I really enjoyed this video and your honesty. A lot of the things you talked about I think most moms struggle with. Balancing challenging your children while not sucking all the fun out of learning is a balance and I think takes trial and error and input from your kids. I’ve struggled with sucking the fun out of school because I had certain expectations that sometimes my children couldn’t meet. Also I think most moms struggle with fomo when it comes to curriculum just because of the number of curriculum companies and fun pretty things available out there. It looks and sounds like your doing a fantastic job and thank you for sharing this video 😊
@@RachelTerry I've definitely messed up in that aspect as well- holding certain expectations that were not appropriate for the age and stage my kiddos were in. This homeschooling life is such a journey of growth! Thank you for watching the video 💛 I'm happy to have connected with you.
How important do you think it is for children to learn all the sounds of letters from the beginning after using logic of English? Im thinking about Pre-K LA curriculums
If you're thinking about eventually using the LOE Foundations phonics program then technically kiddos don't have to know the letter sounds before starting. LOE teaches the phonetic sounds for each letter throughout Foundations A.
Do any of you struggle with how to juggle challenging your kiddos while making sure they are still engaged in an age appropriate way? It hasn't been easy choosing curriculum this go around!
