What I loooove about Australians is that they never seem to judge your social status, life choices etc!! (Swiss-french here^^)
Laura Nathalie - Badass Introvertie Good Point! I'm a legal assistant and work in international law which can be emotionally & mentally exhausting. Some of the best lawyers to work w/were a lady from New Zealand and an Aussie guy. The weird thing is he was a little TOO laid back w/his work it drove me nuts. 😅
lol you stupid
You'd be surprise
Thank you for finding something positive to say. This video paints such an awful picture of us.
Thats not normal in other countries too. Why the hell would smbd judge your life choices?? Its your life and you decide this. I’m Russian and people here loooove to criticize you and ask something like “when are u gonna find a husbando, where are your kids?”. Not asking this and not judging is a sign of a kind and polite human, not a sign of separate nation
Not gonna lie, I laughed way too hard when he picked her up and said "come on, touch the little snake"
When I was in grade one or two (maybe even kindergarden) i remember they used to bring us snakes so we could learn about them. 😂
i died
The one eyed trouser snake? ;-)
The boyish charm & masculinity are appealing, but the apparent inattentiveness and lack of responsibility focus are not.
Not even the boyish charm & masculinity.
Kimberly G. The Woman is a Filipina and Filipino women are very beautiful
Then you'd love Kiwi guys.
Smelly Penis What are Kiwi men like?
Smelly Penis Are they a worse version of the Aussies?
Omg I didn’t know that I’ve always been an Australian guy , who was born as a Russian woman
U look like one too?...
No worries, we'll adopt you :)
We need to drink! 🍻
That.is.so.cool.👍
Неплохо😅
This guy is the definition of the term "bloke".
Bloke means male haha.
As long as he's not a Bogan, she'll be right.
My dad is Australian, and I feel like I'm watching a video about him. It's spot on!
😂
Same!
Aussie here. Yes it is spot on 😂
Soooo... the point of the story is don’t be fooled by their cute accents
I also want to marry an Australian ore british woman i am 36 year old I work in dubai00971563206731 00971563206731
This doesn't represent Aussie guys that accurately, though some may be like this.
The video is super inaccurate, there are tonssssss of charming Aussie guys, like 90% are gems
hi
@@peytongomer2305 oh yea! Mine sure is.. sticks with me through. Thick. And. Thin. I can. Talk to him. About stuff and not. Have it turn. Into a screaming match.
As a guy, I've rarely had as much fun or as many laughs as I did when me and my friends hung out with a few Australian dudes. We loved their super-chill attitudes, constant smiling, and their ability to laugh at just about anything. Made for an awesome evening. Then again, we obviously didn't want anything amorous from them, so perhaps that's when they're at their best. lol
I'm Latin woman and had a relationship with an aussie for 6 years. If they aren't obsessed with sports they are obsessed with making money and work around the clock. I remember he gave a mirror he found in the rubbish one Christmas haha. That was his Christmas present. It's funny after few years but I cried a lot. After few years he just gave me money as a present. Mates priority number 1... is totally true! Made me cry too when he had only 1 day off and spent it with his mates. Wearing flip-flops even when riding a motorbike. It was pretty challenging. Yeah it felt like dating a teenager - we were in our 30s- but they are good guys tho. Loyal, good hearted and genuine.
Do Australian men like Latinas?
@@valerievile8114 I think some Australian guys like us! I don't think there is a lot of Hispanics/latinos in Australia when I went. I know there is a small population in Australia. It's not as big as the U.S. But I think some of the guys like us because most of us are pretty. Not all of them do but some do! :)
@@aliciasheerin231 simple way to test if an aussie guy would like you. Are you breathing?
Aww, I'm Latina (Cent. A. And US) too and I worked with an Aussie and he got ALL the ladies attention in the office. I just couldn't see past his sloth energy, weird obsession with blue polos on Fridays 😂. I'm surprised you held on for 6yrs, they definitely clash with Latina tastes (thongs 24/7 😂)
Yeah, I'm aussie, used to give girlfriends money for birthdays, christmas etc. they could then buy what they really wanted, what could be better? 😉
She really didn't want to touch his little snake 😂
I had an Aussie boyfriend and after 3 months of living together I run back home! These men will eventually get you with their funny charm and kind of adventurous life style but they will never be able to take responsibility for what a woman wants and needs after this first layer of the relationship. We had a great connection at first, always joking and laughing and traveling together, then I realized I couldn’t get more from him! I would also add that they drink a lot (way too much) and they have no style and taste for clothing at all...
Sorry he didn't stroke your ego, we don't give a shit about your ego. We aren't here to serve you, if you can't look after yourself piss off
Haha couldn't agree more with this!
J OMG I’m speechless 😂😂😂😂 Ego? Serve me? I can’t look after myself? WHAT? Like seriously what are you talking about? Do you know what having a relationship means? I guess you don’t for sure 😂😂 like honestly wtf! If I wanted a buddy then I wouldn’t want to live with him or have sex with him. I’m sorry my comment and honest experience have made you feel such inferior, not my fault anyway 😂😂👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻 (i suggest you to drink less beer before commenting on people on the internet )
@@beatriceciubotaru2689 lol you say that they can't give you what a woman wants, you peanuts don't even know what you want for dinner most of the time haha.
J not my case. If you think that a woman needs are to be served then you really have some issues! I’m sorry !! Good luck xx
3:00 "Cricket this time"
Three weeks later, that same cricket match is still going on
I dunno, as an Aussie married to an Aussie this video certainly represents a type of Australian, particularly the sporting crowd. My husband is better at remembering anniversaries than I am lol.
Once we went shopping and I jumped in the car while he went to take the trolley back and I waited and waited and eventually I look over and he is helping these two older ladies get some very heavy boxes into their boot.
Another time we went to the movies I went and got the tickets while he ducked to the supermarket to get the chocolate that I liked because he knew the cinema had stopped stocking it. Again I waited and waited, turns out he also went back to the homeless man we saw on the way and did a shop for him with some important supplies to keep the guy warm because it was freezing that night.
My hubby is the literal shirt off his own back type and I love him for it.
As an aussie this makes me cringe
At the accuracy
Asterope Aussies are awesome!
Super accurate, but YMMV
It’s true though.
Bloody Toorak snob
Conclusion: Australian men as your wingmen / best bros but defo not for relationship if you're passionated
That flip flop part got me lol.. it's literally me everywhere in summer , especially in Greece..all other girls wearing decent shoes and sandals n then me, flip flop all around like what's the biggie :p

Heaps of fun tho ay
It's a generalisation though, not all men are like that 😊
Hmm he looks very handsome, but that's about it. Not my cup of tea...like a teenager who just grew bigger n now "qualifies" being called a "man" based on his age and looks.
Ad Ad I'm Australian and I agree!!
He's the exreme, not the norm.
exactly my ex (Aussie)
The norm is very different, Aussie men are very charming actually
Usually it’s the boyish charm foreigners love about us haha.
His friends were hilarious the way they laughed. ....Too funny all of them
So, an aussie is not for me lol the accent is great though.
You do realise this is a youtube video..
So you think Chris Hemsworth isnt worth it? lol
Not all Aussies have small ones. Just like all races have big and small. That was a stupid comment. Its the how they use them more so. Small ones can do a better job than bigger ones.
Well I watched this because I'm currently dating an Aussie guy. Some of it are true like being laid back (not too much tho), shortening words (which we also kinda do in our language)... Rest of it are cringe. And my man puts more effort in our relationship. He never forgets our anniv. 😂 He also pay attention to the little things I say. Like when I told him I like sunflowers and pandas. He made me a paper mache of a panda. He adjusts to my culture. Since I'm a Filipina, we celebrate monthsarries. Lol. He calls it month-a-versy which I find really cute. He's crafty and I am too. I made a tiny guitar for him and his dad which is made of popsicle sticks. He is very kind and considerate. I'm his first girlfriend so that's probably a factor why he puts more effort in it than other guys. Honestly, he's like the ideal guy everyone wants. Lol. He works part time but that does not matter as long as he can provide enough for us if we ever have family. What matters is the character and attitude first. Job is also important but you two should get along first. And I can say we get along. I like video games, he likes them too. When I told him I play Sims4, he tried it. Lol. When I told him I love skyrim, he also bought one and played it. Anyway, there's probably an Aussie out there that beats the typical stereotypes.
Yo if you're basing your opinion of Australian men on a bigoted video then the problem is with you not Australians.
So many new videos! Keep it coming! This is awesome!
I'm moving to Australia, I'm Czech and I love Australian people. I worked with quite a few Australians in the UK and I loved their relaxed attitude, great sense of humour, their lovely singy accent and the spark they had about them. Plus, Australian men are very hot🔥🔥
Me too , I ❤️ them without any reason , i just ❤️ them😁
Met a czech girl who was dating an aussie guy i met at a wedding. She was really cool. Reserved but seemed like she fit right in personality wise. Come on over!
Funniest one yet, guys....could not stop laughing!!! Ugh, the sports thing, its SO true.
Good thing he's so easy on the eyes! 😉❤

The girl is Phillipine.

THONGS mate. Australians never call them flip-flops EVER!
this video is one of my favorites to this day hahaha she's hilarious, he's hilarious the whole thin from start to finish is gold haha
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH THE THONGS 🤣🤣🤣🤣 A friend of mine who took an exchange semester at my Uni (Bogota, 2600msnm) took the flipflops EVERYDAY to school, even when storming. One day some meme-razzi took a picture of us walking under the rain and made a meme of his footwear to post at University's meme fan page. Was so funny xD😂
If they wear flipflops everywhere, they're probably either Vietnamese or Australian. 😄
LOVE THE BIT ON CRICKET!!! Too good
I'm an Aussie guy, but apart from being laid back, and not that much into getting presents for other people. None of this applies to me. I do use slang, but not to that extreme, and I have travelled overseas, to the U.S. Europe and the U.K. So do have a sense of culture. But I also like to have a good time.
You should also do: ‘You know you are dating a Kiwi when....
My dad is from New Zealand but *this video is so so true!* SO FUNNY! - i can confirm the flip flop thing. The stereotype is true. summer, winter, all year round... *we live in ireland* .... also the tactless romantic thing with gifts... my mum could tell you some hilarious stories. Dad forgot their first wedding anniversary and apparently got her a reduced, wilted plant from Tesco followed by McDonalds ....
Haha definitely a key to a girl's heart
You spelt it "half-arse". Thank you ☺
Had an Australian friend and he is so nice.. love talking to him
When I saw the thongs at the beginning, I was almost sure this is well made
Been dating an Australian (I'm a British Asian) for 2 months! Here are my assessments:
1) 100% true, def super laidback, I honestly don't get how he never gets stressed lol
2) Also 100% true, half the stuff he says is ironic/sarcastic, although he does have a romantic side now I've got to know him better
3) True again lol, he's always teasing me and isn't the most emotionally open
4) This one isn't true in my case, he doesn't watch sports very much
5) Lol he has asked me when my birthday is several times, I think he does try to do the traditional romantic stuff but isn't a natural at it (we haven't had that many occasions during 2 months though)
6) We did have a whole chat about coming up with 3 letter nicknames for our friends lol but he doesn't use them that much
7) Def true, minus the drinking part, he's teetotal
Thank you this is so spot on I’m an Aussie myself
I grew up and live in Australia and struggle with my lack of attraction to aussie men :/
They're as good and reliable as friends/mates but the boyish charms can be such a turn off. Genuineness is a huge plus tho! I do like how aussie men are independent and value their friends - this can be a turn off for women who prefer to be catered to all the time....
As a German who lived with an Aussie man for almost 2 years I can confirm that this is pretty accurate... ALL OF IT. My man's exactly like that when it comes to cricket & footy, it's horrible. :D And he's probably the most unromatic person I ever met... but that's alright. :D
"And he's probably the most unromantic person I ever met". But you are a German, don't you think German men are unromantic?
@@siddharthtripathi5806 Not all of them. :D But then probably not all Aussies are unromantic, hey? ;)
@@siddharthtripathi5806 german men are far more romantic than aussies
@@chrislouis7913 Really? I was under the impression that North European men are less romantic then Anglosphere men. But now I realise that's not always the case.
@@siddharthtripathi5806 no it’s true. In order to have some sort of romance you’re country needs to have some sort of distinct culture or tradition. Australia doesn’t have a proper culture and that’s why they don’t really have a romantic culture. Germany has but the most romantic countries are probably In the south of Europe like Spain or Greece
Overgrown 11 year olds

southpawlibra nine never said being an overgrown 11 year old was bad. No need to get rude
I have to say that is a very apt description
Fuck oath, why be serious
6:41 I'm so glad they included a translation!
Geez, they forgot that Aussie Football is a fairly violent sport. I saw my first match a week ago and there were three injuries in the first ten minutes, two of which had to be carted off the field, and that was just the first ten minutes!
OMG ...
And that is now day when they are actually putting penalities on. Back in the day there were people who were drafted to the club for the sole reason of attacking opposition team players. There were players who knocked other opponents out and got a one week suspension, and it was completely ok to just charge at someone and throw your entire body into them as they were running before they saw you. Its a miracle no one has died playing this game

5:07 *LMFAO the way he shook her hands sends her head whipping back XD too much power mate*
So basically a recommendation video to stay away from Assie men?
marisa82 More like a... buyer-beware reminder. Aussies have a more carefree outlook, value treating everyone the same, value friends and mateship. Factor it all in. There was way more that could have been included in this video...
Yeah definitely wasn’t a positive promo 😂
I'm Aussie and not like this.
Prof. S. Martass h
Most Aussie men are nothing like this and the parts which are true have been massively exaggerated. Feels like whoever made this video is kind of a bigot.
I was gonna say apart from the thong, everything else is over-exaggerated until I realised I have a friend called gazza ..... and I don't know his real name.
It's so true!
They're always wearing their flip flops or even they can walk without them. Besides, the thing about the mates, they really love their friends more than a bae lol

It's great that you've found an interest in learning about Australia even though your relationship with the Aussie guy didn't work out. Aussie boys are known to be fun to be around, but it's important to do research and prepare yourself for potential dangers like spiders before traveling to Australia. When you visit Australia you can also explore people using dating apps. You can fund more people on dating apps There are many dating apps available like Tinder, Bumble, and Out There. I will personally recommend you Out there if you are really looking for something meaningful as you can connect with people in person instead of just swiping through profiles. By checking in at a location, users can see who's around and invite them to meet up and say hi. Regardless, exploring all that Australia has to offer is sure to be an amazing experience!😎
