This conversation is what mastering your craft sounds like. These guys just eliminated the need for any new pluggin ad you’re about to see during this video haha. Learn the basics, everything else is just new calculators. Great content
22:00 word. My entry to engineering from back in the day was sitting down with the DAW user manual. It gave me a great beginner’s insight to basic elements and tools of mixing.
Maaannnn the balance is essential. Too much production time leads to frail mixes...too much mixing leads to beat block and repetitive tracks...for me at least... Learning how to mix has changed how I create or arrange and layer... #GenerationGap #Back2Classics
As an amateur producer and engineer who’s wanting to turn professional this type of information is too valuable. Thanks so much for putting on for us all bro
This discussion was so dense man. One of the main things I took was to consider providing both dry and wet stems for artists, or in my opinion at least have them ready if you land an exclusive or publishing deal.
I am trying to get started on beatstars, i am currently trying to mix my beats to get them to a level that i feel is sellable. Im just not sure how far i ahould go as far as mixing and mastering a song before putting it out for lease
So can I ask a question..this is beautiful because it's like a real community...sharing tips, helping all that....can I ask u as a professional why this doesn't happen( often) with artists? Like from my own view point to watching videos on UA-cam I almost never see an Artist community sharing and helping and coming together for the furthering of the community. Artist (to me) seem to always be competing. Just wanted your opinion. Maybe some of your subs may have the same question
