Or if you don't want to set up mouse and keyboard, another option is to purchase a small keyboard for android/smart TV from online stores. It will have the same function of mouse and keyboard but just easy installation via dongle which is already included.

@@ZeusLongcayana Setting up keyboard and mouse is needed if we will use our android/smart tv to edit MS files which makes the tv a computer without CPU. My tv has no available MS app to download, only WPS which could also open, read and edit MS office files. Too bad that when my '1 week work from home' ended was when I found out that I could use my TV as a computer. I used my super slow laptop, tv to screen cast files from my cp, and another cp to look at another file. Just imagine my frustration when I found out too late. 😂😅

it's actually using your tv as computer bro in a sense that you are using a mouse and keyboard which is way more convenient than using the tv's remote. and besides, you can do worksheets too and use it for online class. just a little hack for those who prefer to use smart tv than buying a real computer.
i did trun my tv into a moniter cuz no room to use the computer on the moniter cuz i been using that for tv it was enjoy to play roblox on the pc on the big screen.

choose the one that is most comfortable to you bro. if you can mount your roku tv on the wall much better as long as you have long cable connectors for the keyboard, mouse, and webcam.

i have a jvc 42 inch tv and i used its as my monitor but when i tried to play some games it shows video not supported
probably it has something to do with the video resolution, of the game itself and the tv's screen resolution. just double check it if they match. thanks.
what if you already have a pc and just need a new monitor how do i make the smart tv like a normal tv?
just use HDMI buddy. whenever you want to use your smart tv in a normal way, just unplug the HDMI from your PC and you're good to go. Hope it helps.

@@imbatman8472 I see. Try to find out whether the hdmi is loosing or tightly plugged. If it doesn't work, try the vga connector or the DVI connector.

My Android TV has pc mode and game mode. I turn them both on and get no lag or fps drops, works great!

hello po mam, run by android lang po ang karamihan ng smart tv. so ang magagawa lang po natin mam ay mag install ng online windows emulator. nasa list ko pa lang itong gagawin na ito mam, di pa matapos dahil sa online class tapos lesson plans hahaha.

di ko lang po sure mam kung pwede, kase wala akong separate na webcam para ma test. just in case po meron kayo, subukan nyo lang po malay natin baka pwede pala. pero mam sa tingin ko lang pwede sya kase ang mga webcam naman ay USB ang connector nya so most probably gagana sya, baka iopen lang ang app nong webcam kung anong brand man yon. maraming salamat po mam, sana nakatulong po ako. hello bro, thanks for the comment. you have actually defined what a computer is. having these two things to look your smart tv more like a computer specially in navigating or browsing the web. you can even write documents by downloading the wps office. computer meaning is not only confined to a device that performs processes, calculations, and operations based on instructions provided by a software or a hardware program. Smartphones and tables are also considered as computers. lastly, the tv that I used is the modern tv, not the old time tv that is only designed for changing from one channel to another. may mga in app games po na pwedeng laruin pero kung talagang big file games hindi po kakayanin kase walang HD or SSD ang smart tv, unless yong mga manufacturers will soon try to add certain amount of memory space para pwede na talagang makapag install ng games or even makapag run ng OS. just wishing. haha

I haven't come up to this kind of idea yet buddy. all I know is you can only connect your smart tv to the cpu or vice versa by using HDMI. How I wish smart/android tv's now a days can be installed with the real cpu to run it just like the real PC.

The concept of this video is to actually use the Tv the way we use our pc or laptop. So, by plugging in mouse and keyboard, you are now able to use it conveniently. You can also plug in a webcam. You can also do paper works.

No need naman po mam unless gagawin nyo lang na monitor ang TV para malaki ang screen ay need nyo po ang pc or laptop. or i-project ang phone screen sa laptop. in fact pwede nyo rin po ikonek ang webcam.
