I learned much from your instruction and while learning I was charmed by the music. Is there a name to the music and can it be purchased? I would like to know the maker of this music.
Hello, thank you for sharing.👍 My problem concerns folder names and only folder names. How do I mass rename folder names? I actually have more than 650 folders with names containing spaces, I tried with DOS commands, nothing worked, I notably tried with the command: ren "old folder name" "new name of the folder". To do this, I put as many command lines as folders to rename in a TXT file and then I renamed my TXT file to .BAT. To make a long story short, the result obtained is not good (big mess). Does Bulk Rename allow mass renaming of folder names? I am thinking in particular of removing spaces in folder names and replacing them with hyphens. Perhaps then the "ren" command will work correctly. I should point out that I have an EXCEL file in which the first column contains the names of all the current folders (old folders) and in the neighboring column the new ones. names that I would like. Perhaps it is possible to use this table in Bulk Rename. Thank you in advance. Best regards.
Great video! I have a challenge and hope you could help. What I am trying to achieve can be best described with example. For example. If my main folder is X and inside X I have files then their names would be X---"file name". If inside of X I have a folder Y then the names of the files in folder Y should be X---Y---"File name". In cases there is another subfolder (lets call it Z) then the name of the files in Z will be X---Y---Z---"File Name". Now let me tell you what I understand how to do up to now and what I don't. I know how to use Append Folder Name and set the levels according to how deep the folder is. However, this is really time consuming since I don't know how many levels the main folder X has and it will also require from me to dig in and always change Levels for each subfolder. My Question is then, How can I let it know that The parent folder should be X and each time it is going down another folder that it will use the upper folders names with separators all the way up to folder X. I know it is challenging but I am sure someone as sophisticated as you are can help with this.
La música de fondo muy buena, pero.........la resolución del video se pierde en la mayoría de la presentación, no se puede observar en la mayor parte qué está escrito o qué dice en las diferentes casillas que señala. Gracias de todas formas.

You can use Python to Automate your folder renaming. If you are not able to, send me a message on linkedin Rodrigue Tchamna

This would be much better with words.
Yes, and without distracting music.
Can you keep the original random titles and add things without changing it?
yea you can

How to clear embedded songs details ??
hi can we rename files with only odd numbers like 1 -3 -5-7 ? or even numbers ?
Thx man, now i know how it works :)
Can this be used to bulk rename MP3 tags?
You want TagScanner for that. Great software.
I'd recommend Mp3Tag for that instead. Best alternative, imho.
You covered entire world except regular expression (for which I watched your video)... waste of time
