re: sending out vids, are you sending your IG post them or actual video file? not fond of sending master edit out, for everyone always seems to forget to add credit line/collab/tag etc ... appreciate any thoughts on this, thx!
Just seen this video. Pretty cool explanation, easy to learn break down, step by step process. I like it. Just had a question, think you can maybe make a video on how you started or where you started. Or instead answer this question I have. Did you start by, one day buying and learning your camera, Buying ticket to a show around you as well as knowing the scene there would be lit so you just go in and around the concert & record the way you explained here. Then later after that, edit the video& just upload it to your platforms of sorts? Longest question ever I know but if you could reply that would be cool. Peace brotha
How to shoot all of this stuff alone? How to shoot different angles? If I change my position, i miss part of performance. Track usually is about 2 minutes. How should i catch all of it? Please, answer me because I'm getting my first live shot next month.
Hey man! Great question. You don’t need to capture the entire performance from start to finish. Rather key parts of the performance to piece together later in the edit. I’d focus on catching only one song in its entirety to use in the edit. Everything else will just be b-roll, so you don’t have to worry about missing parts of it while changing angles.
You had me at “do it or don’t, I don’t really care” 😩🖤
Thanks for this! I’m shooting a Gibbs show in a couple of weeks and I’m really trying to show out.
Great video I’m glad I found you! Tryin to shoot my first concert in a couple weeks
