NOTE: The Tineco shown in the video is incorrectly labeled. It's the Tineco Floor One S3 Cordless Wet Dry Vacuum Cleaner - this one - amzn.to/3nbWjtw (this is an affiliate link) with smart tech. The IFloor 3 doesn't have the smart tech, voice (you can turn on/off but it tells you when it's time to refill the clean water, empty the dirty water, clean, etc), app or high tech display. It comes with 1 brush, the Floor One comes with 2. I think it's worth it but both are great machines. The clean/dirty water holders are interchangeable, same with the brushes. The S3 has a black body and the IFLOOR 3 is white.
I have had the Bissell crosswave max for about 11 months. Absolutely LOVE it and have only had to buy replacement rollers once because I learned to deep clean them. Recently, the sprayer on my Crosswave stopped working. I followed all troubleshooting suggestions to no avail. I emailed Bissell and they are sending me a new one as well as allowing me to keep the old one for parts. Awesome customer service!
Thank you for replying. Yes, I use the bissell cleaner and fill it to the indicated line. I have luxury vinyl, and I am not sure if it shouldn’t be used on that flooring, but the amount of soap residue after I clean is a lot. So. Let me ask what may be a silly question when using the machine a forward motion releases the chemicals and a backward motion over the same area dries the area? Please correct me if I am wrong as I want to make sure I am also using the machine properly. Thanks again.
After this review, I went with the Tineco Floor One S3, loved it for 3 weeks, then had to return it due to water leaking. I then got the Bissell Crosswave in this video, and I prefer it because it’s more durable with a better build, and the clean water tank doesn’t need to be refilled as often, and it’s so much easier to clean (the strainer in the dirty water tank is better designed and catches all of the gunk, and I can clean that part off in one swipe of a tissue, rather than with the Tineco’s strainer which is half the size and things like hair gets caught in it, plus the Tineco’s strainer doesn’t actually catch all of the gunk, so you have to filter through it twice when pouring out-it really became a source of frustration for me when cleaning since I had to empty out the DWT in the Tineco 3 times during a 30 minute period. With the Bissell, I only have to clean the DWT once at the end of a 30 minute cleaning session). I also tried the cordless Crosswave X7, and liked that one as well for the same reasons. Plus, the Bissell doesn’t constantly talk to you, so that’s less annoying (I know you can shut it off with the app, but I didn’t want to take the time to download the app to do that.)
Have you ever had an issue where your floor stays wet for a long time after mopping? When I first got my cleaning machine, it left the floor dry in a flash-just 15 seconds and it was done. But after using it every day for a month, just 10 minutes a day, it's not squeezing out the water like before. Now, I'm stuck waiting around 5 minutes for the floor to dry.
@@HamzaKhan-uc5zo I did not like the Bissel hf3 when I tried it because it used up more cleaning solution than my Crosswave Cordless Max (as shown in this video). The other reasons were because in the hf3 I received, the water had to be filled sideways (odd design), had to be refilled more often, and while using up more cleaning solution did not clean my kitchen floor as well as the Crosswave Cordless Max! I found that emptying the DWT was also about the same as the Tineco, and I think it's becuse the hf3 was modeled after the Tineco. If you're deciding between the Bissell hf3 and Tineco, I think Tineco is better and more satisfying ... I just don't know how long the Tineco will last, as I hear that the longevity with that machine isn't great.
@@BeginnerVille Hmm, interesting ... My Bissell Crosswave cordless max (like the one in this video) always took about 5 minutes for the floor to dry. I also happen to keep the trigger button (that releases cleaning solution) pressed down the whole time. But if you feel your machine isn't working as well as it used to, and if it is under warranty, you can get a replacement machine and see if it improves. (I got mine from Best Buy and purchased their store's extra warranty.)
I just purchased the tineco, I can’t wait to see what it’s like. My husband gave me the green light after cleaning for a few weeks while I recovered from giving birth.
HAHA 😄 🤣. My hubby didn't wear a mask & bright home covid, it hit me the worst, he had 2 kids & a home 2 take care of... He IMMEDIATELY told me add that mop thing you want to the cart, buy it". I'm debating between the cordless & corded.I think I want the bissell crosswave because of the better brush options.
I left home when i was 17 & live solo for 15 years, so i am so used to do everything myself even after i got married. My wife hardly does any chores, because i would just instinctively pickup vacuum, do the dishes etc when I see those havent been done. She loves it of course 😂
The Bissel would fit my needs better since I would not need the wet mopping every time. Your demonstration and function of each unit is done in a very practical manner. You have helped me with my decision.
I bought the bissell & returned it. It left a lot of streaks & just made a mess. I recently purchased Tineco & found it to be far superior. The latest version has suction only as well, so is a great improvement. In Australia the tube on is more expensive but I think worth it.
I’ve been using the Bissell for three years and have never had streaking. Floors are always spotless. The Bissell also comes with different rollers. One for timber floors, one for tiles and concrete flooring and one for rugs.

What a great channel. I'm tired of sweeping. I'm 2 yrs married and we've moved for my husband job. The esthetic we like is mainly hardwood floors. My dustpan is stuck behind the dryer as we speak and the swiffer mop refills are costly. So I hope to get one on black Friday.
I have no (human children) but I have six dogs, two of whom shed rather heavily on a seasonal basis. They are the messiest eaters on the planet and are always leaving me something to clean up. I was spending a small fortune on various mops, cleaning solutions, and Swiffer wipes. I plan to go with the Bissell and hope it can keep up with my pack! Thank you so much for this video!
It will change your life! Just be sure to thoroughly clean the tank, take out the brush roller and clean behind it, and use the brush to clean under the dirty water tank. There will be a lot of pet hair that can clog the pipe where the water comes out.
I've owned the Tineco S5 and the cordless crosswave... Tineco hands down is my favorite! With wood floors and tile throughout our home, Tinco leaves much less water behind, I purchased it after my crosswave because I would have to go back and dry my floors. Although you cannot control the water output, I have a squirt bottle if I need more.

@@aloria100 Everyone and all the reviews online show the Tineco is lighter and a bit easier to use in that way. Esp. if you have a self propelled model. They tend to have smaller water tanks, so that alone will make them lighter. Some find they prefer the sturdier build of Bissel or another competitor. Tineco seems to leave floors drier. I've seen updates in these comments. Since the video was made and the S5 Tineco came, out, they both prefer the new Tineco.
For me… the Bissel is a no brainer. I have hardwood floors throughout my home along with area rugs. I love being able to refresh them when I do the floors! I love the brush options available and the cleaner solution makes the house feel fresh without a lot of scent. I’m quite happy with my purchase and excited for the time I’m saving.
I just bought the Bissell Crosswave today! Yeah!! I am so excited to try it out. I had been reading reviews and wanting one for about 2.5 years. I purchased mine through Kohls and through great sales, discounts, and a little Kohls cash I was able to get mine for $152. including tax. A really great price point, I think. I really want to thank you ladies for your honest and thorough review. I saw another channel that was so negative, but this made me feel like I had .made the right decision for me! Thanks again for your awesome review of two great products!
Have you ever had an issue where your floor stays wet for a long time after mopping? In the first few uses, my cleaning machine worked like a charm - the floor would be dry in just 15 seconds. But after a month of daily use, about 10 minutes each day, it doesn’t squeeze out the water effectively anymore. Now, I'm stuck waiting around 5 minutes for the floor to dry.
I bought the Bissell over the summer, when I was looking for an easy tool for mopping my tile and hardwood floors. I didn’t know about the Tineco until recently. I wanted to buy another bissell for my son and new daughter in law for their new home. I wanted to compare the two and found your video. The Bissell I bought is a plug in not rechargeable only because I have a big surface area to clean and I didn’t want to run out of power mid task. It also has a bigger water tank which I like because of more cleaning time. I appreciate your video which helped me decide on which to buy. Thanks so much.
I never comment on videos like this but I think you really helped me to decide. Our new large dog just started shedding and kids are in quarantine again (and then will be again, for sure) which means a significant increase in cleaning up the dirt they make. It seems the Bissel is for us.
I prefer the Tineco’s slimmer form factor, but I just wish you were able to manually choose if want just to vacuum or run both. I had hard floors, but the odd occasion I vacuum a rug and the couch. I also like to do a dry vacuum pass and then do a mop.
I bet that's coming. You could vacuum, mop or both. Plus a shorter charging time with a line longer run time. Still, I think it gets floors much cleaner than the old way where when you mop you're still putting dirty water back on the floor. And can't usually detach and wash the mop head.
Same here, majority of my first floor is luxury vinyl plank flooring, with family room in carpet. I want separate functions so i can vacuum every day, then mop once a week.
Thanks this review was really helpful as I was considering buying one. For me the Bissell would work better. I liked the fact that you can vacuum without water. I also have a lot of area rugs that I love to clean at the same time.
Thank you for this excellent informative review! I have the Tineco S5 Pro and absolutely love it. The main reason for my decision is that we have engineered hardwood floors and the Tinceco, leaves the floor almost dry (we use water only) I am now shopping for my daughter and her husband that have tile throughout their home. I think the Bissell"s larger water capacity and the ability to clean carpets makes that machine so much more convenient and the winner for their young Family. Im still doing my research but you have brought me so much closer. Thanks again!
I used your link to buy the tineco and they gave me $60 discount. Thank you again. It's important that my hardwood floors dry quickly so I chose the tineco for that reason

After using both Bissell Crosswave Max and Tineco S3 for more than a year , Tineco broke down and it was replaced free but Bissell is still working , but I found Tineco a much better machine to use and clean hard floors, Will go with a Tineco again .
We agree tineco is a better choice. However Diana’s Crosswave broke and was replaced by Bissell. No problem with the Tineco. Diana ended up getting the newer Tineco and prefers it. I also upgraded to the same one and love it. There’s a link to it in the description. The S5.
I have them both. I got the Tineco first and wasn’t completely happy with its ability to clean dried up dog slobber (Great Dane owner) so I tried the Bissel. I like the Bissel much better as it is much better at cleaning dried on dirt and the water tank is bigger.
Thanks for your insight. It's always tough to pick a winner because they're both decent machines that cut down on work. But, as you point out, your choice also depends a lot on how you use it.
I purchased both the Bissell Crosswave (wired) and the Tineco S5 from Costco. The only problem with the Bissell was that it left the floor too wet after use. Consequently, I returned the Bissell and now only use the Tineco. The Tineco is more suitable for my needs because it leaves the floor quite dry and clean after use. However, the Tineco does have one issue: it doesn’t have a long lifespan. According to many user experiences from China, many Tineco units malfunction after 2 or 3 years. Despite it being more expensive at Costco than on Amazon, I chose to purchase it from Costco because of their return policy, which allows me to return it regardless of how many years have passed, as long as it’s no longer working.
I've got the Bissell Crosswave pet pro and have two cats and two dogs, all of which lose loads of hair. It's never been so easy to keep my rugs hairless and with the pet cleaning solution with febreeze they smell great for quite a long time. It's great at getting rid of crayon on floors (and carpets) too 😅 The only 'problem' is that longer hair eventually gets caught up in the bottom of the tube but is easly removed with one of those bendy brushes, so if cleaning a larger area you'll have to empty out the container and get the gunk out of the tube at least once. Still dont regret the buy, it still only takes me a quarter of the time to clean the house than it used to.
Yes I've got a great brush that's flexible and has bristles that get down into the tube. I do it after most cleanings, unless it's a really quick pick up.
This video helps me find what I'm looking for, mop and vacuum at once to save time and still have a clean floor. I will go with the Bissell because I have a lot of traffics and area rugs.
I just ordered the Tineco. I like that the self-clean is better on the Tineco, and that it’s lighter and easier to push around. I also like that the cleaning solution is nice-smelling 😊 I have a small apartment and no kids so I think the Tineco will be perfect for keeping my floors tidy and clean. Great review!

Thank you for this video. Excellent live comparison! I decided to purchase the Tineco. I have SPC vinyl flooring. I liked the short soft roller and quicker drying time. I also watched another comparison video that showed the self cleaning feature: the Tineco dock was dryer after the self cleaning mode.
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe I choose the tineco because it's sleeker and high tech looking :) Can't wait to see your other vac mop review .. I'm a high tech cleaning gadget geek... I'll try anything to make my life easier :)
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe Will be interested in all of your reviews of other vacmops. I had watched Vacuum Wars reviews and I was leaning toward Tineco but online people complained that they can't get through a room without having to stop and do the self-clean and they have to also deal with the water before the room is clean. Plus, the solution is often not in stock at Tineco and they say that using a different cleaner will corrode the system. It is easy-peasy to find Bissell solution at local stores. That, plus the 3-year warranty versus 2-year is what changed my mind.
I am still researching it. Tineco has a 2-year warranty. Bissell has a 3-year warranty. Tineco has 300 battery cycle and you can't buy a battery once it goes dead. Bissell, you can send the machine in for a new battery but there are some places that say they sell a replacement battery for it. The average cordless vac and vacmop last three to five years, where Bissell claims 7 to 10 years with proper upkeep. The biggest thing to me is that the Tineco is a throwaway when the battery dies. Bissell, for now, there are one or two places to get the batteries. but that isn't a guarantee that they will still have the proper batteries 7 to 10 years from now.
@@wishingb5859 Im in same dilemna.. in Australia though, only 1 store (Godfreys) sells the Tineco s3 for AUD$800.00 (!) while you can get the Bissell for ~ AUD$550.00 with the 3 years warranty... So... :-^
Love this content! I hope more manufacturer's PR dept ask you to test their products from time to time. A better "real world" depiction. As the dad who does nearly all the cleaning, I totally get why this would be useful - especially if you go barefoot in your house! The feeling of a bit of fine dust or grit on your feet, though not something that grosses me out, I do appreciate the feeling of my clean floors after I've steam cleaned them. =)
Thanks so much! We want to do more of them. It’s always fun to create these videos with Diana where we’re both testing them on our own homes. I agree, PR depts please contact us at twomomsreview @gmail.com 😄
Great info and video. I purchased the Bissell Crosswave. The key for me was control. I want to decide how much liquid to use. I did get the corded version, because I don't want it out charging and often I takes way over 30min to do all my floors each week. I would have my husband vacuuming while I was mopping. Now either can do both!
I have a dyson cordless vacuum, which I love, because it allows me to quickly do a superficial clean, but with my bissell crosswave, I don't mind the cord at all. With the necessity to clean the water tank and roll and all, the bissell is not suited for a quick in between use anyway. My corded one was 170 dollars instead of 400 or so.

I just have to thank you ladies for your channel! I am a newly subscribed member and love everything you guys do. Just yesterday I purchased the force of nature machine after watching some of your other videos on cleaning mattress and I can't wait to get it and try it around my house! As for this video, I currently live with 4 other adults, and we regularly have 2 toddlers running around, so for me I think I would go with the Bissell vacmop. Just yesterday I purchased a steam mop from Bissell and my floors have never been cleaner! But I still have to pull out the broom or vacuum first. Nice to know that there are now a line of machines that are both vacuum's and mops
Thanks for watching so many of our videos. We appreciate it and hope to see you back again. Vacmops would win cleaning product of the year from us and you'd win best comment if we were giving out awards!
The BISSELL is much louder but it’s my choice so far. I chose the corded version because I don’t think 30 minutes is enough for my weekly cleaning routine. I do all of the floors on one specific day.
Great review ladies. I am so glad you demonstrated on the ceramic tiles with the difficult grout lines. That is what I have & I wondered how the Bissell really cleaned that type of tile. I can’t wait to get mine & try it. Thank you!
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe Does the Tineco clean itself off well? I watched one man who used both and Bissell cleaned itself out but his Tineco didn't clean itself well. It was the messy floor test, but even after re-doing the cleaning itself out process, his Tineco still didn't do it. But, I watched another woman and with a not as messy clean up, her Tineco cleaned itself fine with less water in the base and the Bissell cleaned itself but the base was filled with water and she chose the Tineco for that reason.
First, every surface and mess is different. In my experience, you do need to remove the roller and make sure to get gunk and hair from inside. That's what the brush accessory is for and to clean the dirty water tank. I'll let Diana speak to cleaning the Bissell. It's been too long and I can't recall and don't want to give the wrong info. The absolute best is Hizero. It separates the dry from wet messes. It captures hair and gunk in a tray that's easy to clean. You don't get a big soupy mess to clean in the dirty water tank. Just rinse off. There's no self cleaning cycle. The roller isn't made of material. I find it much better. But they all have their pluses and minuses. When they're back in stock we plan to review the Hizero.
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe That is cool. I will be watching. I have watched Vacuum Wars review on the three of them. But I will tell you that the man who tried to do double self-cleaning processes on the Tineco and it still was seriously messy caused me to pause. I will wait for your Hizero review before buying one.
This is Diana. The Bissell has a self cleaning mode too. I use it multiple times a day, but I a few times a week I remove the brush and do a deeper cleaning
I initially had the Bissell crosswave for almost 8 months and wanted to buy another Vacmop for second home, after seeing several yutube reviews decided to go with Tineco S3, from using both I find Bissell is heavy duty and can clean really muddy places but Tineco struggles, but for day today cleaning of kitchen and normal tiled rooms ,Tineco is okay and self cleaning of Tineco is way better .
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I think you're correct. If you have a pretty clean floor, the Tineco will keep it almost perfect. It's easy to maintain and handles most messes well. But if you have pets, kids, etc and your floors are getting quite dirty, get the Bissell.
@@CleanFreakGermaphobeDoes the clueless max loose cleaning power towards the end of the 30min. Should I go with the corded pet pro max for consistent strength & longer cleaning time, or does the convenience of the cordless outweigh the 30 min? Is there a big difference in cleaning strength between corded & cordless?
I have to agree with all this. And the crosswave keeps mats looking like new. Tineco won’t even touch em’! I have the S5 pro and the crosswave MAX and the tineco hurts my shoulder and the crosswave is way easier to control and there’s no shoulder fatigue like the tineco.
Great review BISSELL FOR 2 years owned I wanted to switch but I will still stick with the one I have Thank you for helping me make my choice by watching your video
I own the original corded croswave and have had it for a few years now. I do not use it as a vacuum and only use it as a mop and it works great. Only complaint I have is cleaning it after each use is a pain. There are a lot of parts to clean and it takes up the entire drying rack.
Yes, there is a bit of cleaning to do. The bigger the messes you're cleaning up, the more cleaning you have to do after. We had to do A LOT of cleaning after these tests. But if you keep up on it (because it's so much easier I clean more often and immediately after a mess is made), it isn't as much maintenance. It still beats a mop and broom or vacuum to me!!
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe I agree with you completely. I use it to mop my entire house once every few weeks and then clean it and put it away. Use a swiffer for small spot cleaning in between.

Thanks for this comparison video, it is just what I was looking for. I think the Bissell will be the best choice for my household. As we din't have any big messes to clean up, we do have three dogs and one cat. Dust and hair seem to be a daily hustle around here.
Would definitely go for the Bissel, the addition to clean Rugs is a nice one, not to mention i can manually adjust the water whenever i want Dry or wet.
Just purchased the tinco3 yesterday for the Black Friday price at target. But then as I was looking at all the other brands I was so confused but still purchased the tinco only because I had been wanting it for so long. Sooo excited to use it. 🎉
We’ve since tested about 4 other brands and both of us are team Tineco now. You’re going to love it! We’ll be sharing deals on our community tab this week if anyone is still looking!
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe have you tested the Shark hydrovak? If you have, what do you think about it? I am definitely buying one of these this Black Friday but can't figure out which one to buy.
@@annem7806 I don't believe the Floor one S3 is on sale at Walmart, it's the ifloor 3 that's on sale. But I saw there's $120 off on the Floor one S3 on the Tineco website.
This was so helpful thank you!!! I especially appreciate how you talked about no regrets since that was my biggest hesitation. I have so much junk to clean my house and I feel like nothing does. I am hesitant to spend $300+ on ANYTHING. Thank you!
I explained 2 my hubby of 18yrs how I had to sweep or vacuum, THEN dry swiffer, THEN wash(by hand). He style didn't want me 2 get it. I had him do the SMALLEST room in the house, he told me to order 1 immediately. I just can't decide if I want longer cleaning time with the cord or the convenience of the cordless!
HA!! That's like my mom. She's not one to spend money. So I brought it to her house. She tried it one time. Then, without saying anything to me or my dad who were standing there, she went into the office to order one. My dad was in shock because she didn't even talk to him about it first. She just bought it! This is the splurge that's worth it!!
I don't like dealing with cords but then again I don't like having it out to charge. If there was a plug in the closet and I could just put it away immediately I'd like that. But I still vote cordless. I don't like having to unplug and plug it in the whole time.
I was waiting for this too. I was planning on using your code BUT!!! My local Costco had a Tineco rep there today and they had a special for $299! I'm going back tomorrow to show my hubby and hopefully get it 🙂
Tineco iFLOOR and Tineco Floor One S3 are two different models. The iFLOOR is the cheapest. Tineco have 3 models, I believe Tineco Floor One S3 is the first model, and then Tineco iFLOOR, and now they have ifloor breeze which price is in the middle between S3 and iFloor
Probably the bissell for my home, update: Although I wanted the bissell I ended up getting the Tineco instead. Thanks for doing this review it really helped me
I’ve had both the mop vacs in this video. I returned both of them after a week because they both struggled with dried on messes. I settled on the Tineco S5 steam. The steam is a game changer for houses that want to truly sanitize your floors.
Thank you for your feedback and experience. We don’t have a lot of dried on messes at our house. I’ve noticed that vacuum mops struggle with that type of mess the most. Steam lifts the mess up. The only problem is steam isn’t good for vinyl plank flooring we have. Over time I can see how the edges have swollen because of the heat. This is a reminder that cleaning is individual too. What works for one person may not work for another.
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe Thank you for that information. I have been looking into steamers and saw a video for the Tieco just yesterday and here is yours showing up in my suggested videos confirming the Bissel for me since we are putting LVP in January. I've been so torn on which one to buy. I did notice no one mentions in the compare reviews that the Bissell can do area rugs, which I think would be a plus.
Great video. Love the friendship displayed. Two 2 different products and women who showed no jealousy and pure joy for each other’s preferable vacmop. Thank you for the info.
There was a little friendly competition, but we have fun when we film together! We used to do every video together but then we talk so much and it took a long time. Plus Diana added 2 more to her family and it got more challenging. This year we're having a Christmas party for our families because they support us and humor us. We're all friends, even the kids.
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe I love to hear it. My wife and I want to start making videos just hesitant to do it. Thank you for the info though. Congratulations to her and your families. PS; just bought the Bissell. Can’t wait!
One thing I was hoping to find out is ease of taking it apart and putting it back together. Was hoping to get for my elderly family member but they both seem like they would be too complicated for her to do on her own. She may get frustrated or break it by pulling the water containers out too hard or shoving them back in before fitting it properly so I don’t think I can choose either for her unfortunately but I would love either one for myself! I personally like the Bissell because of the mop head, bigger tanks, and you can use the water when you want. But I don’t like how you have to pull the trigger each time to get the water. Overall they both seem great.
Maybe we'll record a video of that and leave it for you in a future comment. My 80 something year old mom has the most basic Tineco. She has arthritis in her hands but does ok with it. But I understand the concern and I do think it'll be a little complicated for your family member. But it's so much easier on their back and body to push it. The newest Tineco the S5 is easier to remove and put in the water tanks than the Tineco in this video. Hope that helps.

But after a month of daily use, about 10 minutes each day, it doesn’t squeeze out the water effectively anymore. Now, I'm stuck waiting around 5 minutes for the floor to dry.
Very helpful video! Thank you. Now...can you do a video comparing the Bissell Crosswave Cordless Max to the new Bissell Crosswave Cordless X7 Pet Pro? I see the X7 Pet Pro has a narrower path width, a smaller battery size and a higher price than the Max. I would like to see the two in a head to head comparison, and you two would show the good, the bad and the little quirks each machine has.
I've just purchased the Tineco S5, which is an upgrade to the S3 displayed in this video, which boasts the following upgrades: larger water tank, edge clean (on one side) and the option to switch to vacuum only. So the ''negatives'' displayed in this video, addressed since with the upgrade done by Tineco but it is $100 more expensive than it's S3 counterpart.
@@byroncoetzee3173 But someone wearing shoes in the house treks in who knows what other kinds of germs into the house. Which would you prefer? Smelly feet that's been protected in shoes or random gross germs from the bottoms of shoes? Ideally, neither, but, 🤷🏻♀️.
Hmm i definitely want the tineco for my small apartment but will be getting my mom the bissel for her house come her birthday! Thank you! This was one of the best reviews ive ever seen, super quick, enjoyable, and informative.
Great review I would of loved to hear about cleaning tank and how often brush and filter need to be changed . I’ve had my BISSELL for a month now and I clean after each use and brush and specially filter smell musty . I will add I remove everything each and every time to rinse and wash and still use the self cleaning afterward but I can’t seem to keep it from smelling musty .
I own one of Tineco vacuum. I love it’s functionality, however the plastic parts has fallen apart with regular use. Of course it already passed one year.
This is exactly why I'm not getting a Chinese brand. I just don't trust them. At least with Bissell it might be made in China but I can get it replaced by customer service when it conks out, or even repaired.

I bought it through your link and got a great deal with extra brushes, cleaners, heads, and filters! I love it! I have fibromyalgia and never thought I’d have clean floors again! So happy 😊
Thank you, we’re both now using the Tineco and upgraded to the newest model the S3 and it’s both of our favorites. We’ve treated them (hopefully we will get the video posted) and it cleans the best.
Yes we could’ve gone into the maintenance part more. Some of that got cut in editing. But it’s really important and although not as intense as a regular mop, it needs to be done each time. Thanks for your feedback.
Tineco has a error motor issue requiring it to be sent back to the manufacturer every 6 months. I have had both. It is a known issue if you google complaints.
Forget the mess test with eggs and such...Just use a few paper towels for crying out loud!! We want to know which does a more spotless job, and DEEP cleaning. Which gets grooves and such clean better? Why dont you 2 SWAP the cleaners for a week, and then see what your reactions are?!! Looks like the Tineco does better with dust and loose dirt, and maybe the suction is better, while the Billel has a more aggressive brush action and bristels for cleaning residue...Residue is what most floors need on a routine cleaning basis. Now to compare to steam mops!! LOL. Loved your Duo review!!!!
My Tineco stopped charging properly. I have to pick it up and set it back down on the base over and over for 10-15 minutes to get it to charge. I decided to order the crosswave and it came in today. I’m going to return it. The Tineco puts down water automatically and evenly whereas you have to push the button to release water on Bissell. It doesn’t wash evenly. I’ll be shipping it back this weekend and I just ordered a replacement battery for my Tineco. Wish me luck replacing it. 😬
It isn't made for a big mess. It will take you longer to clean out the tank from your food remnants than it would to just pick.up the mess with paper towels. It looks great for dirt though!
It depends on which Tineco you buy. I bought the iFloor (first model) version and it allows you to control wether or not you use water, as well as a “spot” button for stubborn stains. Also the roller it comes with has soft and hard bristles on it. Mine doesn’t talk too which it nice
How do you like your ifloor? It’s on sale now, and I’m struggling to decide if to buy the ifloor or the ifloor3. I just needed a simple mop …. And now I’m gearing towards the more ezpensive versions… of course 😂
I have bought 2 Bissell crossways corded and both of them we had to supper glue the clean water lid. So we bought the Hoover and the water is spaying on one side. Kind of frustrating. So maybe we will try the timeco on our next purchase. Really enjoyed the video very informative.
Did you reach out to Bissell? They're usually really good at responding. Diana I think has 3 of them now (different models) without issue. Let us know if you get a Tineco. Still my #1!
I don’t see that anyone mentioned this. It looks like the Bissell has a bigger front end. I mean requires more height clearance . Possibly the Bissell won’t fit under a couch that doesn’t have a lot of room under it. I have the Tineco and it has a very nice low profile
I feel like 4 hrs of charging is perfectly reasonable. Youre only going to clean the floors once maybe twice a day if you have children. All that time you aren’t using it is charging time, not to mention overnight
Just receive Tineco Floor One S3 Cordless which buy it for my mum. And only notice the comparison btw Bissell Crosswave, and this video is 1yr ago 😅. Well hope to have review for Bisssell Crosswave X7 Pro.
I didn't understand which broom is better.
Please mention her name.
You guys also mislabeled the Bissell. It isn't called Crosswave Pro (that's a different vacuum). This one is called Crosswave Cordless Max.
Plus, the Bissell doesn’t constantly talk to you, so that’s less annoying (I know you can shut it off with the app, but I didn’t want to take the time to download the app to do that.)
do you know if this is the same for the bissel hf3? I am thinking of purchasing it
Have you ever had an issue where your floor stays wet for a long time after mopping?
@@LightnessofJoy thank you very much for sharing this!
This was a perfect review for me. I thought I was set on Tineco but now I'm going Bissell. Thank you
And we now say get the Tineco. S5 after testing it! It cleans best, but it wasn’t a available when we did this video.
I just purchased the tineco, I can’t wait to see what it’s like. My husband gave me the green light after cleaning for a few weeks while I recovered from giving birth.
After they realize how much you do it changes how they view your work. It's the best. Congrats on your new baby!
Sometimes they need to do it to actually know how hard it is to actually do chores every day haha.
No entiendo , de qué país sois ??? Vaya sociedad patriarcal y machista !!! Osea la mujer a limpiar y el hombre o marido? Pero en qué siglo vivís???
I left home when i was 17 & live solo for 15 years, so i am so used to do everything myself even after i got married. My wife hardly does any chores, because i would just instinctively pickup vacuum, do the dishes etc when I see those havent been done. She loves it of course 😂
The Bissel would fit my needs better since I would not need the wet mopping every time. Your demonstration and function of each unit is done in a very practical manner. You have helped me with my decision.
Did vaacuming alone on carpet ruin the brush though?
I've got five daughters and a new puppy. Thank you for helping me decide on which one to get. Bissell looks like the winner.
I bought the bissell & returned it. It left a lot of streaks & just made a mess.
I recently purchased Tineco & found it to be far superior. The latest version has suction only as well, so is a great improvement.
In Australia the tube on is more expensive but I think worth it.
Thanks for your input. The newest Tineco stepped up their game even more. We both love it
I’ve been using the Bissell for three years and have never had streaking. Floors are always spotless. The Bissell also comes with different rollers. One for timber floors, one for tiles and concrete flooring and one for rugs.

I Have the Bissel - would not buy it again. it leave streaks and puddles of water behind,
I’ve seen a lot of those complaints about the Bissel or floor is too wet. I love that Tineco does it wet it up so much and it dries quickly.
We will keep an eye out for deals too. Watch our community page.
I have a corded Bissel, love it. Does a great job on my hardwoods and area rugs.
Would you say the tineco is lighter or easier to use? I have the crosswave but it leaves water and streaks and is just heavy... thanks

Im wanting to get the Bissell i have 8 dogs run a 20 acre farm and have all hardwood in the whole house should i get it
I agree
I agree. bissell FTW hands down.
In my opinion being able to clean the rugs with the crosswave makes it a win for me.
Great comparison review..👏🏻
Same!!!
@Hilda Highlander How are you finding the Bissell now that you've had it for a few months? I'm debating whether to make the splurge. 🙂
Hello. It has been 6 months since your post. How is it going with Bissell Crosswave so far ?
So happy to help. Diana here, I think you will love your new bissell😃👍
The main reason for my decision is that we have engineered hardwood floors and the Tinceco, leaves the floor almost dry (we use water only) I am now shopping for my daughter and her husband
that have tile throughout their home. I think the Bissell"s larger water capacity and the ability to clean carpets makes that machine so much more convenient and the winner for their young Family. Im still doing my research but you have brought me so much closer. Thanks again!
I hope the two of you make more videos because you make a great team.
I used your link to buy the tineco and they gave me $60 discount. Thank you again. It's important that my hardwood floors dry quickly so I chose the tineco for that reason
Thanks for using our link and let us know if you love it as much as we do!

After using both Bissell Crosswave Max and Tineco S3 for more than a year , Tineco broke down and it was replaced free but Bissell is still working , but I found Tineco a much better machine to use and clean hard floors, Will go with a Tineco again .
Tineco you will be replacing them every three mos.
For me I am going to purchase the Bissell since it can go from hardwood to area rugs. I do hope it is up to the challenge of my 2 dogs and cat.
Let us know how it goes! Janet has a cat but we don't have a ton of pet hair. We should test it where there is!
I've got the Bissell Crosswave pet pro and have two cats and two dogs, all of which lose loads of hair.
It's never been so easy to keep my rugs hairless and with the pet cleaning solution with febreeze they smell great for quite a long time.
It's great at getting rid of crayon on floors (and carpets) too 😅
The only 'problem' is that longer hair eventually gets caught up in the bottom of the tube but is easly removed with one of those bendy brushes, so if cleaning a larger area you'll have to empty out the container and get the gunk out of the tube at least once.
Still dont regret the buy, it still only takes me a quarter of the time to clean the house than it used to.
Yes I've got a great brush that's flexible and has bristles that get down into the tube. I do it after most cleanings, unless it's a really quick pick up.
Bissell has a pet pro crosswave one
You were very thorough. Now I can start using my new cleaner with confidence. Thamks!
Got this bissell for 267 with taxes using a 40% off kohl’s coupon and $5 off. Picking up today! Thank you!
You got a great deal! Congrats 👏
Great videos. I’ve have never seen videos so professionally done. You two are pros and should have been paid.
Thank you so much. Hopefully, Bisssell or Tineco reads your comment too :D
After watching this video, I think I may go with the Bissell, although they both look like they will be sufficient. thanks for your review!!

I'm very happy with my Tineco purchase and so far it has outperformed any other vacmop I've tried. I've got 2 more vacuum mop reviews coming up!
Yes we like that Bissell has a corded option too!
Have you ever had an issue where your floor stays wet for a long time after mopping?

Thank you!
They should have swapped for a week and then talk about if they would stay with their old machine or change.
Diane did use the Tineco for over a week and liked the Bissell better for her household. I didn't use the Bissell but I should.
Super helpful, thank you for the thorough review and comparison. You two thought of everything when demoing all the features!
I’ve been very interested in the Tineco, you just helped me fully commit to Tineco. Thanks for the great comparisons and demonstration.
Happy to hear you got the Tineco and love it. Best invention ever!!
Thanks for your feedback!! Just bought myself a bissell.
@@misterkota1252 thank you for this. I was about to get the tineco S5 pro
Great review
BISSELL FOR 2 years owned
I wanted to switch but I will still stick with the one I have
Thank you for helping me make my choice by watching your video
Glad it helped, thanks for watching!
I've only owned Bissell products & they never disappoint. The BIG plus for me? It's MADE IN THE USA! 🇺🇸💪🏽🤗
Precisely 💖
Это Сделано В Китае 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Could be worse, you could have no dish washer, etc
Have you ever had an issue where your floor stays wet for a long time after mopping?
In the first few uses, my cleaning machine worked like a charm - the floor would be dry in just 15 seconds. But after a month of daily use, about 10 minutes each day, it doesn’t squeeze out the water effectively anymore.
Now, I'm stuck waiting around 5 minutes for the floor to dry.
I have a very buy house hold! We have 3 Adults , a 20 yr old, 19 and 18 pluse a 6 month old plus 2 dogs!! I definitely want the Bissell .
Sounds like a busy and fun household 👍
Thank you for this comparison! My husband and I got the bissell but then I kept seeing recommendations for the Tineco. However after watching your video I think the bissell will continue to suit our needs with two young kiddos and lots of tile flooring to clean. Thank you!
I have been debating on which one to purchase, after seeing them both in action and you ladies telling the pro's and con's, I think I will end up with the Crosswave!
So happy it helped and thanks for subscribing!
Our Tineco lasted about 6 months and they did not stand behind their warranty, my next vacmop will definitely be the bissel.
Really? I’m surprised to hear that because they’ve both been good to work with in my experience.
On sale right now @ Wmart
@@annem7806 I don't believe the Floor one S3 is on sale at Walmart, it's the ifloor 3 that's on sale. But I saw there's $120 off on the Floor one S3 on the Tineco website.
I'm getting the Bissell because I have a large family!
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe thank you for the reply. I'm taking the plunge &ordering the cordless right now before I overthink it!
I was waiting for this too. I was planning on using your code BUT!!! My local Costco had a Tineco rep there today and they had a special for $299! I'm going back tomorrow to show my hubby and hopefully get it 🙂
That is a great price! Is it the same model? If it is, I wouldn't miss out on that deal😃
It is! I made sure the iFloor S3. She confirmed it's their latest model.
Thanks for doing this review it really helped me
Are you happy you chose the Tineco ? Trying to decide which one. Thanks
Are you glad you got it??
Can you use it on area rugs? Or is it still recommended not to?
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe plus cleaning products can't be used in steam mops and I like the smell them.
@@CleanFreakGermaphobe Thank you for that information. I have been looking into steamers and saw a video for the Tieco just yesterday and here is yours showing up in my suggested videos confirming the Bissel for me since we are putting LVP in January. I even have the McCulloch on my wish list on Amazon. I may still get it for cleaning other things instead of the floors. Thanks greatly!

I've been so torn on which one to buy. I did notice no one mentions in the compare reviews that the Bissell can do area rugs, which I think would be a plus.
From experience. I would suggest the Bissell. Tineco items aren't for longevity.
I have both the bissell crosswave cordless max for the house and the tineco vacuum for my camper love them both
Thank you because you proved our point that if you have hard floors to clean, get a vacmop. Either will do great!
Have you ever had an issue where your floor stays wet for a long time after mopping?

Both are great , but I chose tinco, because it is lighter. The weight is definitely a big factor to consider, if you use it 20 min every day.
Weight can be a huge factor. Bissell is a lot heavier.
Thank you ladies for the detailed comprehensive test.
Great review, just picked up the S3 on Amazon prime day for $280.
I'm kicking myself that I paid a lot more for mine!
Me too!
I got mine with Best Buy point lol so it was only 5.47
@@olliebaby07 Jelous here
I saw that deal.. jealous here :D I bought it when it first came out though ..
Omg as an Asian person, my heart just about had a heart attack when she said she doesn't take off her shoes at other people's houses 🤣😂
i really wouldn't want anyone's smelly feet on my floors.
It's rude to ask your guests to take off their shoes
She said barefoot. If she took off her shoes at your house, she’d probably have on socks. I did notice socks in part of the video.
In Canada we take off our shoes.
Hmm i definitely want the tineco for my small apartment but will be getting my mom the bissel for her house come her birthday! Thank you! This was one of the best reviews ive ever seen, super quick, enjoyable, and informative.
You're comment really makes our day, thanks for watching!
I really enjoyed the head to head suction competition of these wonderful mop vacuums😆
I like choosing how much liquid to use… more for tough stuff; less for normal or more scrubbing time..etc
Great job ladies! The exact video I was looking 👀 for! The Bissel is Louder.
Glad it was helpful!
Just ordered the Bissell Crosswave! Thank you ladies for your review.
My Bissell Crosswave died after one year and will not charge.
Have you ever had an issue where your floor stays wet for a long time after mopping?

I think I’m going for the Bissell! Thank you so much, ladies!
I bought it through your link and got a great deal with extra brushes, cleaners, heads, and filters! I love it! I have fibromyalgia and never thought I’d have clean floors again! So happy 😊
Great info ladies! Exactly what I was looking for as I'm trying to research to purchase a vac mop
Love that while looking for Bissell Crosswave reviews, I stumbled upon Diana in The Pink! 😀
I’m choosing Tineco. Thanks for the review.
Love that you did edge suction
Tried the crosswave but struggled with dog hair and pet messes on roller which never truly cleaned off. Going to try Tineco with the shorter bristles
great video. you did a dried on test which I never saw in any other video and answered all the questions I had which other videos left me wondering.
Thank you, we’re both now using the Tineco and upgraded to the newest model the S3 and it’s both of our favorites. We’ve treated them (hopefully we will get the video posted) and it cleans the best.
I wish they talk about the maintenace It's one of the most important thing. Ease of use is fine but cleaning after use is just as important.
Yes we could’ve gone into the maintenance part more. Some of that got cut in editing. But it’s really important and although not as intense as a regular mop, it needs to be done each time. Thanks for your feedback.
Thank you both VERY much. It helps me to know and understand both product and to make my decision. Appreciate very much
Happy to help! We're still testing them, I think we have 7 vacuum mops now!
Thanks for such a detailed review! Now I ave a better idea of what will practically work for me as a busy mom of 2! Thank you!
I love my Bissell Crosswave Pet Pro. I love the bigger tanks. And the ability to dry vacuum, not just mop.
Yup. Me too (Diana)
Tineco has a error motor issue requiring it to be sent back to the manufacturer every 6 months. I have had both. It is a known issue if you google complaints.
Oh no! I've had mine a bit longer than 6 months and no problems... Fingers crossed. Better look at my notes to see the warranty.
Thanks ladies your review was so very helpful in helping me make a decision! I think the Bissell will better fit my needs.
For me the Bislecrossway would be the one for me. I need a machine that works both ways. I agree a definate time saver.
I bought the Tineco and will try it out in a couple days
Just got vinyl floor and got the tineco today. Thanks much for this review.
So happy we could help. You won't be disappointed
Totally agree. We're in the habit of charging it immediately after cleaning.
Just receive Tineco Floor One S3 Cordless which buy it for my mum. And only notice the comparison btw Bissell Crosswave, and this video is 1yr ago 😅. Well hope to have review for Bisssell Crosswave X7 Pro.
With this comparison, I’d choose the Bessel because of the edge clean technology.
The lack of edge cleaning technology is the one thing that causes me to hold off on the Tineco. I was planning to purchase it before this video.
