I also love his bassist, Jennifer Condos. Gorgeous woman, even did bass for Stevie Nicks at Red Rocks back in 87.
    Now that's talent!

He has become what he dreams and creates music to pass it to us..... Pure energy from the soul echoing love through space and time.

He can give it to me anytime!
None of the other artists mentioned come close to him. His lyrics and voice are are so soulful.

If you've ever seen an interview or been to a show of Ray's you'll notice he's very quiet and soft spoken, doesn't really move a lot - it's such a sharp contrast to when he performs and sings! He's loud, and into it and really feeling it!
    Great video!

@rileymacjuice Are you serious?? The first time I heard, Shelter... it changed my life. I'm a musician, and I can tell you that this man sings from a raw vulnerable place that most people don't even allow themselves to exist in. He is magic. This music is real, and powerful... So very much more than, "okay."

One week since the last comment? Damn, that's not right, more appreciation is due. Just love this, can't get enough either, it's Ray or the Wu Tang, or maybe Bob James, Les McCann or Roberta Flack. Nice to feel that way about summin nu, good that it's not all going to Simon Cowell and his satanic circus of dudness. Peace.

i think you'll find that a lot of great performers are that way... jimi hendrix was more or less a shy and soft spoken person...

@rileymacjuice You're obviously missing a part of the brain that recognises beautiful melody and harmony. That's not your fault.

Raf I think you're wrong, good rock'n'roll is proven to provide a direct link between crotch and brain. FACTOID!
