily spend a few weeks here and not get bored.

Haha thank you Taylor... I got more on the way!
I have an e-bike 29er, hard tail. Love XC riding. Are those trails mostly for downhiller’s
Say no to e-bikes......
Pedal like its the apocalypse...
Some of these trails will wear you out though....
nice vid man....
Great video! NWA is soooo much fun
Thanks, appreciate that. Do you live out there?

Haha thanks for watching!! Are you gonna be ok???
now only if bentonville wasnt 17 hours away
Haha I know what you mean... You’ll probably still think it’s worth it though!Where you from?
That was so good I looked up how far for me. 10.5 hrs. Ouch 🤕 probly not going to happen.
I love ebikes! There awesome!

I would also like to shred
What is the name of the trail you are riding @12:50

Low crime rate yes but most crimes are committed by the cops in arkansas
I mean that may be true but all I care about is that my bike doesn't get stolen...
Sup I'm going to day at 4:30 thank you
Kaleb that’s awesome! You’re gonna have a blast!

Kaleb Dude that’s so cool! I knew you’d have a blast, super happy for you man! What areas did you ride?
Ryan Drops and Shreds I road slaughter pin and a couple other areas I forgot what they were called.
Totally had to stop watching this once you mentioned an E Bike. Those trails aren't bad at all!
Sorry to hear that... but I have to ask why mentioning e-bikes put you off so much?
