That’s an awesome lookout in the intro
Also, 24mpg not too bad with the diesel on those tires 👍🏻
It was a super scenic trail. We are very happy with the mpg we get on the diesel even with the minor mods we have made. Thanks so much for watching!
@@JKsouthwest very cool. I’ve done a 2.5” spacer lift on my JTOD, still on stock tires for commuting as I drive nearly 80 miles round trip for work every day. Have some 37s for the trails, just haven’t been able to get out there in the last 6 weeks. After getting the diesel I would never go back. I average 27-28mpg, it’s a no brainer.
Dang wish I had seen this earlier. We were in that area this past week. We put over 100 miles of the Paiute trail system under our tires. What a great viewpoint.
So much to see, so little time. Thanks for watching!
I'm headed there this weekend and wondered if thie trail was worth trying thanks for this. The only creepy part is that this is the first time I know Google on the PC and OnX on my phone have been communicating.
This is a great trail, with awesome views. And it can be done in a stock vehicle. Thanks for watching!
@@JKsouthwest yeah I was at pine lake last year and I decided to fish instead of taking the time to find out if it was passable, thanks for the info. I love driving highway 12 and seeing the point for an hour between bryce pines and escalante has always been one of my favorite parts.
There is so much to see in the area. We need to plan another trip ourselves. Thanks so much for watching!@@jcarry5214
@@JKsouthwest we went up to barker lakes and island in the sky road instead, not as high up but a nice ride with plenty of spots to run the dog and fish, really a great area for sure
We will have to look that up! Thanks!@@jcarry5214
Excellent job. I stumbled across this area looking at the map of our campsite next week at Pine Lake. Do you think it's doable with a stock 4X4 Ford F-150? Also, about how long is the drive up timewise?
There is nothing terribly challenging about this trail, in that there are no major obstacles to get through. Most stock 4x4 trucks and SUVs should be fine. One caveat, the trail is narrow in many spots with trees / brush on both sides. Your F150 is wider than my Jeep, so you may get some scratches. If you do make it, you will be rewarded with an awesome view! Thanks so much for watching!
@@JKsouthwest Thanks! About how long did it take you?
@@RoadtrippinwithTakacs It was probably 3 - 4 hours of trail time, and probably 30-40 minutes of hanging out at the point.
