Hate to say this, and definitely not trying to be negative, because I've been a fan since the Puffin on Blunts Sipping on Tanqueray b-Side....m but it's really nice to see Kurupt in a coherent, sober interview where he's articulating his experience. So many of his interviews over the years, he's been high or drunk and they weren't really that valuable. This is probably one of the best interviews I've seen from him. He was there from the beginning and has a wealth of knowledge, and I hope to see more of him.

It wasn’t really Dre’s fault cause I bet there’s a lot of unreleased songs that he’s done on Death Row and Aftermath, I hate when people say that Dre is slow, no he’s not, he got songs done but just won’t release them. Plus I read that Rage wouldn’t like some beats and shit so it wasn’t Dre’s fault. I read Rage didn’t want to rap on Afro Puffs cause the beat was too west coast; but Dre told her to stop complaining and get on it, Suge, Dre they loved it, Rage got mad that they released the song because she thought it was gonna ruin her career; but it became a hit. So it’s not Dre’s fault, that Rage was too picky with the beats instead of trusting Dre and just going along with it.

The chronic went at ruthless, Tim Dog, Uncle Luke, as well as others, tha dogg pound was dissing Bone Thugs, Biggie had their trailer shot up with the radio interview. Thursday, 22 December, 2022: Folks keep in mind I'm fifty years old. Rage "Afropuffs" came out when I was only 22yrs. old. . . As far as hip-hop is concerned that's an "eternity" ago, whew'. Very, very few people had cell phones, almost nobody had even heard of a "website" or had any type of computer whatsoever. Heck, even "beepers" weren't even popular at all back then. Gas was less than a dollar/gal. There was ZERO streaming anything, nothing. Everything was still analog NOT digital yet. There was NO PLAYSTATION or Xbox, it was still a Nintendo world with "game cartridges". Remember MP3's and Limewire, that wasn't even close to being out yet. For my slightly younger generation you have to keep in mind that putting out an entire album back then was TOTALLY dependent on your record company unlike today. I just wish some of the older artists being interviewed would shed a little more light about being an artist in the "analog era" versus today...

@@lmiko yeah right lmao. Shit happened at deathrow before and after pac lmfao. Deathrow had a hood/gang banger atmosphere. That's why Dr dre left. If it was all so good why did snoop leave afterwards? They didn't run deathrow like a record label and it cost them. It's just convenient for everyone to put it at pac feet now lol

Not sticking with Pac and losing in the end actually served her right!!! What did her smile at Pig at those Source Awards earn her??? It is snakes like those that everyone should avoid in their lives!!! Had she stuck with Death Row (YES I SAID DR NOT JUST PAC) she knows today that fan base would have boosted the sales of her album. Despite it coming out in ‘98 and Suge in jail, Death Row fans were still pushing the sales on there. Her album couldn’t even make gold. It served her right!!! And by the way LET THIS BE CLEAR: When Tupac joined Death Row, the beef between Suge and Puffy was already on!!! Big Jake had already been killed in Atlanta. So she was actually betraying Death Row with her actions not just Pac. I’m happy she ended up nowhere!!!! To hell with her!!!! She must know that Tupac people actually hate her!!!
