I def can relate to what he’s saying. We had a homie named “grimace” that hung around the set but he was from a different area that had a different clique of cats known as the “B.K” set. Granted, Grimace wasn’t a gang member, he was just affiliated with us. When things went left, we embraced him but me as the head leader had to let him know that If he wanted to be apart of this clique, he had to be jumped in. He agreed and homie got down ( he had mad squabbles!). Once it was all over and done, he was apart of the “McD’s” clique! Yeah, we were beefing with the B.K set.. however, it was more than a beef. RBX I like your interviews but we going to need more people about 2Pac getting jumped into the MOB. I am Art, I remembered Mob James saying Pac didn’t get initiated but they allow him to claim MOB because they liked and were fans of Pac. Art is going to need to get Napoleon or Mob James back on the show to verify that he did get initiated. I do know Pac was yelling MOB a lot on the All Eyez on Me record but no so much on the Makaveli album. Art you need to do a little more digging into this.
couldn't be true, this is the only time you've heard that,no way it happened unless RBX was the only person to jump him in. same with the he got raped crap,no way could a secret like that be kept
I seriously doubt he got jumped into the Bloods. He was MOB affiliated at the end, yes, but he wasn’t a Piru and I can’t imagine Tupac willingly getting beaten up to be down with someone. If that was the case, wouldn’t he had gotten jumped by the Crips too??? Makes no sense. I think they just welcomed him in.
This is the first I've heard of this assertion that he was initiated or 'jumped' in to MOB. He rolled for them though, on wax and that tragic night at the MGM.

I think the substance of what he is talking about is true but he is including Pac in that substance based on his experiences or his knowledge of himself or others, not based on true knowledge of events. However, he can be like so many others and just be talking so he can interject himself into the 2Pac narrative.
@@MrHowse-rt5bo Yes! You know, I don't know. Sometimes I think it was a good thing that Pac needed to go to DR and other times I think he should have waited a bit longer (though it was rough, I know), and (as we know now) Jimmy Iovine got the money together and they could have devised another story, or just did as a part of Pac's record label & say he got the bail money from his record sales, which he ultimately did pay for it & more. However, All Eyes On Me would not have been made as we know it, anyway, and Pac would not have had so many songs recorded due to the elaborate studio time he had with DR. So it is a hard thought, which was better, him going to DR or him finding another way, as he always had?
Art you gotta start challenging these people man. These Dogg Pound dudes are saying any damn thing on these interviews. RBX wasn’t no where near Death Row when Pac was there. Just like Kurupt had already left when Pac got shot. Now I’m starting to see what Reggie Wright is talking about. These DPG dudes are telling a few lies in these interviews. Tupac needed people around that weren't looking for something from him and that wasn't scared of him. Then maybe he would listen... But no one had the heart. Tupac had MOB tattooed on the back of his right arm as well. He said it's stood for Money, Organization, & Business.
Only 24 years old when he joined Death Row, growing up without his father, surrounded with Bloods and Crips, it’s hard not to get involved, feel peer pressure, try to improve something, get attention etc, even though he was just being loyal, no matter gang
It wasn't just loyalty, he was jumped into the blood Piru gang. He became one of them as well as getting involved with their business as a gang banger which he din't know much about, that unfortunately led to his demise at the age of 25.
Major contradictions here. RBX say Pac was ready to ride for the label, then say he was jumped in the MOB. Stop it with the foolishness; is it the record label or the gang!? I know the Outlawz, MOB James and plenty others don’t support this message. Some of these dudes be fronting like they liked Pac, but they really didn’t. Dude went from only being concerned with Daz and Snoop, to Dre and Warren; suddenly it was the “inmates… the Deathrow crew”, including Rage. Somehow Pac didn’t make the cut for the crew though. He seem jealous, and dudes like this don’t even deserve to be interviewed cause they want to rewrite history based on their emotions. They be willing to say anything. Those who had real luv for Pac paint a much more realistic pic of him in my opinion. The others that had zero love for him usually only point out the negative I remember one dude claimed he spit on fans etc now this guy says he got jumped into M.O.B. He definitely had his flaws but there are many other incidents that reveal his extreme loyalty to those he considered friends. Pac n Treach fighting gang members taking the gun charge for Biggie etc. I recall a story Napoleon told where he got out of the car in Cali and approached another car over something small in which Pac kinda scolded him about doing things like that in Cali so I'm sure he was aware of his surroundings. Prob wasn't hip to who Orlando n those guys were but in his mind I don't think it mattered ... Few ppl possess that type of loyalty which in this world of trifling acts amongst so called friends is pretty much a blessing and a curse. Some of us have been through similar things to a lesser extent and only time teaches you those valuable lessons according to how to redirect all of the negative energy. Unfortunately Pacs time ran out before he could encounter the next chapter of his life which was most likely more community based leadership and overall peace with the Death Row East venture etc

RBX had left Deathrow way before 2pac got there. He really doesn't have firsthand knowlege of what 2pac was on. That being said, neither do I but I don't believe the Pirus jumped him on. Instead he was embraced, basically walked on by the ones that wanted him in their set for whatever reasons. It was his downfall, they were moving reckless. 2pac should have NEVER been the one to go press any of the Mob's opps. He the artist, THEY'RE the gang.
Ok I get your point to a certain degree but even though RBX wasn’t around (as you weren’t 😒) he was still connected with many individuals that were on Death Row (the record label he was once signed to) so in reality how valid is your point? 🤷🏾♂️

I’ve watched a bunch of videos over the years and seen that the point a lot of the interviewees make goes over peoples heads. Regardless of how brave and how much heart Pac had, or how loyal he was etc… at the end of the day, he wasn’t a gangster and to the people who live that life, as in the real gang bangers rappers and musicians etc… are considered clowns and cash cows, people to be used for they money and status, there is no scenario where an up coming heavy hitter like Orlando was ever going to let Pac live after he jumped him. Because if he had of let that shit slide you best believe he would suffer with his life on the streets. If some of the mob people had of jumped him, he would of took the beating and been like “cool, next time I catch one off y’all slipping you can expect the same” and would of moved on, but that ain’t finna happen with no rapper, regardless of how many times you see titles like “only rapper respected by the so and so etc…” it’s all bs. That’s just how it is, and for some reason when you say that it hurts peoples feelings, even though that isn’t a diss at pac or any other rapper. It’s a shame because Pac was a very talented musician and actor and only god knows where he would be if he didn’t get involved in that stupidness.
People like to pretend Pac was some godlike genius then act like he needed to be schooled on not joining a gang. He knew what he was doing and he wanted to be cool like a young fool.

“They wanna know if I claim the click that I’m hangin wit and if I’m down with this bangin shit well homie I don’t give a f$ck if you blood or cuz long as you got love for thugs.” That’s from “Fuck The World” from the “Me Against The World” album. Tupac did what he had to do to survive. He wasn’t a gang banger. His whole entire mindset was set on survival in a world of war that he didn’t wanna be in. A lot of dudes grow up in that war from birth. It’s all they know. Tupac grew up in a more sophisticated war between an organized gang (The Black Panthers) and the government. That was a tough enough battle. Moving to California with outrageous black on black gang war helped create a confused young black man. The Black Panthers were fighting back against white supremacy. Black crips and bloods were fighting against each other. When he got shot in New York that took him over the top. All he could do was do what he had to do to survive in the jungle.
Nah by the sounds of it at the end he's just assuming cause Pac was shouting MOB. I don't believe he got jumped in; he was just cool with them through Deathrow/Suge etc. That's my take on it from everything I've read and heard all these years anyway.
Once suge signs you let alone bail you out, you better rep one side or the other within the death row circle or you’re auto enrolled as a blood by default Im sure
I really think 2pac estate and family really try to distance Pac from MOB Piru. Suge has made it clear in past interviews what 2pac meant when he was yelling out MOB and getting it tattooed.

People like to pretend Pac was some godlike genius then act like he needed to be schooled on not joining a gang. He knew what he was doing and he wanted to be cool like a young fool.
That sums it all up there..
Pac Was A Fool For Putting Himself Around Fools But Like He Said Let Me Live
Well said
Pac knew what he was doing when he joined Piru
I’m from Oakland, we always said blood and cuz, for the longest but never any gang relation. We NEVER EVER had bloods and crips in the Town!!!💯💯💯
That ish is💯... Take that for what it worth, real talk
There's a few pictures got leaked somehow with 2pac throwing up Blood hand signs, his family didn't want that out because they wanted 2pac fans to remember him as a artist and revolutionary
@@ZYaKnoe249 here we go, n%gga I don't have no fking pictures from probably 14 years ago. The sh%t was in a small paper book , that I only pick the book up because it had 2pac name on it. I stood there about 10 minutes kinda glancing and reading a little.
At that time I thought everyone knew he was a Blood. 🤷♂️
Talking to someone who was around at that time, they said the only artist they never saw get bullied by Suge was Tray Dee and RBX...
I wasn't there, so I can say what was what, but I can definitely believe it 😂
Need more rbx interviews
There is some serious information in this video. Definitely worth watching a few more times. Much respect to Da X!
👑 tupac 👑 was in LA in 1991!!!
I just know pac was a pure spirit/soul
I’m on record in other threads taking up for Pac that he didn’t die “gang banging” but just being loyal to who he was around at the time. But if he actually got jumped in, then that was stupid and yeah he technically died gang banging. That’s IF, cuz I’ve never heard anybody else say this. I remember being that age and being down for the homies and I had homies that was claiming but I wasn’t about to claim Crip or Blood just cuz they did. It was just if the homie got beef, I got beef. But I can’t comprehend joining a gang in your 20s that you wasn’t already affiliated with🤦🏾♂️.
Lastly frank said he wasnt & mob james said he was never a real member.if he got jumped mob james would know🤷
I’m not sure why you have defended someone you didn’t know and something you knew nothing about.
You believe everything you hear. The guy is just making an assumption that he was jumped. He wasn't there. He said, "You can't say MOB if you ain't MOB." Until he describes the details and can say he saw Pac get jumped in with his own eyes, he's just speculating.
@Supreme Victory Mob James is a snitch so I would take everything he saying with a grain of salt 🧂 His brother Bountry was solid but James isn't
@@elchurro7540 snitch or not he knows if pac was initiated.thats my only point.he often said pac wasnt an official member long before rbx said he was.james had nothing to lose or gain by saying that.he was there we wasnt.
Rbx is so underrated
rbx is right on, facts only
Pac died prematurely but he died for being loyal. The way some people make it seem is like he died for something stupid. Loyalty to the next person isn’t as important as it to the other. If you not down to die over loyalty how can you even give an opinion like you can relate
Nobody dies prematurely God don't make mistakes it's a time for everyone .
👏👏👏✌
If Tupac got jumped in the bloods it was unwillingly because Tupac was always about money none of the b/s
Lmaoo wtf are you talking about ? He had no idea what was going on in his contracts, suge paid them In jewelry and cars lol
@@6thbr871 get out lame we ain't talking about that
He rite 💯💯💯 RIP PAC 🙏🏽
Nah by the sounds of it at the end he's just assuming cause Pac was shouting MOB. I don't believe he got jumped in; he was just cool with them through Deathrow/Suge etc. That's my take on it from everything I've read and heard all these years anyway.
Once suge signs you let alone bail you out, you better rep one side or the other within the death row circle or you’re auto enrolled as a blood by default Im sure
God damnn
I really think 2pac estate and family really try to distance Pac from MOB Piru. Suge has made it clear in past interviews what 2pac meant when he was yelling out MOB and getting it tattooed.
Damn! I never knew PAC got courted in MOB. For him to be cut from that Panther cloth that was kind of backwards move. RIP PAC
Dang Pac I didn't know that! So that's why Mack10 protected him when he got locked up!!
