i have been watching reviews and all the ones i saw have been throwing the water and washing the parts in the kitchen sink. i would never do that. before i had a proper laundry room and utility sink i used the bathtub. but throw the water in the toilet. i can’t believe people think that is ok.
Love your video!! Especially you already use it for 8 months so you can give a really honest and relatable review. I just ordered mine yesterday and can’t wait to use it. So thank you!! Also may I say that Mam, your house is a dream 😍😍. Much love from Indonesia 🙋🏻♀️🙋🏻♀️
Thank you so much! I have the original base model and my mom visited me this weekend and she loved it and mentioned she’d love one, so i’m going to surprise her with this new model. (My main problem with the base model is the tiny water tanks, and short battery life) so you answered the main questions i have. Also you have a more rustic type of tile, which my mom also has..most reviews involve exclusively hardwood floor or smooth tile.. i can now trust that my mom wont struggle with her type of tile floors. Thank you again :)
Hope it is working out well for your mom. We are still using ours and has given us no issues. I thought that I would have to replace the rollers by now, but they seem to be working fine.
Great review. I have the Tineco Floor One S3 model. On my hard surface floor I've tried the Tineco solution which is "ok" for cleaning, but I've found that using a combination of 1/3 "Scrubbing Bubbles" bathroom grime fighter cleaner and 2/3 hot water does a better job. Floors look noticeably cleaner. Dirty water tank does fill up faster though due to the suds, but its easy to quickly empty and put back onto the machine.
Try Fabuloso! Your entire house will smell amazing. Again… like you said…. Mix a small ratio of product to water but If we get a bad area I may try out your bubbles idea! Thanks for the tip!
@@TheHappyHootieThank you for that tip! I don’t own this machine, but I do mop with Fabuloso and it is the best thing to clean my tile well. If I can combine it with this machine, that’s even better!
The s5 steam version is not only cheaper, it doesn't need any cleaning solution! It only runs on water, the steam sanitizes the floor. It's corded though which can be a pro or con depending on what you want. If you want to clean without having to worry about recharging, definitely go with the steam! You can clean as long as you want,
The toe space under cabinets is typically 4", so I would think most vacuums would have troubles getting under the ones you are demonstrating with. Great review, thanks!
You are probably right . Thanks for the kind words! I will try and do better with future videos…. Hard to know sizing and I’m not in construction lol. “Toe space”… love it
@@TheHappyHootie I double checked the term and it is stated that it is common to call the space under the cabinet a 'toe kick'. Also, it is common to see 3-1/2" height as well as 4" height. Keep up the great work!
Great review ! Thank you :) I have a s3 and love it. I had to send it for repair and purchased a Roborock Dyad to use while the S3 was away, and honestly… The Dyad is nice, cleans well, but … Had to have it repair because the rotor was malfunctioning, and today it broke down again because the charging part just broke (one of the connectors fell in, the plastic holding it just broke). The S3 albeit older is still cleaning very well (I use the Bona solution for hard floor and it works pretty well). I have 3 kids and a basset hound (not long fur, but she slobs a LOT and sheds like 364 days per year), the S3 is absolutely necessary :) Looking for the S5 pro and it looks really awesome compared to the S3. However I’m wondering of the new Tineco Steam is better or not for cleaning hard floor 2x or 3x per day, the cable and thus no battery is really tempting. Have you had the opportunity to try the S5 Steam ? (Oddly it is labelled S5 but has the same mop roller head as the S3 and not like the s5, it does clean corners like the S5 does)
I haven’t heard anything about the steam. I would be a little concerned with the steam on real hardwood… the idea of blowing hot steam into the wood floor scares me! I really enjoy the s5, saves me so much time rather than sweeping and mopping.
I would definitely get the steam version, and I almost did, BUT there is nothing but Auto modes. :( So I’ve read quite a few reviews, that if the machine doesn’t detect the mess properly (like non gritty stuck on messes) then it’s a real problem. No way to customize the clean at all. :( I have a lot of animals, so that about broke my heart when I read that! 😂 Because if it had a max mode or any customization, I’d have bought that one! Lol But I’m super excited about the s5 pro 2 I have on the way! 😊🎉

Hmm. Could be an issue with suction? Make sure the dirty water tank has the filter set in place. My kids ran it once and didn’t put the filter on and it just pushed stuff around and left lines. If not that, I don’t know what to say. We have been running it for a couple of years with no issues. Sorry 😣
Is it still working properly after an year for you? There are reviews mentioning rusting on motor or battery drain after 3 to 6 months of usage? Pls guide...
I had such a frustrating experience with this which sucks because it’s clean so dang Fantastic. I had to send back 3 S5 Pros because the sensors would do just that tell me to run a clean or empty the dirty tank when it just started or would not connect to the charging base. For that amount of money it should not be that frustrating so I decided maybe it’s just the smart chip or sensors in the s5 model I’ll try the s3 had to request a replacement because I felt the suction was off then it would not connect to the base, I get the replacement and I have to keep it at a 90 degree angle or it does the auto shut off so I’m really annoyed because I love and hate this product
Sorry you had a bad experience . We are still running ours without issues. I will say that occasionally it says to run the self cleaning cycle after I have only been running it for a short period… but typically it’s because I sucked up some dog hair or some it hit and it is blocking the screen in the holding tank. … making it believe that it is “full”. Once removed it seems to be fine. Not connecting to the base is another issue. I have not had to deal with that one. Sorry

Thanks for the review which provided a lot of practical info such as the hand-cleaning process. The new S7 Pro has dual thin edges, LED light, and electrolyzed water cleaning but it's just too expensive compared to the S5 pro. I placed an order just now during Black Friday. Question: I see a lot of reviewers say they used it more as a mop than picking up spaghetti cause the cleaning process is not worth it. What about cereals with milk or just juices or drinks with colors? would you avoid it or recommend it? Thank you
Honestly. If you use it at all you will be cleaning it out anyway… spaghetti may be a bit much but if you can scoop up the bulk and hit it the machine works fine. Bottom line is this… if you are like us… there is always something to clean. If we have a spill (as we did the other day) we cleaned it with the machine and then continued to clean the room and adjacent rooms until the cleaner ran out. We then cleaned out the entire machine as we would normally. When someone asks “is it worth it to just clean up a small spill and that’s it…”. My answer would be no. It needs to be rinsed and left to dry after use. Whole house cleaning there is nothing better in my opinion. Thanks for you kind comment and we appreciate you very much!
